DO NOT GO HERE! PLEASE READ! Cushman damaged my truck while there for 3 weeks for a simple rear bumper claim through nationwide. I received my car back with small scratches on the whole passenger side of my car, scratches on my new chrome bumper, a chipped tail light, and a few paint chips missing. The shop was extremely rude to me and my family member when calling to ask what had happened. They tried to blame me for these damages but were caught when we asked for the photos at drop off that they took. After further investigation and realizing these damages were not previously on my truck, Cushman's did offer to try and buff the scratches out or paint the whole passenger side of my truck. I expressed multiple times there is no way I will be bringing my truck back to a shop that was rude, dismissive, and careless. I asked them to pay for a detailer who specializes in these scratches and to replace my new bumper-which I could put on myself. If they agreed to do this, I would not be writing this review. They told me they would not pay for a detailer to fix these damages and to call nationwide if I have a problem. So currently I am working with nationwide to get my truck fixed... AGAIN. I have yet to speak to a shop manager. I'm so upset that I got caught up with this shop just to have a simple rear bumper replaced. Now I have body damage on my truck and I will have to come out of pocket to fix it. read more

This is my second time having had to get my car worked on since living here. Both times I've been met with great customer service and quick turnaround for repair. Marlow is the adjuster I've had dealings with on both occasions and he was very helpful and called to give me updates each day as to where they were with my car and when I should expect it back. USAA has them as a preferred shop for insurance claims. In my mind they are doing something right when they are the number one preferred shop in Augusta. If you have a fender bender then check them out. read more

If you value your time, I would strongly recommend avoiding this shop. Turn around time for repairing dents/scrapes to two doors was estimated at two weeks. Four weeks later, here I am sitting in the lobby at 545pm waiting for the vehicle. They said it'd be ready by 5, but I'm just content with knowing this is the last hour of my time these people will ever be able to waste. They'll tell you that they will call you with status updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Expect one or none of those. If you call in and talk to the estimator, prepare for defensiveness and an argument. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! My wife and I took the car here and lets just say they were weeks late on returning it. When we finally got the car back the car was pulling severely to the right, the driver side was making this bubbling sound and the heater wasn't working. We take the car back and they hold it for a day and when we got the car back a second time nothing was changed. So we take it back a 3rd time and guess what we are experiencing the same problems as before. All we experienced was lie after lie. The best lie was that it was currently with the mechanic and so I drive by and guess what, its sitting in the same place it was when we dropped it off. We encountered one lie after another. It was the worst experience I have ever had. This place is HORRIBLE! The people are unprofessional. I was in the office with my wife when a lady said "I can't help them I have to get my kids". This place is a joke. Taking my car here was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. Just to add, if you have Progressive this is one of their preferred / recommend businesses. WHO CARES! I needed body work on the right rear fender of my car, to include paint. I was assured it'd be done in a couple weeks. Ok, too easy right? Well, week after week, after week, of the same status, something always came up, from workers had quit, to it needed a second opinion, and numerous repeated statements it's at the same stage in the work process.. It took almost 2 months to get my car back. 2 whole months. Although I cannot say anything bad about the work that was done, the fact it took an eternity to complete, without any real justification, I would not recommend taking your vehicle here, nor will I return. Judging by the reviews, I'm not the only one that had issues with them taking way longer than what they claim. read more

The worst customer service imaginable. It took them two months to replace the front bumper on my car. When I'd call to find out what was taking so long the estimator would become defensive and verbally aggressive. Dealing with the manager didn't help. He was repetitive and unapologetic. When I finally did get my car back, the light wasn't placed within the bumper correctly and a part that held my hood rod in place was missing. These people do sloppy work at a slow pace. They offered to replace the piece and readjust the light. I can only imagine how long that would take them. No thanks. I'm never going back to them again. read more

The only positive things I can say about this place are that they return your vehicle on time and washed/clean. I have brought my truck here twice. The first one was for a front bumper in which they put on lopsided. The next time was for a tail gate and rear bumper and to fix the shoddy front bumper. They never fixed the front bumper, the rear bumper is hanging far too low and while I was driving my tail gate detached. I will not recommend this place to anyone as they obviously did not check their work either time. read more

I had significant rear end damage to my sedan and made the mistake of taking it here instead of waiting a week for my preferred shop (Kendricks) because they said they could take it right away. This was two weeks before Christmas. My trunk and bumper plus a few small components needed to be replaced. Over a month later, I finally get my car back. This is after I get charged a chunk of money for a rental car since they didn't finish the work in time. I worked with both them and the rental company for a week to resolve this and get my money back but they kept blaming each other for the problem without actually doing anything. So when I get home and start playing with my trunk to make sure everything is ok, I notice it doesn't close as easily as it used too. Prior to the accident, you could barely push it with your pinky and it would shut. Not anymore. It also doesn't seem lined up perfectly. Everything back there was supposed to be replaced but they left the little "U" shaped piece that my trunk actually latched onto, and it is not straight. I know this because that piece looks beat up. I assume this is part of the closing problem. On top of all this, there are little black spots all over the headliner (what I'm assuming and what I told them was probably dip spit), sunflower seeds on my front floor mat, and it seems like I had less gas than before. So I take it back and explain the trunk problem to them and get treated like I'm a 13yr old girl who knows nothing about cars. "You have to apply force to close a trunk lid." NO S**T SHERLOCK. I explained maybe you have to apply this much force for every other make of car for the trunk to close, but mine closed before very very easily. I don't care if it still closes, it's, not the way it was. I also told him some things weren't lining up. He didn't agree but they took it back and "made some adjustments." It did line up a little better, but not like it should. I've even parked next to my bosses identical car and taken pictures proving the difference. I gave them a negative review with Allstate and this is all they were concerned about. The guy who handled my car wanted me to go talk with him about it outside. I explained why I gave it and he felt like I shouldn't have. He said his employees would never use dip in a car, eat in a car, drive it, etc. I said the evidence tells me otherwise. I will never go there again or recommend it. I took a trip a few months later and drove through a really bad storm and guess what, wet luggage. These guys are typical Augusta arrogant hillbillys who think polo shirts give them class. read more

I had used Kendricks before and their service/workmanship was ok/good, but unfortunately I tried Cushman's. Their initial promise of completing work on the car was 5 days. It is now over 15! Quality Poor, Customer Service non-existent. They lie in order to make themselves seem great, Geico has dropped them for many reasons. Their promise is to get the job done right the first time, but if they don't there is always the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th... Etc. I should have known something was up when it took a week longer because of added damages to get the adjuster in.. They Cushman's was either too lazy or incompetent to more quick enough. The owners cannot be contacted. There are several BBB claim against them, unanswered. This is not one isolated incident, this is how they do business - Watch out, it not only takes long, but I still have quality issues. Since Cushmans did not respond I finally ended up a Kendricks, who uninstalled everything that Cushmans put in... Findings... 1. Welded brackets off center which pushed the entire radiator assembly right 2. Forgot an o ring, loss of refrigerant 3. Right side unaligned, panels off 4. Rear panel bracket bent.
