A very long overdue review of a wonderful, local business. We've been working with Stephen since we moved in almost 2 years ago - went with him after reading the prior reviews. Our lawn was just awful and we've been working with him ever since to get it back into decent shape. Very flexible on the timing (we cut every other week), offers spring/fall fertilizing and aeration. He does a lovely job in weed whacking after the general mow, and is always careful mowing around the gazillion flowers we've got for our pollinator gardens. Really glad we found him. read more

9/5/18 Update: After last service back in April, our lawn was destroyed! Not sure what happened, but called, texted, and zero reply. I asked Steven just to come and evaluate what happened. I think he put too much lawn fertilizer on and burnt the lawn, both front and back. Why did he never get back to me? 6/1/17: All these good reviews are for a reason. It's 12:00 pm (on a Saturday) and it has been raining the last eleven days in a row, and my yard looks like a jungle. I'm pretty sure Tarzan is living in one of my trees at this point and I have about 4 inches of dog poop throughout my yard. My mom is coming to visit on Tuesday and as much as I love her, she will yard shame me if my house looks like hell when she arrives. This is when Stephen comes in.... I texted him, and let him know my issue and he immediately responded. I was expecting him to say, "I'll try to fit you in by Tuesday, but it's doubtful", but instead I got "I'll be by in a bit, what's your address?"! Um today?! AWESOME! When he arrives he quickly gets to work by removing all the branches that Tarzan must of broke off, and basically cleans my yard before mowing it. Then he mows it twice bc the first time didn't get the results he wanted (I thought it was fine) and then proceeds to work his magic on the rest of the yard. Since I am a new client, I wanted to ask him about what other miracles he was capable of and he took lots of his time answering questions, giving me estimates and everything seemed to be priced at or below my expectations. He was honest, friendly, quick and very knowledgable. I will use him again and if I was a better person, tell all my friends...but let's get real, when you find a gem, you kinda wanna keep it all to yourself. Before doing the work, the owner (Stephen) came to my home and met with me, we walked the ground, and then he and his folks did exactly what I asked. When they couldn't finish the job in one day due to bad weather, Stephen contacted me to let me know he'd be back out there as soon as conditions allowed and he followed through on that promise.
