When you enter the store hit the ring button so they can buzz you in so the dogs don't accidentally slip out. The owner was super nice and let me know he was available to help but left me to shop at will. I have been to a lot of gift stores but this is my favorite. Forgot your bathing suit? No problem, they have you covered literally. Need a shirt that proclaims you have been to Ft. Lauderdale? They have many sizes, colors, and styles to choose from. Don't forget that Christmas ornament so when you are back in winter you can remember those sun shiny days. Other items they sell include, shoes, toys, clothes, sunscreen, floats, towels, beach themed decorations, key chains, magnets, home goods, and just about anything else you can think of related to souvenirs and beach gear. There are a number of plant nurseries on this stretch of Flamingo road and this one is rooted in the Japanese and Chinese style of gardens also known as Zen gardens which are characterized by their minimalist style and rock-and-gravel plant beds. Zensation Gardens sells handmade concrete fountains and sculptures from Bali, an interesting selection of bonsai trees, and indoor and outdoor plants that include bamboo, palm trees, gardenias, orchids, and colorful bougainvillea. They also sell artificial grass and offer landscaping design and installations, and LED lighting for your garden. Follow them on Facebook for dates for their beginner bonsai class. We have had a lot of work done, from removal of popcorn ceilings, to retexturing ceilings, paint entire interior, demolition of walls and built-in furniture, new improved lighting, new master bath, plus guest bath and half bath suites, and even removal of ALL flooring (tile and carpets) and installation of new 32" tiles. Every contractor was on time, professional, clean, wore masks throughout the pandemic, and simply cared about their job.
