He gave breaks, checked in, and explained what step he was at, at every check in. For the details on workspace and cost: very clean environment, adherence to keeping things sanitized (couldn't give my wife a high five because he'd put on the gloves but gave an elbow bump in solidarity), and good, transparent pricing. Out of the several times I've been here since they opened, 2/3 have been unpleasant. For anyone wanting to come: please beware of the fact that they are closed form 4-5 PM for lunch. I came on a Saturday afternoon to a sign posted on the door stating the closure. After perusing at UV for a bit over an hour, they reopened, However, when I returned, I was told that they would no longer be offering services for the remainder of the day due to their piercer leaving early. Typically, they announce such same-day service disruptions on their social media but (for whatever reason), did not in this day. Had I known, I would've stuck with my original plan of going to another shop when we found out. It is crucial to note that there were other customers sitting in the lobby waiting (for what I presume were piercing services). While Laughing Buddha offers an expansive selection of jewelry, their pieces are far from inexpensive. Their staff is usually helpful but may have a condescending tone? I've messaged their owner about this and a separate instance from a couple years ago and received a sincere apology. Since then, I've noticed that there has definitively been a drastic improvement in their customer experience.
