Staff seems to be friendly but since I don't work out at this location on a regular basis I can't comment on that. The cycling room is big and I liked the fact that that each row of bikes is in a different level (similar to a theater) which allows whoever is sitting towards the back to have a better view of the instructor. My complaint is that the cycling instructor wasn't very good with 0 enthusiasm. There were no hills, sprints and other standard spinning activities. All the instructor kept a saying was "add 2 gears, remove 2 gears, stand up, sit down". Just multiply this by 20 and that was basically the whole class. My membership allows me to access all LA Fitness locations in NJ and I've been to at least 5 of them to take spinning classes and this was definitely the worst class.

When you walk in, it instantly feels like you are transported into a Rocky or Creed movie with the energy S&S brings. There are shakes, energy drinks and meals for purchase. They also offer spin classes and a variety of other classes. There is a tanning booth & hydro massage bed. Apparently "Coach Franco" likes to ridicule people who have lost a significant amount of weight through hard work and exercise by saying they look like "cottage cheese." He thinks this is acceptable because "some people need to hear the truth." Any coach worth anything knows that people don't train harder and improve because they're insulted and belittled, they thrive when they're supported and cheered on. Shame on "Coach Franco."

I started out with them on class pass, but enjoyed the workouts so much, that I bought classes separately (which I NEVER did). It also helped that they used to have yelp or gilt deals. My favorite classes were ones taught by Bao and Marco, but you really can't go wrong. I've even tried their yoga, pilates, and boxing classes Each class left me feeling stronger and accomplished!
