You know, I've never really been a "sweets" person, but a more savory one. But there's something about a Greek zaxaroplasteio (bakery) that is just so satisfying! The aroma of buttery flaky phyllo, cinnamon, chocolate, and more. Thanks to my Chicago friends for introducing me to this wonderful new spot in the Park Ridge area! @zymibakery21 Thank you to Yianni the owner for his filoxenia! Amazingly tasting desserts and baked goods. Very high quality food. The Best tasting Freddo Cappuccino and Espresso.

Upon walking in, you can immediately tell this bakery takes pride in what they do. It smelt like freshly brewed espresso beans, baked goods, and everything was so organized and perfectly placed. Baklava goods rested gently in clear containers and it was clear that everything was baked fresh this morning. I ordered a Greek coffee and it was probably the smoothest I ever had! I loved it and everything about this bakery. It's so cute, aesthetically built for instagram content - even if you're not on social media it is an upbeat cafe with great beans.

    Phenomenal pastries and cakes!

New Greek bakery and wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Zymi Bakery is the best bakery I have ever been to in my life...no exaggeration. The owner, artist and creator is clearly talented. All you have to do to know that is come in and try a few of the delicious pastries, pizzas, breads, cakes, coffees, smoothies and the list goes. There is a huge variety. Hands down the best carrot cake and baklava I've ever tasted. This place is so awesome we're here on Memorial Day chillin' outside, drinking our mocha & frapé, eating our pastries in their beautifully decorated outdoor space...and I am writing this review. Beautiful flowers, succulents & shrubs and the indoor/outdoor sound system with cool dance transforms this right on Milwaukee Ave. space into a chill spot. Come and get your sweet tooth on and than go walk it off. You won't regret it.

Love this place, new Greek bakery on Milwaukee. Great coffee, fantastic pastries just a nice place to come and relax. I like the savory puff pastries filled with cheese and spinach. They also have a selection of lunch sandwiches, haven't tried them but they look great. Ordered my daughters confirmation cake from her, can't wait to see it!

It's located opposite of the cash register and menu. Service was friendly. Washroom (restroom, bathroom search terms) available. Decent amount of seating, serving as a solid space to study or get work done. Black Sesame Matcha Latte - while the black sesame graininess settled at the bottom expectedly, the matcha was clearly whisked well. There were no clumps of bitterness to be found. Despite sugar adjustments, this was still very sweet so I'd classify the spot as more desserty rather than strong matcha or a cafe. Though I'm happy to be proven wrong with their regular matcha in the future.

I wish I was able to travel with one of their cheesecakes but they require refrigeration. Anyhow the cheesecake itself was delicious super light, fluffy, and honestly felt like biting into a cloud. I had the salted egg but they had several flavor options that I would've loved to try if slices were available. The texture is what really stands out, and the flavor was unique and interesting in a good way. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it taste like, but it was sweet, but not too sweet They only sale but I consider a personal size but it's definitely enough to share with two people, maybe even three depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have. My only downside like others is the price. Paying around $19-$20 for a small cheesecake felt a bit steep, especially since they don't offer slices. I really wish they had smaller portions available so you could try different flavors without committing to a full cake prize. They package it very well and they also serve you a cute little fork set and a knife for cutting which I think is contributes to the price. The shop itself is very cute with chic décor and a lot of Asian-inspired artwork, which adds to the overall vibe. Customer service was friendly. When I visit Chicago again I'd definitely go back the texture and taste alone make it worth it but I do hope they consider offering smaller portions in the future.

The taiwanese style popcorn chicken and pork cutlet were super juicy and tender with nicely crisp breading. As we are heading out, my partners sister spots Te'amo! I ask if she's ever had mochi donuts. She hasn't, so of course we must stop in because everyone needs to try them at least once!!! We order at the kiask and patiently wait for our order. We get our order and leave....leaving the bag with the Stanley's behind!!! We don't realize this until we are home (45 mins away)! I immediately call, no answer, call again, no answer. I decide to DM their instagram page and guess what??? THEY HAD THE CUPS!!! Here I was thinking $150 in cups were gone. But they had them!!! A miracle!! 10/10 stars!! Anyway! I highly recommend the brûlée ube milk tea and the ube mochi donuts!!
