My Mom and I stopped by Villa Decor on a Saturday afternoon in May and were interested to purchase some things but the lone sales person was deeply occupied with wrapping presents even though there was no one else in the store. Many items were missing price tags. We asked her the prices and were told that we needed to wait until she finished wrapping after which she would "call the owner to ask the prices". Being clueless about what you are there to sell really isn't an efficient sales strategy, IMO. Thus, we left without buying anything which is a shame because their merchandise is quite chic and alluring.

Every time we go to the beach we have always like to take a day trip to Fairhope. This is what we did this year on April 24, 2023. We were wandering around town and saw your shop, Villa Decor. It looked so inviting that we went in. We saw several types of glasses that had color on them which we found attractive. So we bought two glasses with streaks of color from the bottom up for $59.00 each for a total of $132.48. We used them once while we were still at the beach and were very careful with them, even hand washing and drying them. We packed them carefully for the trip home. When we got home, we started looking at them before using them again and noticed that the color was coming off one of the glasses in quite a few places. This was unbelievable and unacceptable since we had paid so much for them. We called and Pat Clark answered the phone. We told her about the problem on May 1. She was very nice and told us to send them back and that you would refund our money. We mailed them UPS that day at a cost of $24.64. Now we have spent $157.12. We received a notice that you received them on May 3. We thought we would have a refund on our credit card in a few days. That didn't happen. We called the store many times and each time talked to a young man who said he would deliver our message that we wanted our refund. Still no refund. A couple of weeks later he called one day and said we would be getting our refund. He wanted our credit card number which we gave him. Still no refund. For several weeks now no one will answer at the store or on the cell phone so we assume you have blocked our number. This is where we are as of June 12, 2023. We have no choice but to think you are a very disreputable business and very dishonest women.

I sent my daughter to the Fairhope location and she wasn't greeted or acknowledged at all. The owners were working. When she asked for assistance, they didn't redeem themselves. What a shame. I've always had a great experience at Objects in Daphne. Haley is just the best! I am happy to support local, unless this is the type of customer service given going forward. I'd rather order what they sell online or purchase it from another store if this is the way they continue to treat customers.

They have some beautiful pottery, locally made butcher block cutting boards, pillow covers, painted backpacks, bags and cross body purses, jewelry, door hangers, local artwork, wine glasses and tumblers, candles and wax melts, including my favorite, Bon Secour Candles, and much more! I was contacted by Matthew who was very apologetic about the situation. He asked for pictures, made suggestions on how to fix things, and asked to be contacted after trying the suggestions. I discovered this store and her beautiful decor on Instagram and interacted through the comments and discovered I live across the bay not far from them. I was elated to know. Furniture of this caliber was in our community. Not to throw shade on any of the other local companies. But to be able to know my taste and others with similar taste have the opportunity to walk into a store and purchase such beautiful tasteful furniture and accessories is just delightful. And in this area too. I am sharing with my family and I am certain they will visit and purchase items.
