I checked out 5 or 6 companies online that you can order cushion foam from. Cushions Xpress' website provided all the necessary information to help me make my decision on what type of foam I felt would be best for what I needed. I also read all the reviews I could find on them, as I always read reviews before deciding on a company. And although there were a couple negative ones, that is true for all companies. So I placed my order with them Sunday afternoon, May 14 and UPS delivered my foam for 6 couch cushions today, Friday, May 19. That is what I call FAST, especially since my order confirmation stated my order would be shipped in 8 - 10 business days. I have already put them all on my couch to see how they fit and they fit perfectly. They are exactly what I ordered. I did have to take them all back off my couch because now I have to make the cushion covers for them. Trying to decide on fabric now. I definitely recommend Cushions Xpress. read more

This is a tough review to write, because when the large custom cushion I ordered finally arrived, the product exceeded my expectations. Now the hard part - the e-commerce experience was so horrendous I wish I hadn't ever placed the order. The website promises shipment in 4-8 business days. My order took 16 business days, during which not a word from them. The web-site indicated the order "completed" a couple days after being placed, but not true. When I called them to inquire on Day 9, I was told it would ship "early next week", after the rep "checked the warehouse". That didn't happen. On Day 14, I called again, more forceful this time, and was told to wait for a call back that never came. A few hours later I get a notification from UPS that a shipping label was created. The cushion actually shipped on Day 16, arriving Day 18. Not so much the wait - wondering if I'd been scammed. read more

We are SO impressed by the service we received from Cushions Xpress. Firstly, we shop around online for everything, and after several days of digging, it was clear that these guys were less expensive than their competitors, by a significant margin. The ordering process was straightforward, and the customer service ladies were friendly and efficient. Exactly three weeks after we placed our order, five upholstered bench cushions arrived on our doorstep. We are totally blown away by the quality of the work; the cushions are perfect in every way (they actually exceeded our expectations - particularly given the relatively low price we paid). The material is artfully aligned, the seams are strong and subtle, and the heavy foam filling is even better than we had hoped. Pure class. Be very wary of this company. They quote a reasonable delivery time on their website, then take your money and take DOUBLE the time to ship the order. If you are in business to satisfy your clients by meeting deadlines, don t rely on this company for your pillows. Never again will I make this mistake. I called and got a very rude customer service person who said that there was no supervisor in yet to help me (this was noon EST), and that she would have someone call me back within 10 minutes. No one ever called back. I intend to dispute the charge with my credit card company. At this point it is just bad business. Falsely advertising their shipping practices. Their pricing was higher than my regular supplier, but needed to use my AMEX. Next time I will not wait. read more

Ordered very late in the evening on October 01 with special instructions and had my cushions by October 09! The representative from CushionsXpress answered email inquiries quickly and courteously. The cushions fit perfectly! The ties are perfectly placed. I could not be more pleased. I was hesitant about ordering given the mixed reviews, but, I'm so glad I did. I priced out everything to make them myself (without ties and piping - could never do that myself) and the CushionsXpress version was only $25/30 more than DIY....and.....included ties and piping. I ordered a cushion for a very large window seat. Although I was delivered a cushion of excellent quality and exactly what I ordered, I realized that what I had ordered was not exactly to my liking.The owner, Mike Rodriguez, was relentless in making sure that I got exactly what I needed.This involved re-sending various foams and fillers on 3 different occasion over a 30 day period until my window seat cushion sat properly and perfectly in the window seat for which it was designed. For all the reviews regarding slow shipping times and poor customer service, i have to say i disagree. They not only shipped out my cushions the day after i ordered them but customer service was awesome! I called them because i was in the middle of a move and didn't know which address to have them send my package to and they were so helpful and worked with me calling me before they shipped it to make sure it got to the correct address. Also, they answered the phone on the 3rd ring so i wasn't placed on hold. Oh and btw the product was PERFECT. Very high quality work. I am very pleased. read more

Like many others, they not only got my measurements wrong and made the cushion too tall and too "wide," they reversed the numbers and put the batting on the side and not the front. They don't answer the phone. They don't have their chat ever turned on. RUN RUN RUN RUN and do NOT order from here. $135 down the toilet. I have disputed this with my credit card company, who seem to be on the side of this place. Also, my credit card number was stolen after I ordered here and used to make charges in Seminole, FL. Order arrived as expected. Received quick response to email communication. I needed replacement cushion covers for my Frontgate sectional. CushionsXpress was the best value I found and was only marginally more than it would have cost me to make them myself. Delivery was was fast - though it required a direct signature from FedEx - which was the only drawback. After reading all of the reviews, I'm pleased to say "I'm satisfied!" Perfect and priced right. My wife wasted time and energy searching various stores for patio cushions and came up empty. i went online and got it right the 1st time. Decent time from order to delivery and again the price was good. With store bought cushions generally the foam is going to be cheap, not particularly comfortable and wear out quick. When custom ordering I choose the foam I wanted that still has cushioning available when sitting on it ( you don't completely collapse the foam with body weight). Nice job CushionXpress read more

However they beat my expectations by completing a custom order in 8 days after estimating it would take 10-15, and then delivering it 3 days earlier than predicted. The 2 custom cushions were difficult shape, they worked from my patterns...every one fit perfect, and they arrived 6 days early. Some more than the total cost of the chair the cushion belongs too.
