The contractor finished in August, and I wasn't amazed with the quality of the fence; he himself said, "this is the worst wood I ever received from Lowe's". And yet, my fence was put together with the sub-par wood. Fast forward two months later, my gate attached to the fence broke due to the wood splitting exactly where the gate latch attaches to my fence. I called the contractor, as he told me he would guarantee his work for one year. He did not answer, and I was not able to leave a voicemail, so I texted him on 10/17/24. I did not receive a response, so I called VW and spoke to a person, who was sympathetic to my plight, however referred me back to the contractor reiterating that their specialty is vinyl and metal fencing; he did say though, he would try to contact the contractor in person. I heard nothing. I texted the contractor again on 11/14/2024. On 11/18/2024, he responded and said he would stop by on 11/19/2024 to take a look at my fence. He did not show, and he did not contact me. I texted him again on 12/13/2024 again asking for help with my broken gate; he did not respond. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about the amount of money I spent for a brand-new fence, which I am overall not amazed with, and a gate which broke two months later. Nobody seems to care enough to help me. I understand that VW does not specialize in wood fences, however, it would be nice if they stood by the work of the contractor THEY referred me to. And now I likely have to pay someone else to help me. It's beyond upsetting.

They have upgraded my electric gate & taken the time to make sure I understand the system, the new fencing they installed at a commercial property had challenges but without my involvement they solved them & updated me throughout the process regularly so that I knew what was happening the entire time. Again, the care & personal touches they provide are above the normal. I contacted Joe to ask what happened and the response I got was: "I do apologize for the delay. We have a few jobs taking longer than expected. We are off Monday and Tuesday of next week so I was thinking we can be there the week of the 10th? Let me know if this works, if not I will see what I can do"...remind you, this was sent the day AFTER the fence was to be installed. So now, to wait almost 2 more weeks, following an already 5 week wait. If I didn't need this fence installed ASAP, I would have went with another company (but others' current wait times are 2+ weeks). Definitely disappointed with the "Customer Service"... They could have at least offered a discount to compensate.

Recently, however, we met with one of their representatives to discuss a scope of work for our next project and were given a date six weeks out for the estimator to visit and provide an estimate. On that date no one showed up and after calling England we were told they had no record of the appointment. We were then told the next available appointment for an estimate would be another four weeks. In our opinion this represents a complete lack of customer service and we can no longer recommend England Fence.

Clemmer Welding LLC - I have to say that the guys at Clemmer welding did and excellent job on my…read morecar hauler trailer. When I bought the trailer 7 years ago it came with the ramps under the right side of the trailer. They slid in under the trailer on some tracks. 7 years later this became a problem for me and my back. I had to slide each one out, bend way over and pick it up them move around to the back of the trailer and place it in the groove. So I decided to get the ramps permanently moved to the back of the trailer so I would not have to lift them up each time. I contacted Clemmer and got an appointment. The guys were really nice and we discussed what I wanted, then they offered ideas on how to set it up. We finalized our plan and they finished all the work the same day. As you can see from the pics everything is well built and solid. If you have a welding project go top these guys they are great.
