After dealing with an incorrect charge from another LA Fitness location and spending quite a bit of time trying to get the issue resolved, I reached out to the Clifton location. Andrea took the time to hear me out, understood exactly what had happened, and handled the situation immediately. Before I even got off the phone, the charge had been refunded. What stood out most wasn't just how quickly she resolved the issue it was the way she treated me throughout the conversation. She was patient, compassionate, professional, and genuinely made me feel like my concern mattered. Customer service like that is rare, and Andrea truly went above and beyond. LA Fitness is fortunate to have someone like her representing the company. I sincerely hope her efforts and dedication are recognized by corporate. I ask a guy that works there who happens to be the GM if they have an ab roller immediately says no, then asks me I'm training the people with me or training with them, I say both and he starts threatening to cancel my friend's memberships because they don't allow people to train their members when they literally got the member because of me! Lol. The GM really uses a bagel shop reference, like if "I had a Bagel shop I wouldn't want him selling his bagels in my shop," but I'm not selling anything in the gym literally making them more money. Anyway trash & rude GM, weights are never in the right spots, all the other employees are Great Very Respectful, pool area is clean, dance floor/stretching area is also clean and organized.

Whatever his personal disagreement may have been with the message, I believe I have the right to peacefully wear clothing expressing my views, provided that the message does not violate a legitimate, neutral facility rules. I did not threaten this individual, make threats against anyone, or engage in conduct intended to cause harm\. I also dispute any characterization of my shirt or my expression as "slander\." Slander generally concerns a false spoken statement about another person that causes legally cognizable harm; merely wearing a shirt containing an opinion, political statement, or other expression is not automatically slander. More importantly, I am concerned about the broader pattern of what I perceive as interference with my rights. On a prior occasion, I believe a woman interfered with my ability to pray. I now feel that I am being confronted over what I choose to wear and express on my clothing. These incidents have caused me to question whether I am being treated differently because of my religious beliefs, identity, or viewpoint.

We went at 9:45pm on Sunday night and the front desk was empty. It's a 24 hour gym so that should never happen. For whatever freaking reason the front doors were locked. She tried using her card to open it probably 30 times but it didn't work. It didn't even give an error....the scanner just isn't real lol so there's no way to get in. We tried knocking on the door but it's blacked out so no one could see us. I then tried calling the front desk multiple times but it went straight to voicemail. It looks cheap and the service shows it. There was a car outside with two other who also told us they had been trying to get in as early as 9:15 but they couldn't either.

I started out with them on class pass, but enjoyed the workouts so much, that I bought classes separately (which I NEVER did). It also helped that they used to have yelp or gilt deals. My favorite classes were ones taught by Bao and Marco, but you really can't go wrong. I've even tried their yoga, pilates, and boxing classes Each class left me feeling stronger and accomplished!
