i really like this place! i hadn't been to a dentist since before covid happened and i had my son,…read moreabout 2 and a half years ago. they didn't make me feel bad about it and established a care plan i was comfortable with. i had to get some periodontal cleaning done , since my gums were bothering me and i have a history of gingivitis . they took my health insurance (united concordia) and i only had to pay $65 out of pocket. the first time I went for the initial exam , I had a panic attack. the staff did not make me feel bad at all, they brought me water and waited until I was comfortable to move forward . They were all very comforting in my time of need. The second time I went back, i got my procedure done. they numbed me and I had no issues. I am going back this week for a routine cleaning. They all have gentle hands and great personalities. I now no longer have to go to the dentist in fear because I know I am in good hands.

Her staff is just as sweet as she is making you feel as comfortable and welcome as Dr. Lee. My teeth were so bad I thought I would get a lecture or the dentist would pass out. Neither happened. I am in the process of getting all teeth extracted to get dentures. Dr. Lee asked me Wed. how many I wanted out. I said all of them if she had time. She was down to the bottom six which gave her trouble. Dr. Lee tried many things she had learned to make it work. She told me over and over she didn't want me in pain. She really got a work out but was successful making it work. She called me later to see if I was okay and how to reach her after hours. She wanted me to know they were there for me. The best is the same day denture. I am travelling on this Thursday and no time to wait for my new denture. It is lucky that Salado Creek Dental can do the same day denture within couple hours. I said all I want is a normal teeth cleaning like I had had in the past with previous dentists and she told me they would not be doing that and I should go back to that dentist if that is what I wanted. They started by removing four crowns on my right side and placing temporary caps. I was told I might have pain in my upper right molar and may need a root canal, but instead my lower right molar caused severe pain. The pain was so bad I could not sleep for about a week. When I contacted the office, I was prescribed antibiotics and pain medication, but I did not feel comfortable returning. I later went to another dental office because the pain was unbearable. That office performed a root canal and helped address the issue. I also asked that office whether the crowns on my left side needed to be replaced, and they told me no. I then sought another opinion from a third dental office, and they also said the crowns on my left side did not need to be replaced. Based on my experience, I am very concerned about the recommendation to replace all eight crowns and the amount of pain I experienced after the work began. I have never experienced that level of dental pain before. I would strongly recommend that anyone receiving a major treatment plan here get a second opinion before moving forward, especially for extensive crown replacement.

This is a two- appointment review as I have subsequently come in for my cleaning after the initial exam. Judy is a very gentle and thorough hygienist. The process was done in one day, within a few hours, and was able to leave with a PERFECTLY fitted crown. I have always had issue of pain, fitting, or sharp edges of some sort. 2012-current (2020) and the crown is still doing better than others I have gotten more recently. If I lived closer, I would hands down be back :)
