Fresh haircut for senior photos today! Eric took his time for an hour and was meticulous when it came to this cut. I took my son w/out my husband so i wasn't sure what to ask for other than a few photos from 6yrs prior and a little input of likes/dislikes in style is all we had to give Eric. I have been looking for 5yrs for a great barbershop. He hit 12.5 and out of nowhere his hair changed overnight. He had 3 horrific haircuts because the hair stylist didn't understand my son's style of hair... which had my son to the point he had no desire to go ever again (1-2 cuts in 4yrs). I called and asked if they had an appt. They asked me when I would like to come in. I had explained I was in their parking lot and wanted to make sure they had an opening. They told me to come right in that they had a couple open spots. I put my faith in the hands of Eric and I was beyond thrilled with the outcome. Eric was able to figure out a cut that would be complementary to my son's hair type (straight but, so much volume, wavy with ringlet curls on top of his hair being super thick). He did it! His hair looked perfect! I cannot forget to mention the rest of the staff... they're amazingly welcoming, offered me water more than once, the shop is pristine (so fresh and clean), decor is comfortable and enjoyable to take in, comfortable couches to wait for any family/friend to have their hair cut, tv's are available to watch, music is super enjoyable and not too low or too loud. Other customers were smiling and laughing and you can tell they have amazing rapport. Loved meeting little Tyson (I want to call him their mascot) he was too cute! I called the day before for an appointment for my son, and I was able to get his haircut the next day, which was great. Our barber was Will, and he did an awesome job taking his time. He was also a genuinely nice human being. The way he spoke to my son was so kind and patient, and that makes such a difference for us because he's still a little guy and sometimes uneasy about getting a haircut (especially at a new place). My son saw the candy machines in the back area, you know the ones where you put a quarter and it shoots out some candy? We didn't have any quarters, and Will found a quarter somewhere in his barber station and my son was super happy. It's the little things that really show you what a person and business are all about. I also loved the trains everywhere in the shop and there was a cute dog, Tyson, running around which my son loved!
