Parking was filling up as it was nearing noon on a weekday though the store interior was calm. Parts of the shelving areas were empty, merchandise had been consolidated to shelving closer to the front of the store. One bin in particular caught my attention, it held an assortment of protein bars that were nearing their expiration dates (the ones I got were August/September 2025). The price tag communicated they were marked down, with a price of $0.99 each, as the expiration date was close. I grabbed six and made my way to check-out. The cashier was friendly, payment went quickly, and my total was less than $6. I was happy with my experience.

I don't know if they're planning on closing or just don't care anymore, but the shelves are bare every time I go in. I got to speak to one manager a few weeks back and he said that they only order products once a week and get one delivery. This is a terrible business practice. I'm a manager in another business and am responsible for product ordering, and to keep shelves full you need multiple orders per week. It's just bad business and whoever implemented this new rule needs to be talked to. How are you supposed to have a business with almost no products on the shelves? Either fix the ordering issues or shut up shop and let a business in there who knows how to do things.

After moving to Edmonds and seeing the positive reviews I was looking forward to being a customer…read moreof a local establishment. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I've been extremely disappointed. One of my meds they told me they do not have in stock and will not be ordering it. When I asked why not or if they'd ever order it they said not many of their patients request it. Other times when I've asked about it they said there is often a shortage because it's being over-prescribed which seems like the opposite issue then no one needing it. Still they never offered to carry it so I had to go to a separate pharmacy just for that med. My other meds became more expensive at Edmonds Pharmacy than the other pharmacies so I ended up transitioning them elsewhere. There is never a notification of meds being ready via text/phone or any other method so sometimes I'd go and they'd not have gotten the order or they had something waiting for me for a long time that I didnt know they filled. Today was the last straw though, I tested positive for Covid after having severe symptoms and wanted to get the prescription for Paxlovid filled nearby but when the provider contacted Edmonds Pharmacy they were told that they don't carry Paxlovid. My provider called me shocked and told me it was unbelievable they dont carry this of all things. Please think about the community you're serving and re-evaluate the decision to carry meds your customers are requesting.

There is a world of difference between these two pharmacies! Edmonds Family Pharmacy is always friendly, prompt and texts me about my prescription being ready, even before I've contacted them for a refill! They are on top of their game and I would give them ten stars, if possible! The other benefit is that I like supporting smaller local businesses. I hope that Edmonds Family Pharmacy continues to thrive in our ever-changing market!

With various insurance coverage, I've used onsite services from Bartell Drugs (pre Rite Aid), Walgreens, Safeway, CVS, and Express Scripts (mail order). After receiving word from my medical provider that my new prescriptions were approved. With my new insurance, I decided them to be filled and picked up at the Costco pharmacy in Shoreline. I dreaded showing up on a Saturday early evening, but the line was not too bad. Plus this pharmacy is not open on Sundays. Once at the pick up counter, I identified myself, provided my date of birth and insurance card. I was then told to go another line (drop off) where another staff member went over my prescriptions and cost. Thankfully, the overall amount for 90 day quantities wasn't too bad considering I had a high deductible. I was handed back my insurance card, then told to hang out near the registers again until my name was called. The original line at this time sure had grown longer. After my name was called, again I identified myself, provided my DOB, Costco card scanned, and transaction payment were completed. Then I was told to go to another line for a pharmacist consultation. I told the pharmacist that these were all medications I had taken before. The bag containing the meds and documentation was stapled shut with the final receipt attached. Any further drug information is also available via QR code on the documentation provided. I did not do any additional warehouse shopping or visit the food court. This entire process took me approximately 45 minutes. I did pick up a flyer that discussed how to do refills with payment completed ahead of time. I don't see how this would be any advantage though since there is just one main line at the counter. All I can say after being spoiled having mail order prescription refills for the past two years, this was not too bad. Pro tips though: plan accordingly, pack your patience, and be nice to the hard working pharmacy techs and pharmacists onsite. I photographed and posted the pharmacy hours as seen on 3/7/26, hope that helps!

I had a pharmacist who I gave the name and date of birth of the person I was with-- Look to my person and ask "What's your name?" 1. I gave you their name and birthday. 2. They are wearing EAR PROTECTION ( clearly Costco was overstimulating for them / they needed as much quiet as possible in that environment of a large store and crowd ) 3. THEY CANNOT PICK UP THEIR OWN MEDICATION. THEY ARE MENTALLY HANDICAPPED. Not all disabilities are physically visible ) Clearly I am speaking for them, I am the one talking and giving the pharmacist information! I wish I could remember his name because honestly? I was furious. I had to lean over slightly for him to refocus on me, as my person ( with the ear protection on, giant earphones, clear as day ) was staring straight down at my phone at Pokemon Go that we had been discussing directly in front of the man, I'm clearly talking to them in a different way than the pharmacist. I was directly in front of him, my person was even a bit out of the way. The only reason the family has to go here is because Fred Meyer stopped taking their insurance and they've only EVER had problems here. Do better.

I had a phone screen and two onsite visits with Heidi when she was still at her Northgate location back in November 2017. Ancient Yelp post, I know. She has since then moved to her Lynnwood location. I underwent the screening and paid out of pocket for the lab work up. She was very thorough, personable, and passionate about her profession. Upon first meeting, you knew she really cared about your well-being and listened to your concerns. I ended up with a lot of information to digest, but in the end I did not pursue one of her tailored programs. What I did greatly appreciate though seven months later, there was no pressure and the information provided enough guidance for me to make tangible changes in my diet and lifestyle.

I started feeling some improvements within a month and by four months was feeling so much better than I've felt in years. To be honest, the foods Heidi told me I needed to avoid.. I already knew I should avoid. But, what really helped me were the things she had me add to my diet, both whole foods and supplements. Many of us have tried dietary changes that center on what you can't have. If you're like me, you focus on what you can't have or can't do, and eventually your will power fades. It helped that Heidi handed me a list of foods I actually like to focus on eating, but really what made it doable is that Heidi is very kind and doesn't expect or want perfection from you. When I have a hectic week or am traveling and can't make ideal meal choices, I am able to rely on my supplement regime to fill in the gaps. These days my health and energy level are a little up and down (depending on how closely... or not... I follow Heidi's recommendations, so there's a NYE resolution somewhere in that). When I was following my plan pretty strictly, my primary care doctor was so thrilled with the improvement in my health that she said she wasn't going to ask questions about what I was doing because she loved the results. :)
