I ONLY wanted the rat boxes done and repeatedly stated to the company that did not want chemicals sprayed around the house. I would tell the workers this the day before to remind them and they still could not follow that simple instruction. Less work right? So, they screwed up many times. The final time was December with another new guy showed up the day after I reminded him, in writing, not to spray chemicals. Guess what, they showed up the next day WITH A SUPERVISOR, and proceeded to spray chemicals all around my house. They also put GLUE traps in my crawl space without asking and I never would have authorized that. I decided to cancel my contract AFTER that and called the company running the comcast-like gauntlet of 'what if we gave you this or that credit'. I declined and asked to cancel and they removed my credit card. I was not informed of any remaining balance. After that, they sent me a bill for the service that they once again screwed up. Keep in mind I paid full price to these guys for years just to have the rat boxes done so I was grossly overpaying and they got way more out of me than they put in. I called them to dispute the bill, they said they would call me back after running up the chain. They didn't. Instead they insist I owe them money for a SERVICE THEY CONTINUALLY SCREWED UP. He said he would be back Saturday with the correct traps as he was there to "bid" a crawl space clean out, not address the current contract of getting rid of the rodent/s. No call no show Saturday. I called the front office Monday to confirm they would be bringing the correct traps out and to set a new day. She said someone was coming out today/Monday- even tho no one scheduled that with me. Needless to say, by the time they did come back out to address the original contract, they removed all but one outside trap. Then that technician insisted on coming over to check the trap on a day I wouldn't be home. I asked him to come by on a day I am home as I am not comfortable with people being at my property/house when I am not. He said he will just get permission from the landlord since she paid the bill. Why would a person/company not respect such a simple request? I feel awful that my landlord paid this amount of money for literally nothing but a headache. They negotiated the price so it was what you get when you have a knock on the door and not what you get when a sales person comes to the door. Very reasonable. They did the first spray and we immediately noticed less of the stupid black flies that were by both doors. After 30 days they come do another spray to break the egg cycle and every single one of the flies is gone. they are pleasant when they come, very efficient and well worth the cost. they treat the entire yard so you really do get rid of the critters.

I went ahead and filled the holes myself and made sure to stain and seal it this time. The initial assigned person promised how their bait and strategy is advanced and even have a entire village built to test the poison bait, DO NOT TRUST any of that. I paid $100/month not including several hundreds of dollars in the initial service, all they did is come and replace bait station, when asked to do more to put it under control, the only thing they did is to put snap trap inside the station, nothing more after that. they killed probably 6(visible ones) or so rodents through half year of service, i did that myself within a week with snap trap and poison. Then winter came, the rodent activity got worse, got like 8 rat holes and a collapsed stone tiles. And i told them i saw a rat peaking outside the hole the other day, and the onsite dude told me it could be anything, and if i don't take a picture of it, they wouldn't trust what i said. i mean i subscribed them for the exact service and there are holes all over a corner of my fence, do i look like i subscribed and paid $100/month for fun? Most of all, this is no way to talk to a customer, it takes years to build a trust, and only 1 second to destroy. I was willing to give them 1-2 month to give them one more try, but the dude just told me i should cancel it which i did. and the dude ended up taking away all my bait stations, including ones i owned myself, i thought i paid hundred of dollars in the initial service to get those bait station and baits and $100 per month for those. This is a company that you pay money to them for a service, and they spend more time telling you what you need to do than do it them.
