This little store is tucked away in an older strip mall location in Simi. Its not very big, but…read morewhen I was in last, they had a varied amount of stuff, including embellishments. They pride themselves on the super fancy crop area. Super comfy chairs and plenty of work space. They had some sort of cutter gizmo in the back they showed me, I think it was something like a Cricut type machine, only fancier and high tech. The two guys who own the shop (the EBB) used to engineers I think, one of the guys was showing me a greeting card technique they came up with, but was puzzled as to why the ladies aren't all jumping to sign up for his class (I'd venture to guess the local ladies would rather just make a 'pretty' card than engineer one!). I also got an earful about scrapbook store gossip from him, some bizzare tale about his former design team turning on him or something. I left there a little puzzled and sad, because I think these guys have all their hearts into this place, but sadly, are missing the mark. The guy I spoke to wants an artsy attitudey store but the ladies in Simi aren't buying into that I think. He waved his hand at the local Joanne's for them to get their 'themed' stickers at, but you know, I think that's where they are actually going. I personally love the artsy stuff, but you better have the people working for you with the talents to showcase it and sell for ya.

From the moment I spoke to him, he was attentive and followed through on everything he said. He showed up on time and kept in constant communication w/ me over the course of 3 days while we trouble shot the issues we were having with one of our main machines.
