She called me and asked about it, and I told her that her windshield wipers were fine because I just checked them since we recently had snow. (Also, I was using her car during the snowstorm using the windshield wipers quite extensively the week before. ). But since he was only charging $20, I told her to go ahead and let him do it since that's a pretty good price. When she went to pay at the register, he said it was $20 each windshield wiper! Again, the windshield wipers were fine. They were not torn, they were not leaving any streaks, nothing. Total rip off. He was obviously taking advantage of a young girl.

Let me be clear, 99% of what I am saying is from my experience with having to deal with Christy. She is horrible to the point it has just gotten ridiculous. The last time I was in there I was just getting three tires replaced. I have a warranty on them, but I am forced to get them replaced at the dealership. So, I went in to get three tires replaced. three hours later Christy comes out and says, "It's going to be $2,500 to do the work on your car." Then she shows me that they did a multi-point inspection (by the way my car passed their inspection). I said, "Who told you to do all this work? All she said was, "Well, we will have to schedule you to come in to get the work done." I then said I came in for tires. They are warrantied. Do the tires and I will have my mechanic look at the rest of the car. This is when she says, "Oh well then we won't warranty your tires." She also, while telling me all the things supposedly wrong with my car, showed me pictures of the air filters. They had leaves and were pretty dirty. The funny thing is I had just done a service on the car and replaced all the filters including the air filters. I have taken my car to my mechanic, and he said there is nothing wrong with the car except for the three tires that still need replacing!!! Fire Christy before she gets you sued! And please let the door hit her on the way out!

They had two guys replace the awning that were just visiting the dealership that day, needless to say, they had never done it before. After supposedly cleaning it, found mud dobber nest in the kitchen vent. Just recently found where they had damaged my electrical hook up wire, taped it up & pushed it back in to trailer without saying a word. What a joke, very dishonest, beware!

What are the chances I would find such a friendly and knowledgeable, fully certified master mechanic while passing through Amherst, VA? It was an unbelievable blessing! My "check engine" indicator light came on while driving to Atlanta. The message said, "Check AWS system." I quickly reviewed my manual, but it only said to pull over and have a garage or Toyota shop read the car's computer. I was worried and had no idea if I could find an open garage on a weekday afternoon or one that could diagnose our problem quickly. Therefore, I looked for garages AND hotels near Amherst because I needed to figure out how long we would be stranded. Amazingly, I found Amherst Garage located nearby, and even more amazingly, they were available to help. Rick plugged in the diagnostic reader to the car's computer. It lit up like a Christmas tree. All indicators pointed to a battery problem, and again, we were fortunate that Rick had the correct battery for my old 2015 Toyota Highlander in stock. The price of the battery and service were very reasonable, and the friendly service from Rick and LC cannot be surpassed. I learned so much that day. He and LC told us everything we needed to know to get another 100K miles out of that car. They made a very stressful experience enjoyable, and I am sincerely grateful.
