Best chicken samich out there!! (I love the Red Line samich, but I forgot to remove the spicy feta.) The juicy grilled chicken was OMG!!! The other diner ordered a Green Line hamburger with ghost peppers and said it was insane. We did order pickle cheese curds and cheese waffle fries cooked in beef tallow. Fantastic!! I did not see the calamari fries on the menu until after we finished our meal. We got those last year and we LOVED them! Place was clean and service was so friendly! Fantastic burger! Gives my In n Out vibes. It's a cool little hole in the wall place, no nonsense, just good food. The guy at the front (which I'm assuming is the owner) took our order and went in the back and cooked up our food. Once I saw that I knew it was going to be good. Bust Outs is great family owned burger joint with great food and customer services. I finally got to try it, someone who's a long time customer has been recommending it. It sports a simple dine in layout similar to most fast food places. Order at counter and they'll bring you the food. The menu is vast, lots of burgers to pick from and each can be substituted with grilled or fried chicken. I got the green line burger w/ added bacon and it was great, nice heat with a good sauce. I really enjoyed it, we tried a veriaty of sides such as waffle frires, seasoned freis and cheese curds. I normally don't like cheese curds but these were really good. The owner's name is Angelo (although he said his wife owns it and he just works there) and he was really helpful and nice. I life the food and the family owned feel of this place . I highly recommend you try the burger. I'm definitely going to go back, next time I'll make sure to take pictures. read more

I really liked this place and have been in their location to eat. However, after going to a street fest this weekend and getting their food, I will never be back. I was charged $55.84 for a burger, tenders, cheese curds, and a coke. When I look on their menu this should have been maybe $30.00 (which is still a lot). I cannot believe they almost doubled their prices and then the food was not as good. I do understand that it is a street festival. But that is an absurd amount of price up. Never again!! read more

Ordered delivery. Merkts burgers, waffle fries and chicken wings. Burgers were delicious though a little heavy on the sauce (if I order again will ask for sauce on the side). Had to throw the waffle fries out ~ too salty, soggy and undercooked. They were crunchy in the middle. Wings were a bit overdone but okay. They are not full wings but just the drumstick portion. The "FIRE" sauce that comes with them was supposed to be cold but they put it on a hot box inside the bag and it separated so much that even after stirring it , would not get smooth so had to toss that too. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight. While there were some misses, it generally was good! I think the problem is that they do not season their beef enough. My dad got an Italian beef which barely had any Italian spices on it. My Brown line burger was ok, but I was expecting more out of the beef. However, my mom got the Brown Line, but with a filled chicken patty. That was better even though it had the same toppings. I think we are going for the chicken sandwiches next time. The Merkts Cheese fries and the garlic cheese curds were excellent. This place is also a little expensive, but that's what it is. So great, everytime! The burgers are delicious, and our kids love the fries and kids meals.

The ambience is nice and simple. Tables along the wall. The same as when Mother Kluckers was there. The staff is very nice. The food is ok. Especially for the price. I read the reviews here on Yelp and on Google review and this place received excellent ratings, so I was really looking forward to trying this place. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. I ordered the Blue Line Burger, it came with blue cheese, balsamic onion jam, and one (tiny) leaf lettuce. This burger was good but not great or anything to rave about. My burger was not juicy it was almost well done. One leaf of lettuce, might as well not even put it on the burger because you can't even taste it or find it, it was so small. We ordered a side of waffle fries with cheese. They were ok. Again nothing extravagance. Just an FYI The blue line burger does not come with any sides. The burger in MY OPINION is not worth the price. I have had way better where I would not hesitate to pay $11.88. But, one not so great experience, will not prevent me in going back and trying there other burgers. Most likely next time I'll just try their regular Burger option and hopefully I'll have a better experience. For I'm hoping it will be. Till next time Foodies! read more

Everything is awesome! Best burgers on the northwest side of Chicago. The Green Line burger is my favorite with its buttery avocado and the spicy kick from the ghost pepper cheese. So I've been here a few times and every single time it's a hit. I really love the location as it is very close to my home. It's really cool to have quality food like this with quality ingredients and you can totally tell that the food is made with love. a while ago they had fried green tomatoes and those were absolutely delicious but I'm guessing it's a seasonal item since it's not on there as I've been there within the last few days. I have eaten there a few times and every single time the service is phenomenal and I always try to try something new so I've basically tried their whole entire menu, my favorite, a fried egg and some of that Merkts cheddar on it. They have really cool names after their food like the green line burger, the blue line, the red line, etc. Their waffle fries add a nice touch to every burger. I feel like they have some thing for everybody there, even salads. The actual restaurant itself is very cozy and probably can sit less than 30 people maximum. Pricing is a little high but for the quality of ingredients, who can blame them? The location has a parking lot and street parking is plenty. This is a great neighborhood gem! Let me start off by saying it was our first time and the owner explained all about the different menu items. That was a nice touch. The ambiance in my humble opinion was super cool! I loved the "L" train line was amazing! From the decor to the different burgers that are based on some of the different L lines in Chicago was super fun! It really made me want to try each line! The garlic cheese curds were bomb! Seriously. Get the curds. The waffles fries were also delicious. The Green Line burger was a nice combination of flavors. When some places say avocado they don't put a lot. Here- there is a nice amount of avocado! The Red Line burger was nice- though when I order again I will try a different line but with the chicken.
