Met Val a year or two ago through my girlfriend while she was working at another tattoo shop and followed her over when she moved to Envision. Today I got my third piercing with her. I contacted her last minute today on her instagram and she was really quick to respond with her rates/availability. When I got to the shop, the vibes were immaculate. She was so easy to talk to and we got along instantly. I had a hundred questions for her in regard to different piercings, how they would fit with my anatomy, and how they would look with my current piercings. She always gave her honest opinion and answered with a lot of patience. I settled on a conch piercing and can honestly say that the pain was maybe a 4-5/10. Had an overall amazing experience today. Val, my friend, and I were having a ton of fun laughing and joking around. Overall, 10/10 piercing and yap session. I'll definitely be back soon to get something pierced. This was my first time at this shop and I will definitely be back! I walked in without an appointment on January 25th. I was greeted by Zack and I asked him if there was any availability for walks in. He informed me that he had time and asked what I was looking to get. I had brought in a card that was signed by my grandma who had passed away the day before and told him I'd like what she wrote along with angel wings and a halo, and showed him a picture of what I was looking for. He immediately took pictures of both items I had and gave input on what he thought would look good. He went to work on getting sketches with different sizes and came back shortly after that for my input. Zack helped me pick what size would look the best for the area I wanted it. Then he got to work tattooing the most important piece I will ever have. I cannot express how much this all meant to me. He was so sweet and talked to me about my grandma and even told me stories about people he has lost. He did an amazing job on making me feel like this piece was important to him as well. After the tattoo was done and I was able to show my mom in person she said "that's my mom's handwriting" He did such a perfect job in making sure the handwriting was precise to hers. I could not have asked for a more perfect tattoo or artist. I will definitely be back for more tattoos from Zack as well as referring everyone I know to him. I showed up unannounced on Monday 12/26/22 to scope the spot out after stalking Envisions Instagram pages for months. I arrived a few minutes before close, but artist/righteous dude Dana greeted me upon arrival. Dana was mid tattoo, but when a beak was appropriate, he came and spoke to me about what I was looking for and time frame. Dana recommended that I connect with Scott Adams and suggested he was a perfect fit. Muy greatful! General impression of the space... Clean and bad ass art and flash everywhere... if I had kids I'd leave them here for the day. Scott and I connected, discussed a rough idea of what I was looking for and availability. The interaction was great, I dropped a deposit and we picked a date/time. The day of the appointment... Scott and I met at the spot on time and had a brief chat. Scott is a super personable dude I must say. Scott had great suggestions and feedback and helped me land on EXACTLY what I was looking for but could not articulate. Tattoo time...Scott free handed some bad ass art, checked for approval every step of the way, and the we got rolling. His hand is light, lines are straight, and color is sick! He fixed/completed a mess of a 14 year old tattoo on my chest and laid down some sweet caps in my traps. I couldn't be happier. I'm so stoked on the work I'm ready to start planning a full back piece in the next month or so. I've been tattooed by several artists at several different shops and found no other shop with a vibe like Envision. I have been fortunate enough to have work done by Jacob Doney the owner, a couple of times now. He's always on time or early. Super talented and humble. He always makes you feel welcome and listens to your input. He and everyone at the shop are welcoming and do not put off any sort of ego or intimidating feeling like other shops. Jacob always responds to emails in a reasonable time and makes sure you feel prepared for your session. He works quickly and is not heavy handed at all. He's very aware of your discomfort and knows that all tattoos hurt. He avoids needlessly shading things over and over and is aware that every time he wipes your tattoo it hurts... the dude gets it! He makes every effort to make the experience as painless as possible, physically and emotionally. He's an all around nice dude who care about his work and his clients. He great to talk to and super down to earth. The guy is booked out at least 4 months the last time I checked. It's totally worth the wait. So email him right now if you want a spot. You won't regret it. I cannot recommend Jacob enough! I'm super proud to wear his work and you will be too. Honestly, his entire crew works really hard to make Envision such a great shop.
