In full transparency, I did not know what the durability or longevity of furniture would be purchased at outlet. For clothing at an outlet, the hem could be off, button missing or another small imperfection. One would expect furniture to be durable and long lasting. Four Hands Outlet carries medium grade furniture. It appears to be foundational type furniture. There were a number of tables, chairs and sofa to peruse in the store. I will likely pop by when the tent is fully stocked. It is important to note that Four Hands Outlet has earned a number of Yelp awards. The sales representative shared her knowledge of what was going to be included in the sale, although her knowledge was limited. The furniture ranges from low to medium price range.

In fact, all their Austin signs and Keep Austin Weird signs were a draw to venture into the store. Austin's Furniture depot is located on Burnet Road and offers a unique mix of new furniture, statement pieces, and items from local artists. This is not your typical furniture store. Surprisingly, the Austin signs are quite affordable. I asked Shawn one of the store managers, what do folks do with all these signs. He responded by saying the put them in their homes and businesses. One of the eye-catching items in the addition to the signage, are the abstract and unusual artwork covered in shiny glass. I love abstract anything, therefore, I was very intrigued. They also had some individuals featured in the pictures with bold and colorful features. Shawn was friendly, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. Upon entrance we weren't greeted and she seemed not interested in helping us out. Instead the owner was more interested in taking pictures for her social media. This past weekend I had my mother and sisters in town and wanted to show them around the cute shops here. My sister walked over to the Farm Cortale and wanted to check it out. I was hesitant since my first visit wasn't so great, but thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, I was wrong the owner was still as rude if not worse this time around. Not once did she greet us or even ask if we needed assistance, no customer service. She followed my family around with her arms crossed staring at us disapprovingly. My husband sat his coffee cup down to look at a recipe book he was interested in. She then told him to remove his cup, to which he asked "what would you like me to do with it?". Then she said "oh great now you're taking a picture of a recipe really?". At this point I said "let's just leave" and felt very uncomfortable since she had asked my husband "are you with them?" She made me and my family feel judged and unwelcome racially. I also felt as though she disapproved that I had a baby with me in her shop. I will not be visiting this establishment again or recommending it. I will be sure to let everyone I know about the owners behavior. After this encounter I went to the shops next this place and had a way better experience shopping with the very nice store owners from Mercer St. Art & Boutique, Panache, Vintage Soul, Revel Wilde and Juniper Tree Market.

Cute little locally owned boutique near Drip Highschool off of 290 behind Railroad BBQ…read more Been meaning to come here for over a year since seeing the huge billboard when driving east on 290 from Fredericksburg when we first moved to town. Friendly staff, this place has a little bit of everything. Boutique baby items, funny cards, lotions and sprays, high end PJ's, dresses/tops (Johnny Was), toy section for that last minute bday gift (Legos, books, other toys) and you don't want to go all the way into Bee Cave or Austin to get it. They also have a whole area in the back if you are in the need of reupholstering your house goods with many different fabrics and textures. We came during Christmas break so they had a seasonal section in the front of the store that was on sale post xmas. Plenty of parking, easy in/out as its right off 290. Eat some bbq, then walk over to work off those meat lbs and shop afterwards. Support local!
