I have been in search of a new haircut location since moving to Gardena. Was in no rush at first, thank you pandemic, but once I looked and found this place and got my first haircut I knew it would be the perfect fit. Mauricio (owner and barber) is amazing! Love his work and definitely going to be coming here from now on. I tend to stick to one barber for as long as possible to ensure I get the same service and glad I found this place. They have tons of parking so thats never been an issue. For the most part he is always available and I just make an appointment but I believe he also takes walk ins too. I cut my hair bi weekly so its important its good work. read more

Best Barber in town. Clean Shop, great price, excellent service. I walked in looking like a buster, left feeling like a hustler. My kids love coming here, they just like the vibe, and environment. They don't feel like that in any other barbershop in the area. Other shops don't even pay attention to you when you walk in and just stare at you. Making you feel awkward. Not here, Marty is very friendly and approachable. Call in for appointment. read more

Yesterday I called to schedule an appointment at 6:30. I arrive on time and was told I had 2 people ahead of me. I was disappointed as I felt my time was wasted. The barber didn't even attempt to offer a sufficient explanation. Very unprofessional. read more

Mauricio is the best. A flawless fade, every time! I don't live in the neighborhood but go to school across the street, so during a break between classes I needed a haircut and found a Cutting Edge through a search - what a lucky find. Even when classes aren't in session I still make the trip, because great barbers are not easy to find. read more

Dropped by in the afternoon during my break. Mauricio, the owner, was there and available to cut my hair. A simple, high fade, short on top comb over. Go to haircut place! Good service. This place never disappoints. I go here twice a month and I always look fresh. My friends and family always compliment me on how fresh my hair look. Thankful that this place is near me because my old barber used to be 30 minutes away. Now I can come here in less than 10 minutes. There are many seat for waiting and TVs that you can watch while you wait to keep you entertained. The barbers are friendly and always keep convos going between their customers. Reminds me of Everybody Hates Chris barbershop. read more

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

AMAZING haircuts! I have been to many different barbershops trying to find a barber that does excellent work, but I didn't find one until I found Marty at Cutting Edge. He does amazing haircuts, take his time, isn't rough on the hands, and makes sure you leave looking fresh! His cuts are even all the way around with GREAT fades.
