In smaller amounts there are solids, flannels, knits for garments, woven fabrics, interfacings, notions, wooden clappers, patterns, books, corduroy, wide backs, oilcloth, liberty prints, minky, embroidery kits. But the best is the display of sample quilts and projects hanging on the walls to inspire those of us who love to sew! Oh, but absolutely the best is the treat of talking to DeeDee and Kaye who are so lovely, experienced sewists, ready to encourage and help. Prices are reasonable for quality fabrics. I learned so much in two hours that I'm sure would have taken weeks over YouTube if I were to learn on my own. I just finished my second class and now I'm hooked. I love this community shop which feels like family and home. I went in to ask a question about a tricky section I was working on, and they happily and patiently assisted me through it. I highly recommend classes here. You will enjoy yourself so much you will not want to leave.

Allll of the fabrics were so charming and vibrantly colored - instantly I can see how it would be easy to fall into a quilt making frenzy! Dora was super supportive and engaging. She chatted with us about how she curates her fabrics. It is clear that not one choice is taken for granted. She is so creative and creates quilt kits from bolt remnants that are for sale. Offerings are diverse, I came away with some labels for quilts, sashiko embroidery kit, fabric intended for a Bible book cover, and pre-cut squares to make an easy quilt. The majority of the patterns for free (you get one with purchase) and for sale were written by Dora, herself. The store itself, while small, is easy to get lost in. There are nooks for baby fabric, baby quilt kits, and a holiday themed book replete with fabric and more. I live far from here but will definitely see if I can do online ordering.
