I heard several recommendations for a few stylists here & not too far from home. I chatted with someone on phone, told them what I was looking for in a stylist's skill set & they recommended 2, both happened to already be on my list of 4 from here. I took a stab, picked 1 & made an appointment. Easy scheduling My experience was that the overall parking lot was a zoo at midday. I have a large vehicle & made circles 1.5 times. Entry to parking lot fools you when you 1st pull in, the small shopping center with all staff parking is very empty when rest of lot had only 3 spaces available. I found out, there's another side lot but only accessible from separate entrance off Georgia Avenue. Ive noted for next time. Upon entering, the salon looks nice, lots of stations as pictures showed and the front desk staff are very friendly, greeted me with smiles & acknowledged me right away. They had me sit in waiting area in front as stylist was finishing a client and I was a few minutes early. I waited a little bit, no big deal, and my stylist came and introduced themselves and took me back so we could discuss what I was looking for. After that, a wonderful shampoo & scalp massage. Heavenly & enough time provided, didn't feel rushed. Back in the chair & cutting began with sectioning & clipping hair up, then started with nape & worked a little on top sides. When stylist was almost done, had me check the back to make sure short enough, it wasn't, so more cutting. I appreciated being conservative & checking in, then going back to lift more length. I checked in the mirror again and felt length was good. Added some gel & that was it. OH! Mind you my hair is still wet. Luckily it is summer so I didn't mind, but this is 1st time I've left a salon with wet hair & not feeling complete. Now maybe we didn't communicate fully, maybe stylist planned to dry my hair, maybe not, but in talking I had mentioned I never blowdry my hair, which we talked about & isnt best for your hair & I let it dry naturally. So, maybe that influenced not drying my hair. I didn't fully mind except that I couldn't see a glamorous, LOL, but mainly professional ending & hair appointments are my only opportunity & treat to myself. What i also didn't know until now, after-the-fact, they do offer options for just cut & wash without blowdry at a lesser cost. So, I did save $. If I knew beforehand, or someone explained, I would have requested a completed style with drying. Because we talked the entire time and stylist was SUPER personable, I was distracted & on way home started wondering, did my left side get touched? Did I even get a fresh trim all around which I needed? It was 13 weeks since my last haircut & always feels nice when hair is freshly trimmed. OR did stylist only work on the main point of the nape being too long & top looking heavy, which was what I mentioned as main dislikes currently? I did bring a picture of myself t9 show what I wanted & liked about prior styling in the back. Once I got home, hubby said the back was uneven, longer on 1 side than other. He took a picture so I could see. Lucky he can cut a straight line, so he fixed. But next morning when I washed & let hair dry, the sides of my hair didn't look completely even & ends still looked needing a fresh trim. I guess my wonderingon my journey home was correct. I'm good at cutting my own hair, so next hair wash, I trimmed a little to even up sides & get a fresh cut on sides. SO, would I return? Definitely! I have options of repeat try or 3 others at this salon who were recommended. I'm willing & should return to try others as I overall had good experience. Everyone was very nice there & if I can get better parking option, definitely worth a 2nd visit. AND every customer that left appeared to be regulars & appeared very happy & looked great. Please know that they take credit for service, but tips have to be cash or Venmo only.

Instead she & her assistant over processed my hair by leaving me sitting and waiting for an hour. I called that evening to speak to Stephanie but no one answered so I left a voicemail. She didn't bother to return my call! Instead she texted me! How unprofessional! I called the next morning and the receptionist told me Stephanie was too busy that's why she didn't call me, which is ridiculous! Your receptionist never contacted me, I called the next morning myself after I saw your text. You have never called my phone nor has the receptionist. I had to call you all. I told the receptionist the assistant didn't follow the 20 mins off and 20 mins on for the haircap. She left me sitting there for about 20 mins before she turned the time on. Put the cap on and set the timer. Followed by taking the cap off and setting the timer again for 20 mins! She also failed to leave me with the toner for an additional 5 minutes like Stephanie told her. She over processed bleach and under processed toner. So my hair looks terrible on the top of my head! I can't even run my finger through my hair not to mention some of my hair strands are white and not blonde!!! Stephanie if your assistant doesn't understand how important processing time is maybe it's time to teach her! I will never return and I don't recommend your Salon! You are very unprofessional! Offering to give me a deep hair treatment will not fix over processed brassy hair! Next time have some sense and call your client back! By the way I paid $440 for my hair! FYI by the way years ago she bargained prices so that's how it use to work Stephanie. I see things have changed! But the quality of service has gone down. The picture you took of my hair was a small shot. You never even sent me the pics which I asked for. You wanted to me to leave. Let's not talk about the choppy haircut you gave me to hide the broken hair. Not taking accountability or even caring for your clients is a terrible way to run your business.

The owner of the salon, Ofeer, is a phenomenal stylist and has a heart of gold. At Yelp we support local businesses and this is just the kind of business we want to support. Yvonne answers the phone and greets you with a warm smile. She is wonderful as she schedules appointments and makes sure clients are happy and satisfied. Mila is a sweetheart. She gives great shampoos. As she massages your scalp you feel so relaxed and pampered. I don't want to leave her chair. Before Barbara passed away, she recommended that I try Angie for my styling needs. I have been going to Angie for the past 3 months. She is sweet, caring, and does a great job. I am happy that I have continued to go to Zohra. The staff is top notch and each works hard to please their clients. It was really hard coming back and not seeing Barbara. She asked if I wanted my sideburns and neck cut, and I said yes. She proceeded to buzz my neck, which I couldn't really tell what she was doing. She then asked I if wanted sideburn in a line, i said no, assuming it meant blended into my beard. The back of my neck is shaved at 0 above 1 inch above my normal hairline, making it impossible to have a ponytail and not look ridiculous. 2 inches above My sideburns are shaved at 0 as well, cutting off 6 inches of previous growth. This is beyond a botch job. I feel violated. Words can't express how upset I am. While i give credit that they didn't charge me, it's malpractice to cut that much growth off without clarifying with the client what you're intending to do. Have never had my hair a 0 buzz and certainly will not be going back. WOuld not recommend to anyone ever!

When my husband and I went it I was automatically greeted by this nice young lady with extremely long hair! She was so kind. She even offered us mini water bottles. We got a groupon for 2 mani-pedis and the only downside was that we could not get it done at the same time together. We had to do it one by one which took 2 hours exactly. We came in at 12:00pm and lefts at 2:00pm. Our nail tech was a super nice lady named Yen! She was so kind and she did such a great job. If you have kids? I don't recommend bringing them becuase they will get bored and their rooms are not setup for kids to hang around. There was another lady named Debi that came to introduce herself and mentioned that she does natural hair and kids hair. They have a SALON setup in there as well. Its like a one stop shop! They have options for gel manicures too! And they display the colors of nail polish on shelves. Their massage chair was really strong too! I will definitely come here again! There is plenty of parking here, and you take the elevator to the second floor. When I told the lady at the front desk that I was here for an appt, she immediately sent me upstairs and I didn't have to wait long. Yen was my hairstylist, and I appreciated that she told me upfront that if I wanted highlights for my long hair, it would be an extra $50 that the Groupon didn't cover. I wish I had known that before purchasing the Groupon, but at least she told me earlier rather than when i received the final bill. I gave her the go ahead, and trusted her with the entire process. I showed her some sample photos, and she told me that it would damage my hair if I went too light. She told me that a brown highlight would blend in better for my black hair. From gently washing my hair, to a beautiful long layered cut, to perfectly placing the foils, rinsing, and blowing out my hair, she left my hair feeling light, bouncy, and shiny. I felt like I was one of those girls in the shampoo commercials! I ended up tipping her more than I normally do because I was so pleased, although the end price is probably what I would've paid at a normal salon without the coupon. In the end, I would recommend this place if you wanted a really nice cut and nice people, but look up the price ahead of time!
