I needed my new ring resized. I had only had it for a few days before taking it into Four Winds to…read morehave it resized. I chose them because they had affordable rates and good reviews, sadly that was not my experience in the end. When I picked up my ring I immediately noticed indents and scuffs all over the ring. It was a flawless white gold band with a gorgeous amethyst stone. I couldn't stop staring at it when I first got it, but now my brand new ring looked tarnished and dull. I asked them if they replaced the rhodium plating that all white gold has, they said that would be extra, it wasn't even initially offered. When I pointed out the dents and scuffs they tried to buff it out but when I got home I couldn't stop staring at my ring and not for the same reasons I had when I first got it. It was dull and had a warmer more yellow tone to it. The bright white gleam was gone and I noticed more flaws in the metal including where they had cut and fused it back together and the band had multiple scratch marks. The rhodium plating is what gives white gold the brighter whiter tone and added strength. It seems odd that it wasn't part of their resizing procedure given that Rhodium has to be replated at least annually as it tends to wear off with wear. One would assume that a decent jeweler would know this and insist on replating the Rhodium as the adjustments and polishing of the ring would take a larger toll on the rhodium. Which is exactly what it looked like when I got it back. I personally dislike yellow gold, but I wanted something more substantial than sterling silver, but now comparing my new ring to my silver one I wear daily I'm saddened that my silver ring is brighter and more white than my new ring. I'm sure this jeweler is good if you want affordable and quick but I let my impatience get the best of me and ended up getting what I paid for. The ring fit great but other than that I'm very disappointed.

By March 2025 (less than 4 months later) the piece put in by their jeweler (to make the ring larger) fell out! Goldmart kind of shrugged their sholders, saying we do not use them anymore for repairs. Goldmart sent their ring to a new jeweler, because they did use their prior jeweler, where to repair the ring would be $350! I had them send my ring back unfixed. I had the ring repaired locally at a different jeweler for $50.

It only takes one bad experience to ruin all the good ones. This one cost me $475.00 and surely when Sandy says, " let me know what I can do to make this up" she sure as hell isn't gonna credit me or give me the money I lost because of their screw up!!!! For our anniversary, my husband bought me a set of diamond earrings many years ago. Every anniversary for 3 years he would trade them in for a bigger diamond earrings set. Fast forward.... Recently we traded in my wedding set because ever since the prongs were redone on my current set and the prongs would get caught and snag things and my clothing. Even after having it sent back to have the prongs smoothed down. When we traded my set in for the new set we had extra credit and decided to purchase a set of 14k gold Diamond earrings as a gift. The Diamond earrings were never given as a gift. So, we decided to trade the 14k gold Diamond earrings and my current white gold earrings in for a nicer set of earrings. Two employees, Karen and another guy could not find my older Diamond earrings in their system. I even told him to ask Sandy the manager she will remember. They kept saying, I didn't buy them there, I had to have purchased them somewhere else. I called back a couple days later and they still couldn't find anything. I wound up selling the newer 14 karat gold diamond earrings on Facebook marketplace and lost money on them. Because I don't wear yellow gold and I could not return them because it was four months after the purchase and there return policy is 30 days. Fast forward.... I was shopping for a set of birth stone earrings for a gift. While in the mall I briefly glanced at Devon's and seen Sandy (the manager) was working. I shared my recent experience with her and and how her employee said I never bought my diamond earrings there. Sandy explained something was going on with their system and found all 3 purchases of my diamond earrings in the system. I shared again how her employees, very adamant about how I did not buy them there. The last pair of diamond earrings she said were in her system as yellow gold, but my earrings are white gold. Same exact size and everything else. I may have had them put in the white gold setting years ago, but it would have been done through Devon's which they should have had a record of that. The following day Sandy called me with all the proof and verified, yes my earring were reset in WG by Devon's. Karen started acting dumb and making faces like she had absolutely no clue what was going on, let alone being any part of it. THAT PISSED ME OFF! So I walked out of the store. To NEVER return again! A bit reluctant, I went back to Devon's and looked at the birthstone earrings. I did not feel good vibes at all and definitely wasn't getting any good deals she offered. I went back in Jan and was met with a very condescending attitude by the male working when I asked about adding sizing beads to my ring. It was clear he did not want to do them and quoted me $200. He was very pushy about me having my bands soldered together and resized (clearly there is some self-serving reason he wanted me to do so based off his attitude and persistence, maybe it voids my ring warranty or something). I do not always wear my rings together. Like the other reviewer, I happily forfeit my warranty by having the beads added for $50 at another jeweler where I'll take my business moving forward. :)

It was something you'd find in the dollar store. Their customer service following the purchase was contrite. I won't bore you with the details of the interactions but they were the opposite of good customer service. I do NOT recommend doing business with them. It was my one and only negative experience on Etsy. I know see they have several complaints with the BBB as well. DO NOT BUY!!!
