Went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and brake fluid flush. Come to find out I didn't need a flush even though the computer told me to do so. But the mechanic advised that a 20k mile vehicle does not need one and the fluid in it now is still brand new. They weren't the quickest but they performed the oil change correctly and kept me car running. Definitely will be returning. They are honest and very down to earth. They could've did the flush and charged me for it but chose to be honest. Will be returning for my truck to be serviced as well! read more

Had my Chevy in for a crank relearn, 6.0 Chevy gas check engine light flashes at highway speed, a common symptom for an experienced mechanic to recognize the issue. Well computer told them multiple misfires etc in spite of the truck running smooth. After 2 hours of the "mechanic" ehm.. remapping plugs to the wrong gap and insisting it was correct he managed to put 3 plugs in gapped .20 different than what the rest were, truck was still flashing code at highway speed and engine analyzer still reading multiple codes, finally after an hour and a half I asked if he did the relearn crank, a 15 minute task, he hadn't, I told him nicely to do it, he finally did and codes were better but not all gone, I paid and drove my truck home with a severe misfire, I regapped 2 of the plugs to the correct spec and had to replace the 3rd plug as he broke the core. The truck returned to running smoothly and the highway check engine flashing ceased. Had he simply had more knowledge and less reliance on plug and play it would have saved me time and money. Consumers should never pay for inexperience with either time or money. The folks there are nice enough so I took my new truck there for an alignment... I had to bring the required parts or they would have had to order them and since I was scheduled to be out of state with the truck they had an opening on a Friday after lunchtime. F-150s are not adjustable without replacing the factory lower control arm bolts. I bought the parts , they had difficulty doing the alignment ... "several techs are working on it" , after 2 + hours the truck was ready, I was given a sheet to sign off that the alignment was "within" specs. I've learned since then that that's meaningless. The truck has a light pull to the left and you can visually see the driver side front wheel camber is slightly off, today I went under the truck and found that on the passenger side the 2 bolt kit was installed correctly, on the driver side they only installed half of the kit and put the stock bolt back in. I never received the portion of the new kit that was NOT installed nor the bolts that came with the truck. I think between both experiences I'd recommend you go elsewhere. read more

in November of last year I took my 2016 Audi Q 3 in to be serviced due to the check engine light coming to and the truck misfiring. the code the part store got one the truck was P0304 misfire cylinder 4. my husband first changed the spark plug and then the coil pack, the problem persisted so we took it to Beacon Automotive for service. My husband was instructed to move the replaced plug to another spot, a switch with another plug, he did that in the parking lot with tools they provided. They reset the check engine light and we went on our way. When the check engine light came back on I took it back and left it this time. They contacted me with the same code or diagnosis as the code we got from the part store. Cylinder 4 misfiring so the injector needed replacing. I was advised to change out all 4 injectors because if another injector went bad, the labor cost would be the same. Trusting that opinion I did so. Picked my truck up the first time on 11/29/23, paid 1391.57. The still doing the same same thing, check engine light comes back! I called and let that be known and was told to bring the truck back for a look over, I was told they cleaned carbon out of the motor and something with gas in or around the injector, done at no cost to me. Pick the truck up and I noticed it would idle really hard when the truck came to a stop. About a week later the light is back on for the same thing! Took it back a third time the week before, picked it up about 3 days later the Friday before the new year. When I started my the vehicle the the check engine light was flashing! Went inside to get someone to see that going on but it had stopped by time we got back out to the truck. Since then the light flashes every time I start my truck! It was only doing periodically when the truck was cold when the problem first started, never upon starting the vehicle! Truck runs horrible now, its not the same, its still misfiring, check engine light still on, it becomes solid after it flashes and stays on. I filed a complaint with The BBB and requested a refund, but that didn't happen, they want me to keep bringing the truck for them to guess and experiment on! I have an appointment with Audi of Augusta on February 19, that's the earliest they could get to me, 420 for their diagnostic on top of paying a second time to have fixed what I already paid Beacon to fix plus anything additional that maybe causing the light to flash upon starting the vehicle! My truck and situation is now worse off than what it was before taking it to a service center that I don't think was equipped to do the correct repairs to begin with! They have made my truck worse and are not willing to accept responsibility for it. 1391.57 is what I was charged to fix the problem but I'm worse off. How much am I going to have to pay Audi to repair what was done there! Never again will I patron that business! Are they goin to help me pay Audi for what I paid them for. 3 failed attempts, my tuck is worse than it was before I took it there with the initial problem! Laura Green!!!!! read more

I brought my car in for troubleshooting for two issues. Replacement parts had to be purchased to resolve both problems, per the big guy at the front counter, however the issues remain. He can talk the talk, but seek second opinion elsewhere. I could go on about other issues but I'll spare you the time and advise against using this business. I recommend the following but not in specific order; ATC in Grovetown, Christian Brothers in Evans, or C&C in Augusta. I could not have found a better place to take my car. I was given the reassurance that I needed to feel safe driving my car around after the dealership responsible for initially fixing it failed miserably thanks to Beacon. I was able to get an oil change after 5pm due to a confusion with the closing time online, and the association was willing to stay later to make sure it got done. A week later, my brother-in-law's car broke down during Thanksgiving. My family was from out of town, and gratefully able to come back the following week.
