These guys are the best tree service company in town AND they have the best prices, by far. I've used them a few times for my residences and rental properties...And to be clear, I've actually used some other tree guys too  because I have quite a few properties, but comparing the quality of work and price alone, Joe is always giving me the best rate. I can't believe it took me so long to find him!  So what I understand is Joe and his crew are basically one of two of the biggest companies in the Central Valley that have all the equipment- and they end up renting it out to some other smaller guys (I've seen his logo on some equipment from other companies I hired out) who charge MORE or even subcontact his team out for the same work-FOR HIGHER PRICES-(and most of them don't even have workers comp insurance and are unlicensed! That's another story for another day though!) I know that for a fact because a few of my unknowing neighbors got multiple bids and received higher estimates from some of the companies they saw were 'highly rated' online but ended up having Joe's crew subcontracfted out to do the same amount of work for more money. Makes no sense to me and kind of upsets me to know that my friends had to pay marked up prices for nothing, when they could have had they same work done by Cut it right for a lower price. I guess that's their mistake but I would recommend asking each company who is actually going to do the work. So if you want a professional company that is going to do the work on time, and charge you the LOWEST rate possible, and you don't have to worry about someone damaging your roof or falling out of a tree getting hurt or dying on your property and YOU being liable, then I would recommend calling Joe at Cut It Right Tree Service. Joe and his tree service team are second to none. I had the same thing happen that William A. was describing in a previous post, so I'm happy I found out what was going on before I made a decision to hire Cut it Right. They do a fantastic job at probably 30-50% less than what I got in quotes from other companies. A little about my experience last week with them: I called them for a quote and they immediately answered and told me they'd come out for a quote. Their estimater, also their owner, did and gave me the best rate I could find out of 3 different companies. He scheduled the crew to come out and remove about 5 palm trees that were not healthy and sort of ruining our pool, and they removed them all in less than a day and cleaned up their mess. I also decided to go with them because I'm pretty picky when it comes to professional services. My qualifications are: professional sounding and professional looking (they were both- I got good vibes on the phone and in person- I'm not trying to have some hoodlum come to my home and work on my property) friendly (some tree folks can be straight up rude!, they were not!) licensed contractors (check) insured (incase something happened to one of the crew members that I wouldn't be liable) workers comp insurance (because I'm not trying to get sued) references good price speedy service Cut It Right met all these qualifications and I thought it was only right for me to leave a review about my experience so others could know what a good job they did for me! These guys are awesome. We just moved to clovis and the new house had some massive black pines that needed to be removed. I called and spoke with Joe, he came out the same day that I called and gave me an estimate. He also gave my neighbor an estimate for a few things. The pricing was more than fair in my opinion so we agreed upon a date and scheduled everything. On the day of service there was an entire tree crew outside my house at the agreed upon time and they were all ready to work, everyone of them was courteous and professional. After they started on the first tree, I decided to have an additional pine removed as well, Joe gave me an on the spot quote for that and it was also more than fair...I was amazed at how fast they got this done and the outcome is better than expected. Long story short, between me and my neighbor, they removed 4 trees and ground 7 stumps, all in about 7 1/2 hours. They did all of this with no damage to surrounding property or the existing landscaping and they did a great job of clean up. These guys did a fantastic job on removing my trees. I have a property in Clovis and a few in Fresno and The owner came out to give me a quote, and it was a pretty good price and based off of what I read on their website, I felt like they were the best company for the job. One property had two HUGE redwoods in my backyard that fell over and needed removal. And there was a third that was starting to fall over from the el Nino storms we had in winter/ spring. So I didn't want those to hit my house or a neighbors. The other property had at least 20 trees that needed to be cleared for a new property to be built. On both occasions, Their crew showed up on time, they were polite and they did their work quickly and were gone before I knew it. Only minor problem was they left a few woods chips in the yard... I guess that's expect though. Overall I gave them 5 stars because they did a wonderful job at a good price and it was a relatively smooth, problem free process from start to finish. read more

I had them remove 5 large Redwood trees at our home. One of the trees was in the back yard right next to a waterfall. They removed the tree without incident and with a special narrow grinder removed the stump. A second large Redwood was in the backyard behind our koi pond just two feet from the cement pond. And just a couple feet from a pergola, I don't know how...but they removed the large Redwood without damage to anything around it. AND, got into the very restricted space and ground out the stump. They removed three other trees and removed about half of the branches in five other Redwoods. All went well and they cleaned up very well when the job was done. Two men were there a full day after the heavy work was done just to clean up. Very professional, they had narrow specialty equipment that few tree service companies would likely have. Cut It Right Tree Service did a fantastic job on two different jobs. I got a number of quotes to have a few trees removed and stump ground at my house. Joe provided a very competitive price. He also had all the right equipment unlike some others I got quotes from. We had one dead tree that was obnoxiously close to the house. They handled it without a problem. No damage to the house by using their lift. They also made easy quick work of the logs with their other equipment which put the logs over the fence. No need for multiple trips all the way around the entire house. Was very pleased so had them remove a tree, top citrus, and prune the olives trees at my in-laws. At first, I wasn't pleased with the citrus but Joe was willing to make sure I was satisfied so they came back out and finished up. Great job all around! Thanks again for the excellent work! I called Cut It Right and the response was immediate. Joe made an appointment for with me, and arrived on time to look at some Redwoods and a Camphor tree I had in the backyard. Roots were lifting up the concrete and were getting to big for my house so they needed to be removed. Joe gave me a great estimate after having other contractors come and bid the work. I was glad I chose him. After scheduling a date,his team arrived exactly when Joe told me. They knew what they were doing. I could tell they had the proper equipment to do the job. It took them a day to finish the job ,but everything was left cleaner than when they arrived, and after the grinding of stump and large roots, it looked like the trees were never there. Joe and his team did a fantastic job. We had 2 large trees and a number of smaller trees. They were professional from start to finish. I was surprised to see how fast they took down the large trees and how thoroughly they cleaned up. We had multiple other bids but Joe was the best price. Also, they were the only company that pointed out they are licensed and insured which is important when taking large trees down right next to my home! We have a very large eucalyptus. We had them quote removing it but ended up not taking it out. Cut it right was the only company that could even provide a quote for the eucalyptus. We needed some trees pruned and cut it right did the job admirably. We have 2 bunnies and they were very careful to watch out for them when they went into their habitat to work. (They have a huge area to run in the yard). They were very professional but easy to talk to and did not mind any questions we had. It was a small job at a very good price, about a day later I receive a call his guys were showing up, i assumed a tag team but a full load of workers arrived and removed my front yard eucalyptus pretty fast, i was impressed. Highly recommend them. My tree was giving us so many problems and because my tree was so close to the foundation of my home I thought it was impossible to grind it down. This company is amazing!!! I can't believe how fabulous my property looks after they trimmed trees and removed a dying tree. Best part yet: I was trying to save a little and told them not to do 3 little trees~ I had just had my knee replaced 2 weeks prior and would get to them when I was healed. This is such a professional company. The owners are really nice as well. Joe came to give us an estimate and explained he wants to be fair to his customers and fair to his company. Great work done right and fast ! I called joe for a estimate, to come out and remove a huge red wood and a tree that was taking over my front yard . He gave me a great price and came out the first thing the following morning with chippers that could grind huge stumps and logs and top of the line equipment ! I was impressed with how fast they were in and out . With both stumps gone and no trace of the trees!! Cut it Right Tree Service was extremely easy to work with. Showed up the day after I called to give me a quote which was incredibly competitive with the other quotes I had received. The Cut it Right Tree Service team removed 20 redwood trees off my backyard. From the start, they were either early or on time, worked hard and all the trees together with the stumps were gone within 2 days.
