They serve both flights of their whiskey, as well as offer cocktails. I opted to try a flight to try a variety. Some of the whiskey does come off strong (i.e. the Full Proof) and was interesting to try. Surprisingly, the most memorable of the bunch was the Blaze. I'd say it resembles more like Fireball whiskey, except it's much smoother and doesn't taste cheap. I'm not normally a fan of Fireball, but you can easily sit down and try Blaze with friends, and they'll probably enjoy it. The tasting area is very welcoming and cozy, with seats at a small bar, "bistro barrels," some long tables and at least one really comfy sofa. The owners are really knowledgeable and friendly. They're the type of people with whom I'd enjoy sitting down and having a conversation, if they weren't already busy running the place. This was a place where I was surprised that I wasn't fond of the bourbon. The whiskey and rye were more appealing to me. But the big surprise was the honey vodka. I've never been big on vodka or vodka cocktails, and I'd never had one I'd consider sipping. This one I would. Similarly, the gin was very interesting, and this would not be a gin I'd use for traditional cocktails, but would find other options. But this is still a really neat place to visit. I'm a history nerd so I heard much of it before, but it was presented so well that it was a pleasure to hear it again. The sampling tray was fun with a mix of ryes, bourbons, and flavored bourbons. There was a peety flavored bourbon that sounded awful but tasted fine. It had a mild, bourbon / Laphroaig, thing going on; and there was a coffee infused bourbon that sounded good - but wasn't. (At least to me.) I'm not a fan of mixed drinks so, perhaps it would have been perfect in a cocktail but, neat, I wasn't fond of it at all.
