Mark later added replacement of my dormer free of charge not because I asked, but because he wanted everything from the roof level up to be brand new and part of the job. Mark personally delivered the soffit and fascia materials himself days early so I had the opportunity to paint them before installation. I knew that once installed, the soffit and fascia boards would have nail holes and seams sealed with paintable caulk that I would have to touch up, but Mark had his professional crew take care of that touch-up. The crew was hard-working and did a wonderful job. They were friendly, accommodating, and fast. There were some challenges in removing the old and degraded fascia and soffit, which in turn required an extra half day of work for the crew...at no extra charge. The original quote included up to five sheets of replacement 4'X8' roof deck sheeting, but once they removed four- yes, four - layers of shingles, it was clear that 13 more sheets were in need of replacement. Mark made a point to show me the old sheets and I noted myself that they were severaly delaminated and clearly in need of replacement. The cost per extra sheet was very reasonable. The crew did a complete cleanup after the job was complete and frankly, my yard and the area around my house was cleaner than it was before the job started. I can't say enough about Mark and his crew. Mark was attentitve to all needs and concerns from the moment he stepped on my property to give a bid. I am thankful for the friend who recommended Hardie Boys and I would recommend them myself to anyone who needs a roof replacement.

He said he was out of town, but then "Sent a Guy" to look at the house, which later turned out to be he looked up the house on Zillow. He then quoted me $1199, and $250 a year after for upkeep (what is the point of their "Protectant" if I need yearly upkeep? When I said what happened to the $299 offer he said that was only for very small houses with easy roofs. It all went downhill from there. I questioned the add and he told me I couldn't read (video add), and when I said the add said nothing about small houses or easy roofs he rudely replied "don't tell me what to put in my add's". He said that a couple times. He became rude, and obviously he is a very young man with zero business sense and even less customer service. When I told him that I would leave him a poor review he said he would blackball me with contractors and I would never get a contractor to work with me again, he even called me on the phone, when I wouldn't take his call, he vollied more threats. Very Unprofessional. I can't warn you, the reader, enough to stay away from this very unprofessional young kid who is trying to pass off being a big business. People are either afraid to post the truth or he threatens or pressures them to get any negative removed.
