I went to Cure because I've been sick for weeks and I just wasn't getting better even after going to my doctor. Dr. Benya and Chanel went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and I could tell that they truly cared! After assessing me, I got an IV drip that was made specifically for my symptoms. I honestly was not expecting the IV to help, but I was desperate to try anything to feel better! I am so glad I went to Cure because the difference in how I feel is night and day! What an amazing afternoon yesterday. Situated conveniently across the street from Nobu Malibu up on the hill, I arrived to meet a friendly receptionist who took me in to a very clean dressing area. I had called ahead to have the steam shower ready and then was taken back to the treatment room facing the ocean. April was my masseuse and what a joyful, knowledgeable lady. To my surprise they offer ACE Cupping. I have some sore areas that she immediately started working on and unlike other cupping treatments this was unbelievable..I will return and get more treatments from her. Amazing. read more

So, I normally don't post reviews but this was such a great experience I had to share! My hubby sprung for a quick getaway at the Malibu Beach Inn, which was lovely... ocean view from the room, nice restaurant, great service... but the best part, seriously, was the massage from Cure Spa. I'm always hunting for great massages because my job is very physically taxing, but this massage was hands down the best I've ever had. No joke! First of all, the massage room also faces the ocean. So, worth every penny already. But the masseuse, Rebecca, was AMAZING. Like, over the top ridiculous. Right from the beginning, she made me feel completely comfortable and the second she started, I knew I was in good hands. I always ask for deep tissue, which normally ends up being more like a swedish, but she rocked it! Not only did she get every knot I had out, but by the time she was done, I was a complete noodle. I think I said "thank you"... but I was so relaxed I'm not sure how coherent I was. If I could afford it, I'd drive out to Malibu to go to her every week. But at least my husband now knows what to get me for the next special occasion! read more

This joint is an oasis in an urban environment! I came here for a Brazilian Blowout, that was recommended by Dawn Williams,my sister. Being that I'm related to an employee I really didn't expect the staff to go above and beyond and, boy, was I surprised! I was treated like an A List customer, I was treated with kindness, a welcoming hospitality. My stylist, Dennisivitch, was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and talented. My boyfriend and I had the best experience at Cure Spa at the Malibu Beach Inn this last weekend. The location is just beautiful and will surly take your breath away as soon as you walk in and you have a straight view of the ocean. The check in desk is a little confusing as it is in the restaurant area where people are enjoying their sunday afternoons so it's a little loud and overwhelming, but as soon as we checked in we were whisked away upstairs by our two masseuses Rebecca and Lauren. The room was overlooking the ocean and had a fireplace going, it was so calming and beautiful. Rebecca was top notch. You could feel that she knew what she was doing and where she was going with her pressure and hands. I had told her I had upper back tension and she spent time on making sure I wouldn't feel that way when I was done, and she succeeded! She really takes you through a mind, body journey to relaxation and when we were done she had said she gets into her own zone listening to the ocean and it's like meditation for her, which I loved! I will 100% be going back to see Rebecca at Cure and I highly suggest you do too! read more

In actuality, we got a mediocre massage and were given no instruction after so we wandered back to the changing room, got dressed, and went to the front to cash out. Best kept secret in Malibu. Fantastic view. I've had massages, scrubs, and essential oil rubdowns here. April is excellent therapist. Love the Osea oil on my skin. The facility is spotless. All white. Have a nice hot tea and relax on the outdoor deck overlooking the ocean. Nice product amenities, oversized robes and towels. Especially enjoy having the shower in the steam room. My problem with this place is about the operations than the service. Me and my husband were welcomed warmly and taken to separate locker rooms men's and women's, no brained right, until my locker had no robe or slippers, then I wait, the receptionist comes back with a robe and then goes back to find me slippers, comes back to say they don't have clean slippers and asks me to feel free to walk bare feet, I adjust and use my sandals, the couples massage was great! After the massage we were given champagne to celebrate our anniversary great! then I go back in to change and this older man and his wife walk into my locker room WTH?? I politely say this is the women's locker room, the lady blurts no we come here every week this is unisex !! Maybe your Malibu culture but not seen unisex locker rooms with only one room to change any Spas I've been to. Then they both walk into the men's locker room , same reaction from my husband!! . I get the old man needed help from his wife but a little headsup from the staff after telling us the locker rooms were gender specific at first would have been nice! read more

I just recently visited CURE to get my lips injected because I've never had them done before and I am so happy with how they turned out. Claire was my nurse and was so friendly and made me comfortable the entire time. I was pretty nervous going into it because I have read things on the internet about how lip injections hurt the worst. I can honestly say on a scale from 1-10 (10 being the worst) it was about a 4! I couldn't believe how gentle Claire was. She really took her time explaining to me about the injection process and the post injection process. Not to mention the view at this place is a absolutely beautiful! I bought a travel zoo special for a massage and facial here. The location is strange, housed in an office structure on the east side of PCH in Malibu. That said the views from the spa of the ocean are beautiful and the treatment room where I received my massage looks right out over the ocean. To be honey, the room was a little too bright for a relaxing massage. The check in was a little weird- one woman was clearly sitting at the front to do paperwork only and she didn't even lift her head to acknowledge me even though she was the first person I saw. The girl who checked me in was a little awkward and nervous, it seemed. The changing room they put me in was fine but the bath rug was wet from someone else's use and had hair on it, so that was a little gross for a spa. The masseuse wanted to chat, which i indulged for the first few minutes and then just stopped responding to the chatter, The massage itself was just okay, but I was relaxed by the end. I am going back in a couple of weeks for a facial. If all goes well, it will have been worth the drive, but only at the cost of the travel zoo special read more

The only reason why I give it 4 stars is that we were the only ones there that day and they left the entire Balcony (with views of the water) and facility for my boyfriend and me! I went to Cure Spa for a couple of reasons. One, I was referred to by a friend. Secondly, they had a student discount so it was going to be around $75-$80 cheaper than the prior place I was getting my lips done. I felt pretty good going into it knowing that my friend had gotten her lip injections there too. When I was put into the private room I told them my medical history and normal things. Then the nurse (PA-who ever did my injections) and the secretary tried to convince me to get two syringes in my lips, even though I told them I was NOT interested. They also pushing my suggested that I get fillers in my cheeks and Botox on top of my lips as well. This was kind of insulting because they were being pretty pushy and picked my face apart and I'm only 21. Really awkward. And so that was over and then I was told that they didn't have the restalyn/juvederm that I needed and they wanted me to reschedule. I told them that I had taken off of work and it would be difficult to reschedule and I just wish that they had told me earlier and I wouldn't have come that day. After about five minutes they find a syringe full (weird timing, right?). Then they tell me that the discount listed online isn't the actual price. I just said okay whatever just get it done. So that was really frustrating. So the lady does my lip injections and uses the entire syringe. Two days later my lips aren't swollen and I can tell that my bottom lip wasn't symmetrical. Well since she used the entire syringe I was not about to spend another $600 to get her mistake fixed. At the prior office they kept the remaining product in the syringe in case you wanted to come in after and get anything added to. Unfortunately, I didn't know this lady at Cure was going to use the entire syringe so I felt that they would charge me and try to get me to get more fillers else where if I wanted to get my lip symmetrical. Luckily it's not super noticeable unless you look closely, but it's something that will probably prevent me from going back. My lip still isn't completely symmetrical but in 4 months I'll get them fixed at my prior office. read more

I was a winner of 20 units of free botox from an influencer event hosted at Cure. The staff was super friendly at the event and I loved every minute of it! I was so excited to get botox for the first time(I have received fillers in the past but never botox). When I arrived for my apt the lady providing my service just seemed as if she didn't want to do it, she didn't really have a thorough consultation with me and gave me no ice packs or anything to prep/numb my forehead before being poked. She said that I would only need to purchase 8 more units in addition to the free 20 to cover every area of concern on my forehead. I told her since this was my first time I wanted to see if I liked it before investing in this procedure. I was in and out in 20 minutes or less and have noticed absolutely NO difference in my forehead if anything where she applied the solution it seems to have created two extra creases near my hair line that I had never noticed prior. Im not even sure if this was a botox solution seems like it was saline or something because it literally made no difference at all. its been about a month and a half or so since receiving this treatment and I've been waiting to see if over time i would notice a change but I have not. Unfortunate because I loved this space and location. read more

This is a difficult review to write! The staff and Massage was WONDERFUL!! However, the location could take better advantage of surroundings. Maybe more plants and a water feature on the patio? Perhaps a few more amenities for showering after the service. Also, make sure that music is relaxing and peaceful for the ENTIRE massage. She made me feel so relaxed, didn't even feel the procedure. I have been worried how painful it might be just by watching YouTube videos or speaking with others. I went here a few months ago to get my eyelashes done, and a couple of the stylists got into a huge fight in the middle of the salon and needless to say it was extremely uncomfortable. The woman who did my eyelashes, however, did a good job and while they did not last as long as I would have hoped (they didn't even last two weeks), they looked great while I had them. read more

I went to CURE today for a prenatal massage and facial. I had such a wonderful experience! Everyone I encountered was so friendly and warm. I received a prenatal massages in the past, and they were just mediocre and I could not get comfortable. I saw Sarah for my massage and she was wonderful. I was able to completely relax (which is difficult being 39+ weeks pregnant). I just wish I saw her earlier so I could milk getting more prenatal massages! I then saw Barbara for my facial. It was a calling and relaxing facial. She was wonderful and had a great energy. You could tell they were still trying to fix some hiccups (music in the room, online reservations, thin walls where I could hear clicking of heels, etc.) but they were so minor and did not bother me at all. ti was a wonderful spa and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend. And their outside patio had a spectacular view! read more
