She's good at listening to understand what customers want, and delivering exactly what was spoken about. Kim, another FastFrame rep, was also super helpful. She got a massive frame into our car with millimeters to spare. The frame selection is solid. Something for everyone. Even the in-stock selection is tasteful and offers a variety of applications. One of the things I like about this store is the rotating selection of framed art, entirely local. On the positive, we…read moreworked with Janis to select matting and frame materials for a piece of original artwork, and I am pleased with those. Now to the negatives: Janis set the time for completing the work, something like 5 weeks and I was okay with that, but then when the week arrived she said she 'hoped' to have it done by the end of the week, but then did not complete it. (no it was not supply chain issues, it was her). She had it ready the following week. This business is a single proprietor and she closes the shop for extended periods for family visits, etc. So speed is not her strength. More importantly, I ordered and paid for museum glass, and yet when I hung it at home it had terrible reflections and glare from all angles. I finally took it to a frame shop closer to home (Lone Tree is about 35 minutes from my home) and they quickly noted that it was conservation glass, not museum glass. I had them replace it with museum glass and the difference is huge. So in conclusion, nice woman, good taste, slow worker, and makes errors on your work.

Steve Figurora worst contractor ever experienced... I'm taking worse than bad . In May signed 54k…read morecontract on 2.2 mm home in the Keys to repair , leaky deck and damages related. Steve demand 50% down , 27k , later found out Cal law (CSLB ) 1,000 or 10% max . Also, Steve had no workmans comp .. he was not fully licensed. In his contract said I must give a 5 star rating or be fined $ .. He thought is was a would deck but any and all contractor knew it's cement as it is a heated . He never prep the cement ( didn't fill in the cracks , grind or level ) and used Henry roof coating not deck coating . The deck is a pond now .Steve refused to redo the deck. Only one section of dry rot . .. Steve argues and debates everything and constantly whines . Steve is a blamer and Completely incompetent. Due to my pressure. Steve finally paid Painter ( south shore painting) in October.. And a separate issue wood for my fence missing from garage .. I never a written a bad review but needed to warn the public .. now I have a first bid 75k from a contractor to redo entire job and we'll file a formal complaint with CSLB .. resolution with Figurora is with legal now

Stores in the Michael's chain have rarely been on our family shopping list. We were here today to buy a couple fake Poinsettias for the house, which provided some holiday cheer, without putting our cats in danger with the real thing. We also picked up some putty to hold some breakables down. Michael's had what we needed, as short as the list was. If and when we will be back will probably be as situational and good value for the money.
