Such a cute mom-and-pop shop in the cutest area of Hastings. The woman helping me was the absolute sweetest (possibly the owner?). She let me know this year they are celebrating 5 years.... So exciting. They also offer a great selection of candy and it was fun taking a walk down memory lane with all the nostalgic treats from childhood. And the smell when you walk in... talk about popcorn heaven! They have different sizes and flavors of popcorn. Popcorn is bagged right in front of you and you are able to mix and match flavors. I went with the classic butter and YUMMMMOOOO! I couldn't stop eating this stuff. There were so many buttery pieces. Seriously, buttery perfection with just the right amount of salt. I will definitely make the trip back here again and that could be very soon because my popcorn is already gone.

Of course you can mix these to make your favorite mix. As I walked in, the caramel corn was just being finished and it smelled heavenly inside the store. Yum, fresh caramel corn!! If popcorn is not your thing, there is a good assortment of vintage candy - Turkish taffy, Necco wafers, Charleston Chew, Skybar, etc. Also a great selection of chocolate, even some boozy options! There is a good assortment stuffed into such a small store. Worth stepping in and checking out especially if you are enjoying a walk by the river or looking through the local antique stores. The counter wraps all the way around, providing more room for making and buying candy and snatching some fudge samples. Some of my favorite items: the salt water taffy (don't come at me -- salt water taffy is delightful!), chocolate covered Oreos, candy bark, Jelly Belly's and so many types of fudge. You still have to use cash only -- no credit cards. Thankfully my husband on our most recent visit had some cash on hand. I'm also excited that my kids are getting old enough to get excited about visiting and picking out some select pieces for themselves. They also liked to watch the candy being made in front of them. Tremblay's is also great for food gifts to bring home. Hayward isn't Hayward without Tremblay's!

Wow! More here then what is advertised online! The physical shop offers a full service coffee bar…read moreserving varying espresso drinks, teas and even breakfast sandwiches. There is also a smaller deli section where pre.made sandwiches, salads and pasta salad can be purchased along with a full service ice cream section. While cheese is the #1 item, there are tons of sides and even great gift items such as homemade candles and soaps. Some of my favorite unique items included the protein peanut butter balls, string cheese, sweet potato chips, kettle corn and lemonade. The ambiance is totally clean and large and would make for a good spot for computer work. I look forward to my return!
