Along the way, they kept me apprised of each update, from parts arrival to paint and detailing completion. I don't want to *have* to go back to a body shop, but if I ever do, Ken's is at the top of my list.

I did have to go to Romano Ford to get the key after the first 2 places they sent me couldn't do it, but TecForce covered the bill. The Warranty has a $100 deductible however they waive the deductible if you have the repair done there; but what they don't tell you is it can take 3 weeks to get an appointment, however if you can drop the car off they can probably get to it that day; About 6 months later the A/C stopped working on the hottest day of the summer; so I dropped the car off early in the morning, they diagnosed the issue in the afternoon (leaky compressor) and got the part / fixed it the next day. The repair would have cost over $1,100 but Advantage Care covered it. The repair manager seemed completely competent to me, there wasn't a question he couldn't answer and the repair went well. Will probably buy another car there.

And since it sat for a while, we also asked them to check the battery and maybe jump-start it. These guys came back claiming that we needed a new battery AND a new starter! We decided to get a second opinion, because the starter was actually fairly new. So, we had AAA come out. But before towing it, the AAA guy tried jump-starting it first. It was almost comical the way it started right up. ... with a supposed bad starter!!! Needless to say, we brought it somewhere else who fixed the leaky oil and replaced the battery. We will never do business here again, nor will we ever recommend them, because they evidently thought they could make an easy buck doing unnecessary work for someone they assumed wouldn't know any better. They probably didn't even look at the car and charged us $80+ for a "diagnostic". Ugh... This place is incompetent, sexist, ageist, dishonest, and unethical.

I chose to go with Murphy's and there was a slight issue with getting my transfer case oil changed, but in the end I was glad that the mechanic did not put in the wrong fluid, and instead waited until the OEM-specified fluid was available the following week. I was very grateful that the wrong fluid was not used, despite the delay. However, when we returned we waited with the vehicle for the transfer case to be done which took ~45 minutes, just as promised. In the end, I saved ~$500 and now have confidence in another local shop that will do things correctly, even if it isn't convenient.

They have had plenty of opportunity to make me pay for unneeded work and have always been honest about what actually needed to be fixed. Recently, they figured out what was making my jeep run rough. Turned out a rather large and popular after market shop in Syracuse that installed my lift kit and oversized tires did not do so properly! Jeep runs better than it did when it was new! And this is only one of many examples I could give!!! You're crazy if you don't use this shop for maintenance and major repairs!

Charlie came up to me and I could tell on his face he had not so good news. Come to find out my front tires needed replacement, thus no inspection sticker. Unfortunately I didn't have it. Not only did he go ahead and order the tires upon my request but he also trusted me to return once my State refund had come in. On 3-25-19 I returned and Charlie replaced my tires and after all was said and done the total came to $287.76. He looked up at me and said, was that what I had told you it would be? I said no actually it was $321.00. He smiled and said you just got a deal. What an awesome experience and facility with honest hard working gentlemen that know how to treat their customers.
