My project rebuilt 5 closets, including a master walk-in with lighted glass cabinets for purse display, a storage closet for extra products and clothing, laundry cabinets, butler's pantry and a guest bedroom built-in for hanging and storage. This is not my first time at closet and cabinet custom work. But this time was a pleasure due to the very prompt measurement meeting, zoom design review, 2nd zoom design review and the fast, perfect execution of the plan. Not one minute of waiting for the carpenters to come in or the painters to stink up and cover the space with tarps - it is what I would call fast custom. The end work is very high-end. Cutting edge closet does a phenomenal job! we had used them for our custom bookshelves and we loved it. we called them back again when we did the master bedroom closet. I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I started my closet re do journey in August and solicited a few quotes. Cutting Edge was among the companies I contacted. I called for a design and in a few days a designer came out. Kathy was my designer. She came out, took measurements and give me a lot of good ideas right at that first meeting. She brought her samples as well. I knew after meeting with Kathy I would be moving forward with this company. She was polite, punctual and understood what I was trying to achieve. We did a couple of options on the drawings and a few tweaks and I was ready to sign off. My main issues were that I had lots of weird spaces / odd spaces in the closet and as you can see in some of the before photos shelves and hanging racks were bumping into each other. read more

My husband and I are disappointed with the outcome and service at Cutting Ege Closets. We purchased a new home, and we went through the Newmark home design center Cindy (the designer) that helped us didn't even mention we could get these custom closets. So after our appointment, we saw these custom closets in another model home and requested their number to contact them for our new home directly. Keep in mind that it is difficult to set up an appointment with the Newmark design center. We were getting ready to start on the house.  We were in direct contact with Cortney ar Cutting Edge through email. We sent images directly from their site, asking about that specific color in the email we sent. She replied, saying that it was "Chocolate Apple." After the installation of the closet organizer, we noticed it was the wrong color, "Expresso." We called and tried to get it changed out, and they wanted to charge the full amount to replace the closet, $3,000. It is regrettable and disappointing to have to keep the wrong color closet, why would they not be able to work with us and after sending images directly from their site and receive the incorrect information. It just doesn't make any sense. We are unhappy clients. read more

It's surprising that there are no ratings yet. I had my master closet done almost a year ago, and have been very satisfied with the product. Everyone I've come into contact with has been very professional. I initially shopped vendors and Cortney always answered my emails promptly and thoroughly. Brian visited the construction site to take exact measurements, and they even came in, outside of weekday business hours, to allow me an onsite preview of the product. I've been happy with the quality of the work and materials, especially considering the cost, compared against California Closets, and Spaceman. After 6 months of use, one of the hinges on one of the hampers came off track and they sent a tech on a Saturday to repair it at no cost. They also delivered extra hamper laundry bags to me. I'm in the process of adding more organization to the rest of the house and will be using them again. read more
