I have ordered from here twice via Uber Eats because Uber Eats was offering $15 off my order. Actually, it is 3 times but the first time Curbside declined my order. I don't know if that was because they didn't want to take what Uber Eats was offering or if it was too close to their closing time. Both times that I successfully ordered, the food came quickly and was well packed. You will see that from the photos. The first order included ribs, rib strips, smoked sausage and a Jamaican beef patty. The second order was fried pork chops for both of us. The entrees were ok and the sides were impressive. The ribs/rib strips were oven cooked and pre-sauced and were pretty plain. The smoked sausage turned out to be a on a bun and was good but a little overcooked dry. The Jamaican beef patty was bland and looked like it might be those frozen ones you see in the grocery store. The fried pork chops were moist but pretty plain too. The wow was the sides. The baked beans have a unique and addictive taste. The corn on the cob is fried and was delicious. The mac 'n cheese was tasty. The only side that was disappointing were the greens. To be honest, as plain as the entrees were, I would order from them again just because of the sides. I'll just have to keep trying other entrees to see if I can find that wow item. P.S. Easy parking. Only a few out door tables but enough room. Staff is very friendly and honest. Went over the menu with us and we were very appreciative. The food was great. Forgot to take a picture. Plenty of food with the dinner meals. I got the chicken dinner and it came with two sides. Mac and fries were good. Plenty of chicken in the sandwich also. Wife got the rib dinner and plenty of food on that also. We also got the koolaid and Jamaican patty. Both were great. We will definitely come back next time in Florida. read more

I ordered the pulled pork and made to order conch salad. despite my notes and choices the sandwich did not come with the two sides I picked, cole slaw and collard greens but with fried okra and very cold grits. yuck! gave it to the dogs. on the conch salad it was mostly water due to the cucumber having sat for hours. Years, I say! ***Outdoor seating only, three tables to choose from, order first, once food comes out you pay, ask for extra napkins b/c you'll need them, and the meal won't even make a dent in your wallet*** The food undeniably speaks for itself. A pretty large group of us went to Curbside BBQ for lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was fairly easy to find, but parking wasn't super convenient. They do not have their own parking lot and all the neighboring businesses have signs to warn you that they will tow. We parked on the main road, about two blocks away which wasn't bad since the weather was nice. Everything but the kitchen is outside, so I can see weather being a factor when deciding to come here. There was a gentleman behind the counter which I think was the owner. He was very kind and took all of our orders and had us sit down without paying. A few of us wanted to pay, but he said we could do that after we ate. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and corn on the cob with a Kool-Aid! It's been so long since I've had Kool-Aid and it got me all excited lol. The baked beans were very yummy and I loved the seasoning on the corn on the cob. The pulled pork was good, but parts of it were cold. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food. I am very curious to take a look inside the kitchen, just the way everything was set up had me curious. My meal was incredibly inexpensive! After were all done eating, we went back to the counter for the gentleman to cash us out. We expected that it was cash only since there was an ATM there, but they actually were able to take payment via credit card and then my receipt was texted to me. My meal with drink was only $8.60! The hospitality was so great, the atmosphere soo laid back....It's always great to find business' like this and support them. It wasn't the best BBQ or even one of the best that I have had BUT it was very good and extremely reasonably priced. This is probably one of the easiest little restaurants that you can miss but I say this with complete honesty, YOU DONT WANT TO!!! This is by far my favorite place to get barbecue in Tallahassee. The food is so good, it travels well if you don't want to eat there, and I would practically die for the pink lemonade they sell. If you are a barbecue lover like me, you've GOT to check this place out. Bottom line: Good Bar BQ served up as it should be - Outdoors! Met friends at Curbside Bar B.Q. for lunch today. One of us had come here for the first time (earlier this week) and was impressed so he suggested we check it out, and we did. This is absolutely "Street Food" - as the name suggests. I imagine that in the early days, "Curbside BBQ" might have been just that. A place where you drove up and picked your order by the curb from someone running it out to you from the kitchen. Nowadays, the "Curbside" approach has given way to four concrete round tables/benches with umbrellas, right in front of the order-counter. There were all the usual suspects from which to choose, in addition to what I'll call a "boutique" menu item (The "Peruvian Gold" Chicken). Instead of ordering what I SHOULD have ordered (the pulled pork, the ribs, you know - STANDARDS) - I opted for the Peruvian Gold. Sensibly, the others ordered from the "Standard" list. (Wings, ribs, pulled pork). I liked my "Peruvian Gold" Chicken. I did. The thing is, it was a Honey-Mustard-with-a-kick sauce and I'm very persnickety about what belongs on barbeque and what I consider South Carolina's contribution to the cuisine (mustard) need not apply. Too late. I had to keep my peevish way in check as I enjoyed the delightful mustardy chicken. Mmmm. good... (Don't get me wrong - i absolutely respect the dish, the preparation, and the creative effort involved here - it's just that I made an oath to stay away from mustardy barbeque years ago and, well, there I go breaking oaths...). As I looked over at my friends' plates - with their nice ribs, pulled pork, wings and such - I realized that this place was very good! I guess the up-side is that for you folks who think that mustard is a good idea on Barbeque, you're in luck! - The Peruvian Gold is right up your alley. Looking for good food, at a great price, by a local restaurateur? Then Curbside could be your next place for lunch. Like most people, I've driven by it for years. What you see from the street is their sign. Park and walk right down the concrete "driveway" right below the sign. And stop trying to look around to find the door. There is no door, as this restaurant has no inside. Walk right on up to the counter, and someone will come out to take your order. Wife and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and fried okra on the side (all meals come with 2 sides), and a riblet sandwich with mac&cheese and baked beans on the side. Both accompanied by unsweet tea. Once you order, take a seat at one of the three picnic tables until summoned back to the counter for pick up. The pork sandwich was the better bet, with a good amount of pork in just the right amount of sauce (I hate it when the pulled pork is over-sauced). The riblets were a tad overcooked and still had the bones in them meaning that they were better picked up and eaten off the bone than in a sandwich. The two standout sides were the baked beans and the mac&cheese. As with Matt C., we were skeptical to see a spoonful of grated cheese on top of the mac&cheese. But it works. While the mac&cheese comes to the party with all the creaminess that you would expect, the grated cheese added an extra bite of sharpness that really worked. And each of these meals was $7. I didn't like it! The service was AMAZING, but not my kind of BBQ. I ordered crab legs, chicken, sausage, ribs, beans, Mac n cheese, and greens. I bought a lot because I wanted it to last two or three days. The crab legs were good (I like more spice), but they give you one corn and a lot of potatoes for the price i was expecting at least another corn. The potatoes were like regular garlic, butter, and parsley potatoes. The sides were good but I'll order just beans and greens next time. They give you a lot of food!!!! The sausage tasted like vinegar. The ribs I didn't like so I only ate one. The chicken wasn't on the bone it was like chicken pieces. Nothing actually tasted like BBQ not even the sauce. Mr. Henry's tender meats and flavorful sides are addicting. Been coming here for a while now. Just went yesterday for lunch and might go again this week. I was in desperate need. I was going to the FSU Clemson game and it was my first tailgate with my girls of the year. They were both now in school together and we got season tickets. My wife decided not to go up until the day of the game and I had to find a quick place for takeout. I had heard about curbside from a few other people I thought I'd give it a try. Boy was I not disappointed. The ribs were fantastic and needed no dipping sauce. The pulled pork with moist and well seasoned. The chicken was smokey but not dry. The macaroni and cheese had real smoked cheddar cheese baked in that made it fantastic. They had pulled pork that was moist and was fantastic with their homemade barbecue sauce. The previous reviews are on point - we all ordered fried seafood, but gave in and ordered an additional plate after smelling the smoke from the barbeque. Be better than us - go straight for the smoked meats. We went for the pulled pork that we thought we would take home - and ended up giving into temptation. 100% worth it. The sides were excellent, too. I recommend the okra and Mac and cheese. And if you're into it, get the hot sauce. The cut habaneros floating in it made it even better. Good food, good people. First my disclaimer: the owner/grill master Henry is a personal friend of mines. Now with the review. I'm a KCBS Certified BBQ Judge and a master BBQ Chef, and have judged several BBQ competition around the country. This is Backyard BBQ at its finest. The Pull pork is a 10, the right tenderness and the BBQ sauce is just the right sweetness and tanginess to match. The bake beans were also and point. The slaw was good also, I just would had like to have a little more seasoning in the slaw wether sweet or tangy. I like them both in my slaw. This is now one of my favorite BBQ spots when I come to Tallahassee, and I'll be here often as my sons are Rattlers. Congratulations Henry on the wonderful BBQ. We have eaten there twice and the only criticism is there is no 'lega' parking so we park in the Starbucks parking lot. The pulled pork is tender and the sauce is great. Susan could use less vinegar and I could use a little more heat but as is it is some tast pork. The Collards are so good even this Yankee thought they were great, lol. The mac and cheese was some of the best I've had. Not smothered i n cheese, just enough, and a sprinkle of Parmesan on top. Overall a real taste treat. I been seeing this place when I drive-by on way to work. My usually rib man was close, so I give it a try. Always stay with who you know. I order the 1/2 slab with sides fries and fried okra, the sides orders was the only thing good the order. I told him no bbq Sauces, hey bring the ribs to me covered in sauces. He said sorry and took the back. I was ok with that. The second order The ribs was ok, but I order half a slab and got cut up pierce that equal out to look like 4 bones...and was small pierces at that. Then he make it look like it was more ribs by add four slices of bread to at the bottom...any one that eat bbq know that's is a cheap move make it seem you have more when you don't. Visited today and the food was ok. I ordered the rib and chicken combo. It came with baked beans and coleslaw. It wasn't the worst but definitely not the best either. The sauce kind of took away from the ribs and chicken which i manged to try without sauce. The beans were ok but the coleslaw was a bit weird. They kind of tasted like chemical or something I'm not sure what that was but it was not good at all. The ladythat took my order was extremely kind and I enjoyed talking with her. He doesn't necessarily get your order right trying to figure out how to write it. I ordered Peruvian gold chicken, okra, macaroni and cheese.my daughter ordered rib strips and baked beans. The chicken was just chicken tenders with some kind of sauce on them (not bad, but not what I was expecting). The mac and cheese was a horrible pile of mush and I can't describe the flavor. The baked beans were wonderful, but I'm pretty positive when I open my can of Bush beans at home I taste the same thing. I don't think I would come back. My daughter's review was "well it did what food is supposed to do". I also ordered sweet tea and in their words "homemade lemonade" .
