Instead, my GPA and health have taken a major hit. For months, I have struggled to even sleep and study in my own apartment. Frequent disturbances and shaking go on for half-hours at a time, multiple times each day and night due to the dysfunctional AC system (confirmed by the AC team) above my bedroom. Maintenance tried to help, but nothing can be done without agreement from management. Management has videos of the frequent noises and vibrations: water visibly shaking in a glass on my study table. They are aware I have had to sleep on a floor mattress in the hallway, as this problem extends to the living room. They are also aware that the lowest exam scores I have ever gotten have been during these months. 5 weeks ago, I finally gave up on trying to get the unit fixed. I asked if I could at least sleep and study in an empty unit. Soon after sending this email, I had to send them my 60-day notice that I would not be renewing. Management sent me the form to sign, and has since completely ceased responding. This week is finals week. San Prado has made this one SO incredibly stressful, far more than any of my previous ones. Trying to live here has undoubtedly and critically affected my scores and risked my seat in this program. Additional info I wish I had known prior: Appliances break so regularly that I see the maintenance team about once a week. My toilet has even split, which I later found out also happened to one of my classmates here- he too did not resign. In past apartments, I have had to request maintenance only a couple times max the entire year. I have found cockroaches several times. I purchased extra scrubs in anticipation of weeks when the laundry or dryer will break. I am unable to use the oven because the bottom of food burns while the top stays completely raw. My stove leaks to the point that not only does it smell strongly of gas, but my eyes sting and turn red- I try to keep my cat in my bedroom while cooking in case it damages her health. And due to highly inefficient appliances, my gas and energy bills are over 3 times that of my previous place. I thought I would save money with this one being a couple hundred cheaper each month, so was okay with the downgrade in size and quality. Instead, I have been paying more than I did last year.

They also say "you dont have to be home" yeah right bud im not letting people in while im not here. just super weird. the management is unresponsive and sucks. just rent some place that was built more recently. management will still suck they all do but atleast everything wont be falling apart in your "luxury apartment". trash

So if you want a state of the art workout facility, beautiful apartment with washer and drying machines and hard wood floors, this is the perfect place to live. The shopping mall is right down the street along with several grocery stores, eateries and a host of other businesses that offer free parking you will feel right at home. Some units offer real fireplaces inside with remote control for your enjoyment. The property is located on a bus line, close to I-10 and the 101 freeways. If you love coffee shops then you'll love Star Bucks, Dunkin Donuts and our newest addition Dutch Brothers coffee shop. The eateries close by are too many to list here, but you will find an excellent selection of local restaurants to choose from. The elementary and middle schools are in close proximity to the apartment complex. I love it here and I hope that you decide to move here and love it as much as I do. They are quick to fix any issue that may arise of which there are very few. The apartment itself is brand new and comes with state of the art appliances. The wooden floors and granite counter tops are easy to clean and look nice. I myself have a nice unit with a view but it depends on the unit you get. They give everyone fobs to open the gate and elevator which makes it very secure however it's a very safe neighborhood. It's very luxurious compared to what I had in California and it costs way less. It's right across the street from Westgate entertainment district which has many things to do and most of them are pretty good. I really enjoy living here. I was not paid to write this review.

This place is wonderful. The grounds are well-kept and always in excellent condition, My unit is huge for what I pay with enough room for all of my furniture. And I have no idea what I would ever do with all of the closet space! It is quiet, perfect for students hoping to get a lot of studying done. My neighbors are also polite and respectful, even the children. What has impressed me the most, however, is the maintenance. They are always timely in fixing things. The most current example happened a few days ago... I came home after being gone all day, only to find that my AC was not working. It had gotten to approximately 95ª inside. The office was about to close so I rushed over to place a ticket. The maintenance people were gone for the day so I honestly wasn't expecting anything to be done until the following day but about 15 minutes after returning from the office, there was a knock on my door. The office called a maintenance guy in to fix my AC which he did in no time at all. It was an absolutely awesome and very kind thing of him to do. I couldn't be happier living here and highly recommend it to anyone moving to the area.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The biggest issue was the constant noise. Our neighbors were frequently fighting, slamming doors, and being disruptive at all hours. We reported this to the leasing office multiple times, but nothing was done beyond basic warnings, and the behavior never improved. Maintenance was also very frustrating to deal with. Requests would be submitted, but there was little to no communication about when someone would come or what the status was. Most of the time, you wouldn't hear anything until the day they showed up, which made it hard to plan around. The cleanliness of the property was another major problem. There was often pet waste left around the buildings, and the dog park was especially bad. Trash in that area wasn't consistently taken out, leading to strong, unpleasant odors. I also had a very concerning experience involving someone connected to the leasing manager, Esther. After our car was hit, we found out the person responsible did not have insurance and still attempted to shift the blame onto us, which added a lot of unnecessary stress. Lastly, don't expect to get your full deposit back. We were charged for cleaning and carpet fees regardless, which felt excessive. Overall, while the view was nice, the ongoing issues with noise, maintenance, cleanliness, and management made this a disappointing place to live. I would not recommend it.

Now that Gustavo is in charge either he doesn't know how to manage or he just doesn't care about his job or he just on incompetent human. I was suppose to transfer from a 2 unit to studio. Gustavo kept lying to me about the move date. When they finally gave m e a date the studio wasn't ready. A day before the move they call me and say it was ready and for me to transfer my utilities. They wasted my time transferring my utilities to find out on the move day that the Studio wasn't ready. They took my deposit of $142.00 dollars and it has been a week already and the incompetent of Gustavo hasn't cancelled the deposit. I moved from the unit on Saturday and is Friday already and he hasn't properly close the move paper work. I have a balance of 48 dollars and he hasn't fixed it yet. Please don't replay to review with a sorry because the sorry is not going to give me back the inconvenience and time I waisted because of the incompetence of management.
