Art and his teamember who came out with him did a great job. I called and spoke to Art about a wasp nest I had about 2 stories up in a tree in our backyard. He told me he could come out in a few hours that same day and for a very reasonable price to remove it. I had called several other places before and aria environmental had the best deal. So they came out on time, very polite, and only came through the side gate to come to the backyard to be sure the wasps wouldn't get into our house. Upon inspecting it they found out they were actually hornets and that there was also a small paper wasp nest near our shed. I am so glad they found that one too, we has no idea. They sprayed and removed both nests very quickly and did a great job. And only charged me for the one nest that I told him about over the phone! Great service, quick, friendly/professional and they will be my go to for any pest problem I have from now on. 3-4 days later and I haven't seen those wasps/hornets since. I had an appointment for 8-9am on 6/26, which I made approximately 2 weeks prior. I received a call from the technician at 830am yesterday stating that his truck had experienced a flat tire and needed to be towed, and as such he couldn't make the appointment but once back at the shop he would call me and let me know if he could come out later in the day or reschedule the appointment. I was understanding (I mean, what could he do?) and told him to call me later and let me know. I have not heard from anyone since that 830am phone call Monday. I tried to call the business number Tuesday and the mailbox is full and not taking messages. I private messaged the business yesterday evening on Facebook requesting an explanation, giving them the chance to explain or get back to me before I posted the review. No response. None. So, bottom line is that Aria is busy enough that they don't need any new customers apparently. Unprofessional. Unbelievable. read more

Andrew arrived at our house the very next day after we called him to remove squirrels in our attic. He then scheduled to come the following Saturday and he did a fantastic job blocking all of the squirrel access points and removing three squirrels! The nutshell version: We've had Aria Environmental out to fix several different problems at our house, and would give them six stars if we could. Andrew and Art are committed to fixing pest problems long-term, not just killing the current pests you've got. And, they have the knowledge, skills, and integrity to back it up. We no longer have a problem with mice or wood boring beetles, and the damage we had from moisture ants before we knew about Aria is now taken care of, with a preventive treatment in case the ants think about coming back. If you have pests, this is the company you want to take care of your home. Our stories: Mice - We had a nasty problem with mice, and the traps I set weren't effective in getting rid of them. Andrew and Art did a thorough evaluation of our house, which turned out to have zillions of entry places for mice all around the house. The worst was our crawl space, a freeway system of tunnels the darn critters had made. Other pest control companies have told me, "You will always have a problem with mice because you live in the woods," but Andrew and Art sealed the entry points, completely cleaned out and reinsulated the crawl space and installed a new vapor barrier, and we haven't had a mouse in the house since! (They also pointed out a leak into the crawlspace coming from the bathtub, which I never would have known about and gotten fixed if it weren't for them.) Making our house mouse-free turned out to be a much bigger and more time-consuming project than anticipated (as pretty much all projects at that house have been), but Andrew kept coming back to check and make sure the job was really done right. Wood-boring Beetles - Several pest people identified the bugs on our front porch eaves to be parasitic wasps and told me, "They're good bugs - they eat other bugs, so don't worry about them." Andrew, though, had the insight to look into the holes in the board to see WHAT the parasitic wasps were going after. It turned out to be wood-boring beetles. We talked through our options, and ended up having Andrew remove the affected board and replace it with a new one. He even repainted it for us so it matched the rest of the porch (and did a better job than the professional painters who had recently come, I might add). Problem solved. Moisture Ants - I wish we'd known about Aria Environmental last summer when we had thousands of moisture ants and flies coming into our bedroom (yes, that WAS totally creepy). I got rid of them with a nasty spray, but we knew the problem wasn't solved. When we finally got around to having the windowsill removed this spring, there were lots of dead ants and flies, and rot from moisture between the windowsill and the floor. Andrew again helped problem-solve, even making time in his afternoon to come do a boric acid compound treatment on the remaining boards and the replacement boards for the windowsill and frame. It was a time-sensitive project for us, and we really appreciated that his rapid response kept us on target. read more

We had been live trapping them for a while but they kept coming back in, so we asked for Aria's help and he delivered. He quickly evaluated our crawlspace, garage, and outside for entry points, gave a reasonable cost, sealed the inside and outside within hours, and was great and personable to boot. I have no idea how good this company is, but I can attest that their communication skills are absent. I first called them a couple of weeks ago to set up an appointment. When Art finally called, it was to tell me he had something come up and asked that I call him on Friday. Which I did, but he never returned my voice message. He got around to calling me later the following week and actually came to assess my rat situation. He gave a verbal, ballpark estimate and said that he wouldn't actually be able to start on the project until the week after next. I gave him my e-mail address and asked him to send his estimate to me in writing. It's been two weeks, and I haven't received any e-mail. Or a phone call. What kind of way is that to run a business? If you can't do the job, if you don't want to do the job, fine. Just don't say you can and will and then just blow a potential customer off. read more

The home inspector for a refinance told me that I had a rat problem so I called Aria to come in and do an assessment/provide a quote to get rid of them. The young guy that came by and examined some droppings, looked around and told me that the inspector was mistaken. The droppings were from "pill bugs". Called on a Friday afternoon and he apologized to me that he couldn't get out to me that Saturday. He came out as promised, on time, assessed the situation. Art and his guys are amazing. We had a mice problem at our brand new house in Sammamish where they were stealing rice, seeds and dog food from within the house. My husband and I were shocked at how they could possibly come in our brand new home. We had no idea what to do so we got on yelp and looked for pest control. When he came he did a full assessment of the house and gave us a quote for what the work would cost. I've been waiting to write this review to make sure I was giving good information. We had a major ant problem last year. They were coming in from the kitchen and the living room, EVERYWHERE. I tried to kill them with all the DIY ideas I found online and they would work for a day or so but then they would come back. Aria environmental came out in April and we have not seen an ant since. He was so fast, and actually fit me in on a Saturday when he was in the area. We have a dog and the chemicals he uses were safe for our pup once they dried. Two weeks ago we began to hear noises within the wall of our living room. Needless to say, this was not a typical occurrence. I proceeded to check reviews online for local pest control companies and this is how I came upon Aria Environmental. I got a return call right away after I had left a message explaining our situation. Art clearly explained my options and the likely course of action, including a rough price estimate. I never felt pressured, coerced into monthly treatment or conned into services I didn't need. This experience with Aria was vastly different from my experience with another local company 8 years ago. Art and his crew systematically worked to prevent further animal invasions which should have been done (and was promised) by the company I worked with 8 years ago. Aria works on the very logical principle of exclusion rather than simply trapping the invader and still leaving all openings there for future invaders to get through. In our case, we had several dormers in our roof that were open, leaving us vulnerable to potential pests such as rats, mice, squirrels, raccoons, birds, etc. I could not be more pleased with the way this company works efficiently, preventatively and with integrity.
