Today I am provided with a unique opportunity on Yelp. Usually a five star rating is the result of a lot of back and fourth in my head.Rating Custom Physical Therapy required no deliberation time. First and foremost I have to talk about the product. I hobbled in with a foot that simply did not work. I could not walk much further than from my door to my car. After eight weeks and a lot of hard work from both Chris and myself I was back to walking the 1.4 mile path to my office. Now about four month later I run every day and did 35 miles of hiking last weekend. The talent at Custom has made me into a believer in Physical Therapy. So the Product is fantastic but what about the packaging? I have to say the climate, service, professionalism and atmosphere is, in a word, superb. I expected to pay a lot more for the services rendered but the staff at custom knew how to work my insurance company a lot better than I did and, as a result, this was by far the least expensive medical bill that I have faced in years. All of the staff are professional yet personable, making the time you spend (often in great amounts of pain) Feel like hanging out with friends. Well,, I had another visit with Custom PT this summer, this time for a back issue. Again Aaren was my therapist (at my request) and I was not disappointed. She really worked me and did an incredible job. She gave me "homework" which I still do. Unfortunately this time the therapy did not do enough to take care of my problem through no fault of Aaren's. Custom PT in Sparks is the best. I know they have other locations, but I have not been there; only to Sparks. I had a knee replacement and Aaren rehabbed me. Poor girl. She worked so hard. She is so knowledgeable. Then, I have vertigo and learned that Casey Gray can solve that too! I am learning to manage that with her expertise. I went to other physical therapy companies in my hometown of Fallon. One, the hospital, always called me in 10 minutes late work with my shoulder for maybe five minutes, then gave me a couple exercises and sent me home. The other took me in on time, never worked on my shoulder physically, and just gave me exercises. So I decided to drive 60 miles each way and it was well worth it. The therapist worked on me a minimum of one half hour each visit - were talking about physical hands-on massage, stretching etc. I will never go anywhere else read more

Casey was great. She is the best physical therapist I have ever had. My only complaint was with billing. It seems they forgot to tell me I had a copay until after my course of treatment. I only found out when my wife was referred to them. She made her initial appointment and they called to inform her she would have to pay a $30 copay. When she asked why her husband had no copay, they said, "oh we forgot to tell him. We'll have to send him a bill". Seems they are not a Blue Cross perferred provider. So now I have to come up with $240 I wasn't expecting. I would have budgeted for it before starting treatment if I had known. I have informed my medical provider so she can let her patients know before she refers them. Too bad, they do an excellant job otherwise. read more

We are very disappointed with them and their lack of honesty and integrity on my last visit. The therapist spoke to me and I was out of there approximately in five minutes. I was told that I could leave and did not need them anymore. Being able to leave I was told that I did not need to stay and asked my therapist if I had to pay for this visit. I was thrilled with her response. She said that I could just go home and "No" I did not have to pay since I could leave and did not need to be there any more. With witnesses present I was told I did not have to stay nor have therapy. I asked if I had to pay since I did not have therapy. I questioned this and was reassured that I did not. I left very reassured and happy. I then mentioned this to the front desk telling them how thrilled was about it. I received a bill for a co-payment today and went in to have it corrected. I received a message on my phone from the therapist acting as though she never told me such a thing. The manager held to saying that I had to pay for this visit. (I was sent home) She also told me that what I was told by the therapist and receptionist was not accurate. I feel strongly that employees represent any business and what they tell customers should mean something accurate. I was out of there within a very few minutes that day. My ride was very surprised to see me come out so quickly. I am extremely disappointed in this business. The girl at the front desk also there was told the entire story and about how thrilled I was about the total details of this transpiring event.The insurance agency (Senior Care Plus) may be interested in hearing my complaint. Integrity and honesty mean a lot concerning any business relationship. I cannot recommend this business due to this. My husband adds "I wonder how many other people they do this to"? read more

Once you are lucky enough to experience Custom Physical Therapy you will not go anywhere else. This place has a team that never stops and works together for all patients. The name of the company means something also. Your therapy is customized for you based on the information gathered during your interview. I have heart issues and they made absolutely sure they did not put me at risk while I was taking therapy. There is something about the people that work there that makes you want to work hard with them to get well. Custom Physical Therapy also has several locations so there is an increased opportunity to have a location close to your work or home. Called to schedule PT for my shoulder, and the young lady scheduled me for the following Wednesday. The following Monday, I received a call from the person who does the insurance auth, stating that she needed to get auth, so was cancelling the appt., and would need me to bring in my referral paperwork. No problem, I took the paperwork in and handed it to her. She said she would get right on it. Fast forward one week...I check on the insurance website to see if the auth had come through (they are usually very prompt) and it said there was no record of any referrals in the last 30 days. I called Custom PT, asked to speak to the insurance person (I believe she said her name was Sonja), and when she came on the line, I identified myself and told her what I saw on my insurance website regarding my referral. She stated that she faxed the paperwork last Friday!!! Why it took her 4 days to do so is a mystery to me!! It is totally unacceptable to do this to a patient. I now have to start over, finding a new therapist, and informing the doctor as to why I haven't had any yet. In the meantime, the pain increases and the range of motion decreases. read more
