DON'T SLEEP ON THE CABBAGE SOUP & CHEESE FRIES!
    Samantha G.

Refer to previous review and just know they keep getting better and better at Cured & Crafted! New specials all the time! Onion rings and cheese fries cannot be missed. The cheese is not your typical processed cheese and the fries & onion rings are fried in tallow. AMAZING! Owner Mike takes great pride in his restaurant and works so hard to keep this place movin' n' groovin'. Kitchen staff is fantastic no doubt. Don't believe me...come and see for yourselves! You're welcome.

Hot sandwiches have my heart! All the sandwiches here are served hot! Don't sleep on the Lomo Saltado and the Muffuletta! The steak on the Lomo Saltado was tender and loved the aji sauce! Also tried the chimichurri fries, loaded potato wedges, house slaw, and had to run away with a bag of Chicago style hot dog chips. The fries and wedges were magical! I can't wait to go back and try their other sandwiches! I love they have the small hospital like ice cubes. Owner Mike was super nice and love the neighborhood feel of this spot. Free parking lot makes it easy!

Tried Cured & Crafted for the first time and it was excellent. I ordered the Veggies & Such on ciabatta with marinated feta, roasted eggplant, pickled red onions, labneh, arugula, ajvar, and balsamic glaze. It was one of the best vegetarian sandwiches I've had! It's fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without needing any meat. We also tried another Italian-style veggie sandwich and it was just as good. The homemade chipotle mayo on the side was a great addition, and the Woodwright salad was also delicious. The owner himself was there, very kind and welcoming, and took the time to talk with us about the place. The whole atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and you can tell they care about the food and the customer experience. If you're in Jefferson Park or nearby, I highly recommend stopping in. I'll definitely be back.

This place is FANTASTIC and there's bugger all good stuff in Jefferson Park when it comes to lunch so this place is a GEM. First off THE FRIES which are skin on and epic and ALSO come with malt vinegar aioli. The owner should win an award for just this! Next up, the sandwiches. Tasty, fresh and delicious. The Lomo Saltado was our most recent and is beyond good! The soup I've had a few times; delicious. The slaw, also delicious. I could go on.. have had nothing that hasn't been review worthy! Service is also top notch warm local friendly awesomeness.

Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Turkey Etc - turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and bacon on a soft sesame seed bun. I also ordered their homemade onion rings with chipotle mayo. Delicious doesn 't begin to describe it. There are a lot of items to choose from. It may take me a while, but I can see myself eating one of everything their menu has to offer.

Amazing food and service. I placed an online order and everything was ready very timely and everything looked exactly like their pictures. I can't wait to try the entire menu.!!!

One of the best Grilled cheese I've ever had!

THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD!! The service was also so good, they checked up on us every 5 minutes! And the decor, was spectacular! There's a TV and paintings and lots of beautiful art everywhere! There is also music which gives it a really nice vibe! Overall 5 stars!

Fresh crafted excellence. From the moment you walk in you can feel the love for the Midwest from the Chicago and Great Lakes potato chips to the Midwest map art . The food is definitely created for the love of a great sandwich. The onion rings are light and fluffy battered . There's a hardcore foodie leading the way to a great sandwich / salad shop . Whether you want to go with traditional sandwich or go outside your comfort zone and try something different. You definitely will not be disappointed. The soups of the day are homemade and tasty . It's a cashless establishment so bring your credit card/ debit card . You will feel like you're over at your favorite foodie friends house !

Are any fries vegan or vegetarian? I see fried in tallow. Are the onion rings fried in tallow as well?

Our potatoes are fried in tallow. Our onion rings, cheese curds, and mozz sticks are fried in vegetable oil.

Looks great!! How does one see prices?

We popped in here for a quick bite before husband's show in Wrigleyville. It was pretty empty what we arrived and the overall ambiance feels sterile. I got the veggie version of the Little DMK and the Lazy Refresher mocktail. *I ordered fries for us to split, which is when the waitress warned me about the fries. I really appreciated the call out, but was surprised it wasn't on the menu itself. Husband got the patty melt and noted that the beef tasted very peppered. Both burgers were fine. Everything was well prepared, but the fried chicken was the standout, especially with the hot sauce adding another level of flavor. As it happened, the cafe I wanted to check out was mobbed with a line down the street, and my boyfriend expressed wanting a full meal. A quick look at the map confirmed we were close to The Dearborn, and they were opening in about 10 minutes. Perfect. We detoured to view the Chicago Picasso and waited until open to walk in. Upon arrival, there were already several parties waiting to be seated, which is a clear indicator of the restaurant's popularity. We were seated not long after along the row of seated half booths in the room behind the bar. Our server, Melissa, was soooo friendly and lovely. She gave us some suggestions on other spots to visit too. We were both planning on starting with the horchata carajillo cocktail, but Melissa sold me with their brunch punch of the day - pineapple gin, yuzu, raspberry syrup, lemon, and soda water. Both cocktails were incredible, and my boyfriend and I were both buzzing before 11 am haha. *We did also order coffees - their cappuccino was delightful. In terms of food, we decided to start with the croissant monkey bread. As you can see, I took a bite before we even put the sauce on top - it was that irresistible. For potentially the first time ever, my boyfriend and I equally shared a dish. Typically, he eats faster and more than me, but I made sure to keep up - it was way too good to miss out. For my meal, I ordered the four cheese tavern-style pizza (fontina, gruyere, gouda, mozzarella, chives, garlic butter), and my boyfriend selected the fried perch benedict. I tried a bite of his, and it was lovely, but I was more focused on my pizza. To be clear, the pizza is 14 inches and easily could have been shared by both of us. In fact, he did indeed eat all of the leftovers later that night. This was hands down our favorite dining experience during our long weekend in Chicago, and I need to revisit on a future trip to try their famous fish & chips.
