With a pretty eclectic cocktail menu and what appeared to be a well thought out cocktail program, unfortunately our drinks missed the mark. From the current menu, we got the Life of Pablo, their take on a spicy pineapple and cantaloupe margarita, and the Buena Vida, a mezcal cocktail. Both looked very appetizing on the menu but when the drinks came, they were overly sweet and seemed to be made with artificial sugary juices rather than ingredients for nice cocktails. Our server, who seemed to be the only one working the entire bar, was helpful and the space is definitely cute, but their recipes need a little more love. As an FYI: There are parking spaces with meters right outside that you can park at for 20 minutes max, or there's a parking garage across the street where the first hour is free. They also have a 10am-6pm happy hour :) And if it's your first visit in, they give you a [sugary] welcome shot!

She loves working there. It's clean, very comfortable, and has easy access off Walton Blvd, east of Adams Road. The business is located in a small L shaped plaza and has easy parking right in front of the building. I always make an appointment for my cut and color, and never have to wait. Prices are fair and the other stylist are all friendly. It's a smaller, more intimate space than most salons. I enjoy going there and I recommend Nicki and Mario's.

Neither the hairdresser nor the owner reached out to me to see if I was okay. Side note: The day after this happened, I thankfully found a wonderful hairdresser in Clarkston with a referral from a friend Anyway, after I didn't immediately cancel my upcoming appointments here, they had the poor receptionist (who is very sweet) call to say I couldn't return. Ummm... did you really think I was coming back? I had no intention of returning. She also added in the same phone call (with coaching from the background) that "oh, and [the hairdresser] is independent". My guess is that the owner told her to say this. It is just so awful and disappointing how they handled the whole situation. All they ever did after scalding me was try to cover their butts.
