Wow! Talk about zero customer service! My 5 star review has quickly been reduced to a one star. I thought I had found a great nail place but today ruined this idea. We had an appointment scheduled for Sunday at 11:45am. We walked in and the young lady informed us they were too short staffed to serve us. Alright we understand issues can arise that you don't have control over. I asked my daughter to reschedule the three of us. My daughter rescheduled us for today. When we arrived for our 5:30pm appointment, we were greeted rudely and TOLD to pick our color. No one greeted us nicely or gave us an estimate of the time we needed to wait as all the pedi chairs were taken. We proceeded to wait 25 minutes with pure silence from any of the techs. Finally one girl asked how many pedi's. We told her three and she informed us it would still be a little bit. REVIEW! I wanted to find a place that I could go to as my usual GO-TO since it's been ages since I've done my nails. I called and made an appt for a basic pedi and full set. When I got there the AC was already down and it was about 108 degrees today. AC being down obviously wasn't there fault but it led to an unpleasant visit. I had my pedi first and it was a fairly decent pedi, no complaints for that. Then I was ushered to the another nail tech for my hands. At first I sat there and she asked very little from me. At one point when she placed on the nail tips, I asked if she could make sure the acrylic could be thin because I don't like bulky nails. She paused, looked at me and didn't say a word. Ok awkward. She was rushing through my nails so fast, that she finished before the two ladies beside me that were there before I sat down. I wasn't even asked if I liked my shape, she just started slapping the gel polish on. Normally I would just move on to another location and not think anything of it . My nails tips were placed poorly! They look like they're lifting from the nails and all of them are unevenly filed. The paint job was terrible! I wanted to cry when I left. I'm a very good tipper. Normally a 20% and higher on services. And I'm very easy going when it comes to my nails. What led me to write this review is because when I paid, I still tipped $20 for their services even though I hated my nails. The audacity to complain in Vietnamese about the $20 tip for a lousy job sealed this review. I guess next time you should get to know your clients and not treat them like a cattle! I asked her if I could please get a pedicure with regular polish and she said "No, we only do gel polish." I have never been told at a nail salon that regular polish is not an option. Really weird. I see why recently this place has low stars. But I was not willing to wait for another place to open a slot for me (I should've waited). Don't get me wrong the girl who did my pedicure and started my manicure was sweet. She did well on the massage and callus removal. The paint job was eh. She didn't do enough coats, I could still see my nails underneath. Some nails you could tell she didn't do the whole nail and You can see the layers. She also cleaned my finger nails real well. Then a man came over and did my gel so she could do another pedicure. He layered plenty of the polish which I liked but he left gaps between my nail and my skin. After my manicure I was passed to another woman for my wax. She was nice too but she did not pluck all of the extra little hairs on my brows or my upper lip. For $20 I should been plucked a lot more. In conclusion, I probably won't come back. They were nice people but it's all about the work for me and it could've been done a lot better. read more

Let me start of by saying I highly highly recommend this salon. I was in the area today and I just did a Yelp search to find a nail salon. This salon had great reviews and I wanted to give it a try. I called and asked if they had time for a gel mani & gel pedi and a gentleman answered the phone and said they had time so headed over. Off first glance, the salon is beautiful and modern. They had the perfect amount of options for colors (not too much to where it's overwhelming). I started my pedicure with Ann, she was so sweet and helped me pick my color. I also chipped my toenail and she used hair gel to repair it so it looked the same. I chose the $60 pedicure with the paraffin wax because my heels have been super dry this summer. I feel like Ann totally cared about every aspect of my pedicure from shaping my toenails all the way down to the massage. I think we all can agree; the massage is the BEST part. OH! They also had this aromatic jelly, and that was so awesome. If I could say it was a 20/10 I would. If you need pampering, get that pedicure! Then I sat in Jenny's chair, and she was super friendly and we started talking about hard gel and she was educating me more on the product. I feel like I'm picky about the shape and the thickness of the gel and she nailed it (pun intended). She also was super personable and caring. One of my new favorite nail places! Kim I believe, was so accommodating and took me immediately as I walked in. I asked for a gel manicure and she led me to Ann's table! Ann did such an amazing job! She was attentive, kind, quick yet absolutely efficient! Her work is clean and she really handles your nails with care. Her attention to detail is excellent. I'm a simple girl, so I don't get many extravagant designs or much work done, but if you do, I'm sure Ann will deliver! Awful customer service at both locations. Sloppy techs who say they can do the design but cannot, resulting in wasting both parties time. Said "owner" has a horrible attitude. She refunded me for the design $25 but that doesn't factor in that I am going out of town and will need to find someone who can now fix them cause I am leaving in the morning. All I did was ask for half back which I think is more than fair.. been doing designs for YEARS and for a professional place it's the worst work I've gotten in years from both locations. The first time this happened the guy couldn't even do a French but he was so nice I didn't say anything but had a AWFUL experience with the woman who was closing the shop.. I gave the location 0.2 miles away from my house a try.. big mistake as these nails were for my baby shower.. anyways what I wanted VS what I got!!! Walked in for my appt and showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted, she said she wasn't able to do that which was a simple ombré and some jewels on top. I thought that was weird but apparently she didn't have the correct jewels so I let it go and just asked for a plain ombré acrylic. She used white tips for my nails which I didn't even know people still used those but the place was clearly outdated. When she first put them on I told her that the tips were too white for my ombré that I wanted but she told me to wait so I decided to trust the process and let her finish after she had finished it looked like a shitty French tip with a pink base which IS NOT what I showed her at all. So she couldn't follow directions and the shapes of my nails were HORRIFIC. UNPROFESIONAL & UNCALLED FOR!!! CUSTOMERS DONT MATTER TO THEM!! THEY JUST WANTYOUR MONEY!!! Monday, March 14th 2022, I called at 9am in the morning requesting a appointment for a fill & pedicure. I was so happy I could finally get my nails done since I've not been able to have that luxury recently. I spoke to the front desk & requested to get Kim to do my nails since she did them before. Keep in mind I have been coming to this place for years, I drive all the way from Craig & Rancho which is about 20 mins away just to come here. The front desk said to come at 1:30pm, which worked out perfectly due to the fact I had a few errands to run on the way there. I arrived to the salon where I am quietly greeted by Natalie & she tells me that I should have been there at 1pm not 1:30 but the lady on the phone told me 1:30, so from the start she had a attitude. Natalie doesn't tell me to have a seat or anything or even to pick my colors, there was a lady that walked in after me & Natalie told her to pick her colors then have a seat, from the beginning I felt like she didn't care about me as a customer. After waiting for a bit Kim told me to go ahead & have a seat t the pedicure chair & put my feet in the water, the water was SKORCHING hot, when I took my foot out of the water my legs where bright red. After waiting there until she finished with her other customer she came over to me & asked me what I wanted && I went ahead & showed her a picture of half of the nails being orange & the other half pink & she said no problem. Once she was ready to paint my toes we started off with two different pinks & one orange color & I wasn't too sure which one so I figured she could paint it on one tow & I could see which color I liked best, Kim instantly got upset & rolled her eyes at me, because I was not sure what color I wanted. So since I realized she wasn't happy I went ahead & told her to just paint them pink & it was fine cause I didn't want her getting upset at me. After she was done with my toes she proceeded to doing my nails @ this point I was just going to do the SAME color as my toes & get out of there since I was already uncomfortable since she rolled her eyes at me. So I just told her to paint the same color on my nails, in the process of her dong my nails I asked her to add extra glue underneath my middle finger nail cause it was broken from the underneath, she said she doesn't do that so I just said no worries. While my nails where drying in the gel light I out my finger down & I completely cracked in half. Kim told me its my fault & I shouldn't have out my fingers down while it was drying. She tried to fix it but all she did was make the nail way thicker than all of my nails. After that she began to paint my nails & once they where dry I looked at them next to my toes & they WERE NOT THE SAME COLOR as my toes. So I told Kim that its no the same color, Kim said "what do you want me to do about it" &I said if she can fix it cause its not what I wanted. She ROLLED HER EYES AGAIN & got upset with me for wanting her to fix it. At this point I was feeling extremely uncomfortable... but I wasn't going to leave with something I didn't like. Kim went ahead & started grinding my nails down & took off 1/2 of the pinkish color then proceeds to paint white on top cause at this point I just had to get out of there I was about to have an anxiety attack & I am diagnosed with anxiety. Underneath my nails is now pink & the top is white. So at this point I went ahead & paid $85.00, but I wanted to talk to the manager, the manager Natalie was on her phone, & I could her Tiktoks playing. Once I asked for her, she had to get off her phone while she was getting up she rolled her eyes at me & didn't smile or anything. Natalie said that she can give me a discount for next service, I proceeded to tell her that I wont be back & I don't need her discount. I also showed her my punch card showing her that I am a loyal customer, She still did not care, I just walked out after paying her. Once I got in my car I realized that I never got a receipt for my $85 cash that I just paid her. I went back in the nail salon & asked Natalie for the receipt, she said she threw it away & that she can't reprint it for me. I proceeded to tell her that I really needed my receipt for my records, she said no, Natalie YELLED AT ME & SAID THAT I AM TOO SENSITIVE OF A PERSON! I have never been mistreated so badly in a business then this. The fact also that I have been coming here for years is even more baffling to me. Yesterday was the absolute worst experience I have had at this salon. I have been coming here for over 2 years and was never treated this way. I came in for an acrylic fill and was supposed to get my nails done by Kim since the owner was out of town, but Kim called in sick. I thought no problem, let me see if anybody else can do my nails. A new lady did my nails, she hasn't been there for no more than a week I presume. Anyways, I sat down told her what so would like and she started to file and put the acrylic on. Once she put on the primer and acrylic, my nails started burning so bad. I asked her if she could put alcohol or water on them she said no ( which I have gotten that before when they burn). She then profusely started to get mad at me when I told her that my nails were not the same size, my nails were brining, and the acrylic was way too thick! I was already an hour there and she still hadn't finished my acrylic. When she was almost done I was complaining that my nails were not even at all. My nails looks so bad, and I never want to complain to anybody but this was ridiculous. I told her to drill the acrylic down more due to the lumpyness of them and the shapes all being different sizes. I was absolutely shocked when she informed me in my requests told me "that I always do this when I come here." When she told me to take out my inspo pic, I told her again that my nails looks terrible. After that, she mumbled that she was going to call 911! I could not believe this. She said "do you like them" and I replied no I do not. She then told me to leave with a terrible attitude and was so rude throughout my whole experience. I got up and walked out without paying. The woman needs to get fired and have more practice while doing nails. She is not fit for a place of business and needs to fix her attitude. I am absolutely so dissatisfied and disappointed that I don't think I ever want to come back. As you can see, I live in California and I come here to get my pedicures done. I come to Vegas between 3 and 4 times a month, so I wanted to find a fantastic place for pedicures. I usually stay in Henderson, which is where I originally discovered Nailand and Kim, my absolute favorite person! When I went into that other location, Kim immediately greeted me and started running water for my pedicure. She treated me with such respect, friendliness, and kindness that I always requested her. Kim has since moved to this location. Out of the two locations, I like this one much better. It's a lot quieter, it's newer, the girls are extremely friendly and I like how they all help each other. I remember when it was being remodeled and I think they did a great job on the decor. It's clean, comfortable, and smells good in there. There are times when I've been there a little longer than expected, but I don't mind because I'm going so I can be pampered. This is my time to relax, so I'm never in a rush when I go. Think about it...who rushes at the spa?? No one. You're there to relax and be pampered and it's no different here. I love that aspect of this place, because other salons that I've been to have your pedicure complete in 20 minutes! I hate that with a passion. I want to relax and soak and get a good massage and I've always gotten it, here. They have excellent service and a fantastic menu of different options for your pedicure, from a tangerine or green tea pedicure to a jelly, rose, or honey and milk pedicure. I hate writing bad reviews but this I just had to address and hopefully the girl who did my nails can get more training. First of all, I mentioned as she was still doing my nails that the setting powder was way too thick that it didn't even look good and she goes to tell me well I should have said it in the beginning that I didn't want it thick. I even hate to be writing this review right now because this nail salon is the only nail salon that I go to. But my experience today was absolutely horrible. So after waiting 1 hour (which I was ok with) they were accepting me as a walk in during a busy time. The nail tech comes out with nails longer then a noodle and starts to work on my toes. I asked her please do not two things: 1. Pls do not use a drill. I prefer cuticle pusher 2. She doesn't need to cut my cuticles She stops the service and throws her tools down goes to manager and tells him to come deal with it and walks away. I HAVE NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY BY ANYONE. I'm still super confused how I was wrong for basically making her job easier. Like less work mam I just want a basic pedicure LOL I had to leave with 1 foot cut and the other one not done at all. I'm still stunned that management let's their employees treat customers this way. Not good at all. And because of this I will unfortunately never be back - Omg the response back from management. Updated Review: 7/7/17 I will not be returning to this location. Tammy is amazing and they have some wonderful nail techs here, but I am just done. I came to Nailand to get a fill-in and pedi. I was greeted with a new women with curly hair that did my toes. I was fine with someone new doing my toes because you simply can't mess up much on toes. When it was time for my fill-in the same women who did my toes told me to have a seat. The women (Nail-tech)was nice and easy to talk to but she took forever to do my nails. I was in the store for over 3 hours because she took her time to do my nails and they still ended up horrible. My nails were all lumpy and ugly and a week in a half later my nails stared to lift up. I had no new growth of my nails, so I added nail glue to the broken nail and within 2 hours another nail started to lift up. Im upset at the fact that I spent so long at the nail salon for my nails to mess up within a week an a half of getting them done. The decor in the nail salon is very nice but unless you ask for Tammy or the women with the nose piecing (I can never remember her name) then I'm am unsure if you will like your nails.
