They were exactly everything we were looking for and needed--from their professionalism to the way they care for their puppies. One thing that really stood out to us was the emphasis on the parents. We were able to look at all of the parents, which gave us so much confidence. We also reviewed the genetic testing paperwork and AKC paperwork for the parents, which was very important to us--we wanted to make sure we were getting quality, well-bred dogs, and they were completely transparent every step of the way. We spent about two hours there just taking our time, meeting different puppies, and really making sure we found the perfect fit for our family. Not once did we feel rushed or pressured. They were incredibly accommodating, patient, and kind, answering all of our questions and letting us truly enjoy the experience. The puppies were happy, well-socialized, and clearly loved. We got our puppy from Curly Tail Doodles about 3 years ago, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. To this day, he is still the most amazing dog--healthy, well-tempered, and such a joy to have in our family. From the very beginning, everything was incredibly well organized and thoughtful. When we brought him home, he was already potty trained and crate trained, which made the transition so smooth. They truly set both the puppy and the owners up for success. They also provided everything we needed--a crate with nice bedding, leash, collar, food, and water bowls. It felt like a complete starter kit, which made bringing him home stress-free. On top of that, they gave very clear, detailed instructions on how to keep him on a consistent potty-training schedule, which helped us maintain all the good habits he already had. We were also given full genetic testing results, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our puppy was microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed before coming home, so we knew he had the best possible start. You can truly tell how much care, effort, and love goes into raising these puppies. From day one, he was such a sweet, well-balanced puppy--confident, loving, and incredibly smart. What stood out to us the most was how prepared he was when he came home. Lenny was already doing amazing with potty training and crate training, which made the transition so smooth for our family. You could tell he had been raised with so much care, structure, and love. His temperament is absolutely incredible--he's gentle, playful, and so intuitive with people. We couldn't be more in love with our little guy! He is almost a year now and he's already a big part of our family. We could not have asked for a better experience than what we had with Curlytail Doodles! We reached out on a Wednesday and brought our little guy home the following day. Liana (breeder/owner) and her husband, were wonderful to work with. She was very responsive to our questions and it was easy to set up a time to come and meet our newest family member.
