I browsed around and found a plethora of cashmere sweaters from rack to rack. I have never seen so many different cashmere sweaters in one boutique shop. It was quite fantastic. My grandmother, great aunts, mom, cousins and I all have a love for cashmere sweaters. It's the perfect fabric for 3 out of 4 seasons. I found 5 different cashmere sweaters and all different styles, cuts and colors too. The burgundy with the two cut out on the upper chest looked fun, but it wasn't so flattering on. Plus I tend to wear them to keep me warm and the cutouts would make it drafty for sure. The dark color didn't suit me well either. The gray with the angled shoulders looked unique, but made me think of Star Trek every time I looked at it. Didn't suit me either. The pink and gray vintage seamed was loose but not too baggy. My husband found it baggy on me, but it was quite comfy. The other pale pink sweater fit me like a glove and the sleeves were nice too and the whole sweater was form fitting. The first gray sweater is my absolute favorite. It caught my eye on the mannequin and that's the one I bought since it fit me perfectly. I liked the cinched or gathered design all over the sweater. It fit me well and the design is subtle but unique enough. 3 new cashmere sweaters to keep me toasty and warm this fall / winter for years to come. Service was good. Will be back for more cashmere sweaters in the future.

However I do not recommend getting your alterations done here. We cut it really close with my dress. My wedding was Sat and the dress was done Thursday. It ended up being way to big on the top my bridesmaids tried pinning it but it didn't really work. So I felt frumpy. When Angelique called to asked how the dress was I said it was fine because at that point I had no time to drive all the way back for more alterations chancing not having it in time. I may have went back if the seamstress actually worked at the store but she works off site. So the dress although gorgeous was disappointing because of the seamstress. Their prices were much higher than we wanted to spend. After telling her that we didn't want to spend over $250-300, she brought my daughter a $620 dress to try on. She loved it of course, but we weren't willing to spend that much. They were "kind" enough to discount the dress to $520, which was still out of our price range. My daughter was torn and considered using her savings to pay for part of the dress because there was no way I was able to pay that amount. We decided to leave and think on it. The owner's daughter grabbed us as we were walking out and begged us to put $100 down to "hold" the dress while we thought it over so she wouldn't lose it. I was unsure at first, but thought it would give her the opportunity really think about if it was worth spending double our budget. Her daughter ASSURED me that the money was fully refundable if we decided to go with something else. The owner stood RIGHT next to her as she said this. I would NEVER have agreed to this otherwise, since I felt that this was too much to spend on a dress, but wanted to allow my daughter the chance to make that decision herself. Well, we did find a dress that she loved the next day that was half the price. I called Boutique Angelique right away to tell them that they could put the dress back on the rack and inquired about how I could recoup my deposit. The owner coldly said, "You aren't getting that money back. That money is GONE! " She was BEYOND rude to me and flat out LIED! The conversation lasted for more than 10 minutes where we went back and forth between me reminding her that I was assured that my "hold" money was refundable and her telling me that she and her daughter would never say such a thing. I was mortified. I couldn't believe the way she was speaking to me and I especially couldn't believe the fact that she had no issue telling a complete and utter lie! I was in tears and finally asked if she would at least issue me a store credit, I thought maybe I could at least buy her jewelry or SOMETHING. The owner said, "NO! I told you, that money is GONE!" I finally hung up the phone but not before letting her know that she was doing a TERRIBLE thing and that karma is a real thing. Awful, awful woman. Oh, and I failed to mention after posting my experience on FB, I had numerous friends and friends of friends commenting that they had similar awful experiences here. One friend even shared that they pulled the refundable "hold" trick on her as well! Unbelievable! These ladies are unscrupulous. Truly my worst interaction with a business owner in my whole life.
