Not friendly at all, yelled at me and said they never told me it was $55 the week before (which they did ) would not recommend at all.

When I returned with the problem, the owner (an older, Hispanic male) was loud and rude. I had before and after photos and videos of the dress that he refused to examine. Because of the owner's shouting and disrespectful attitude, I started recording half way through my return visit. I wish I would have recorded more of the yelling, but the situation caught me off guard. Thankfully I recorded him shouting to his wife about "refunding my money," but once he realized I paid $180, he changed his mind and waved "bye bye" with his hand in a condescending way motioning for me to leave his store. I would NEVER recommend this business. In fact, I would urge people to go anywhere else. The quality of work was basic at best, and I did not feel safe when dealing with the abusive owner!!! Please examine before and after photos showing how the dress laid flat before & then bunched/twisted to the side after the "alterations."

The only reason I decided to give this business 3 stars is because the owner is very nice. Otherwise, I was unhappy with the results of my alterations. I had a bridesmaids dress that was about 2-3 sizes too small, and when I initially took in the dress to be altered, we agreed on taking one of the two inner liners out to widen the hip and to take the chiffon off the bottom of the dress to add panels to the sides. When I picked up the dress, I noticed that the panel was added to the back of the dress, and both liners were still intact and unaltered. While the dress does zip now, the seamstress altered the dress improperly and now there is a large wad of extra material near my lower back and the bust area is far too large. I took it to two more seamstresses since receiving it back from Y and Mai and both agreed that the alterations were botched. I understand that three weeks is a very short amount of time to alter a dress and I didn't expect the results to be perfect, but I at least expected accurate measurements and decent work. If one has a simple alteration (i.e., hem), I'm sure this tailor shop would be excellent. Prices are great and I'm sure they do great work. However, I'm just not sure if she was able to take on a project like my dress alterations and now I'm having to get it re-altered three days before the wedding.
