My son has been to 3 other stylists and it hasnt gone well. We decided to come here and we booked the quiet room. He did scream and cry the whole time which was stressful but the stylist handled it like a pro. She was super patient and understanding. My son is very sensitive to his hair being touched and he always cried when people touch it. He had a little tv on and watched peppa pig. They also gave him a baloon at the end. I don't where to start, honestly this place is amazing. We took my grandson for his first haircut and everyone was super nice and treated all of us (not just my grandson) so professionally and respectfully. The service was above and beyond and my grandson's haircut was perfect. We are so happy to have found this place. The stylist was professional and kept calm the whole time and handled him like a pro. What is even better is the chairs these little kids sit in are not just regular chairs but kids cars. This place is truly amazing and I wish I can give it a 10 star rating. Keep the great work. Yasmine did my child's 1st haircut. It was easy to book an appointment online and the times available are convenient for two full time working parents. The inside is so cute and perfect for helping the littles feel engaged yet calm for the experience. Yasmine did an amazing job and took her time, making sure her hair was even. After, she put sparkles in her hair. I 100% recommend coming here for the little ones, especially the first haircut. They give you a lock of hair, certificate, and a balloon for the first one. My daughter asked the stylist to leave my 2 & 1/2yr old grandson's hair a bit longer, as we still love his baby curls. Stylist gave child a "regular boy's haircut" (which, unbeknownst to us, until after our visit, is the same haircut my 1 & 1/2yr old grandson received a few days earlier at the same salon). Not only was this NOT the cut we came in for, which left my adult daughter in tears, the manager had to "fix" the haircut, as it was left uneven & unblended. This was NOT due to the child being uncooperative and wiggly; the original stylist just did not honor my daughter's request. read more

Today was our 20 month old baby boys first haircut and even though he cried, it was a wonderful experience, overall. Georgia was so patient, kind and loving with him and made him look so very handsome! She was also super quick, too! The receptionist gave us two haircut certificate keepsakes per our request as well- one for us and one for his Bebe! Cutie Cuts has themed chairs cars etc. and this the best way to distract your little one. Plus at the end of haircut your kid gets a prize. She did a great job cutting his hair and was friendly. Twenty dollars, tip and peace of mind that your kids cuts will look great and they wont scream unless its just yay for joy. Cutie Cuts is by far the best place around for children's haircuts. My three year old loves the bright, child friendly colors in the facility and starts talking about which vehicle he's going to sit in for his haircut days before our appointment. Each chair has a special vehicle that the children sit in, sometimes with interactive parts (sounds, lights, steering wheels). Each chair also has a television with a kid friendly show playing to keep the little ones entertained. Children are given a balloon and a prize after finishing their haircut. Cutie Cuts offers online booking so you can visit whenever works best for your schedule and only allows cuts by appointment during Covid restrictions. Each chair is sanitized after use and the facility is very clean. We always book our appointments with Georgia and she does a wonderful job. I definitely recommend that anyone with a little one needing a haircut give Cutie Cuts a try. read more

Had a great experience getting our little one's first professional haircut. We did the first cut package and our stylist was great with our 15 month old despite tears and wanting to hold on tight to mama. We got a picture out of it and a lock of hair as a keepsake as well. We got a same day appt which was nice since we needed a cut before pics the next day. Easy online booking. read more

Took my 18 month old to see Ro and had a great experience! She gave him a great haircut and was so patient and quick! He wasn't thrilled with getting his hair cut and she took it in stride. Oh my gosh so AWESOME ! My son had his haircut by Ro - He was moving his head from left to right sitting in the Batmobile and I have zero idea how she was able to give him such an awesome cut. And then there was me, sitting there crying during his first haircut he had long blonde curls that were just way too hard to brush with rats and knots sometimes -There was always a lot of crying as I chased him around and pinned him down to try to make his hair look decent towards the end of his long hair reign lol ! I did not know what to expect but seriously??? My sons hair looks good no matter which way you style it with product without product just messy I mean it's like he had a celebrity haircut. You know how the celebrities hair looks right? I had a friend who was a celebrity hairdresser he got paid $1000 and he would spend an hour and a half cutting each hair and pushing the hair all over the place so no matter which way it went it always looked great. My sons haircut was done in 16 minutes flat and it looks absolutely amazing No matter which way I brush it or Tassel it he seriously looks like a supermodel! Okay this place is a godsend. My almost 2 year old has recently become very afraid of haircuts. He also has some sensory issues. I explained this beforehand to Gina, but she said it was no problem. She worked quickly and patiently with my son while he screamed and cried and tried to push her away. Best $15 i ever spent lol there is also a small play area for the kids with toys, candy and balloons, car and plane shaped chairs, and TVs playing kids movies. Thank you Gina!! read more

Ok so i have been going to cutie cuts for about 2-3 years now. Tina is fabulous and there was an older lady that really did a superior job. Both have a very natural rapport with parent and child alike. I always trust them with the haircut. After all i am not a hair stylist and thats why i am there. They always right down the last haircuts specifications so it can be replicated but i like to let them use their creative skills to do what is best for my son. After all, its hair and grows back. However, the other day i booked an appointment online with Brenda. Wow. Poorest experience i have had in the place. She didn't even talk to my son unless it was concerning head placement. She continuously blow dried my son to get rid of the small hairs which only spread it more into his mouth and face. Her conversation with me felt very superficial & forced. Her haircut. Beyond subpar. My sons hair is uneven. Seriously?!? I could've done this. Idk why i even tipped her. Please stay away. She also does less than is necessary. Instead of vacuuming the hair from the seat she blew it away with a blow dryer. Just spreading it more. Like she did to my sons face. read more

My son had his first haircut at Cutie Cuts and Ro was so wonderful with him! Understandably, he was wiggly and cried for the clippers, but Ro was so gentle, patient, and quick. Despite his nervousness, he was smiling and comfortable by the end, and his hair looked great! He left with a little pumpkin, goodie bag, and balloon. I went to get my sons hair cut and the styllist was super rude, I walked in at appointment time and she told me they only have time for a trim when he was booked for a full hair cut. she wasn't even down with the person that was scheduled before my son. when I asked to reschedule she rolled her eyes and stated she didn't have time when two later appointments were available. I thought I give them a second chance with my son after Tina hacked off my daughters hair when she only came in for a trim. read more

We went to cutie cuts once when they were in Lakeside and my son thoroughly enjoyed his experience so we sought them out at the newest location and weren't disappointed. My son left super happy- he rode the motorcycle and watched 3 episodes of Blippi. Our stylist Ro, gave him a prize and balloon and his hair cut is great! We'll be back! read more

Very personal experience, she always remembers my son. I love that. And my son likes her which is GREAT. Took my son here for his first hair cut. The stylist Michole was great with him. She was very patient with him when he was crying. After the hair cut she gave me a certificate that said First Hair Cut and stapled a little baggy with a lock of his hair inside to it. This was my first time here and I will definitely be bringing both of my kids here for hair cuts in the future! read more

my son has been to Cutie Cuts (lakeside) a total of 4 times. They have always done good job but I go to their new location which there is a new girl. She seriously butchered my sons hair. I had worked on getting his hair the way I wanted it for 2 years to be cut off and crooked in 1 second. I tell the lady I want his hair trimmed and she disregards this and takes about 2-3 inches off. Gina is so patient and skilled with children. She is also very gentle - I couldn't ask for a better experience. I have gone other stylists that have literally traumatized my child from their impatience, rough brushing etc. Gina is fun, pleasant, nom-threatening, and great at what she does. Was refused service at 4:30 PM on a Saturday. Drove an hour to get daughters first haircut and was told that that they would be closing at 5:00 because another hair stylist didn't show up. Scheduled hours are until 8:30 on Saturdays. Hair stylist stated that *Gina* was the reason for closing early, what should have been a great first experience for my daughter and family has now been ruined. Management is responsible for keeping a business such as this up and running regardless of call-ins. Thank you for ruining our experience. read more
