Service is ok, since they don't have a lot of workers it stalls the flow. The cleanliness is ok but all of this gets overshadowed by the horrible food quality. The meat is overwhelmingly gamey and dry. Overseasoned and overcooked. Shrimp are just pieces of char or in the case of the breaded ones, just rocks as a result of the over frying. Overall there is not a single good restaurant around these parts with good or decent meats maybe as a result of bad quality cattle region. So we came in with a big group and we all had a nice table set up for us. First thing I noticed was how sticky the table tops were. Nothing that would make me go crazy but still. Food might've taken a while to get out the door but that's also not a pet peeve of mine but good LORD. This place is glorified frozen food items. My girlfriend got the pick 3 appetizer tray and that was just ridiculously low quality. Mozzarella sticks were legit just great value Walmart bagged and the potato skins looks like a sad excuse and waste of a potato. I had gotten the "new item" fried catfish & shrimp platter. Again, terrible quality. The catfish fillets are definitely frozen fish bought from the local cheap grocery store and the fries across the table per each person I knew got them were just sad. RT is a chain so there's no menu surprises. Very few customers at 1:15. The one waiter, Austin, had all the area, bussed the tables then greeted and sat three more guest tables. I had the salad bar which is a full selection table. More than enough to fill me. My husband ordered fish and chips. When it came there was no tartar sauce. The waiter was not reliable. They messed up my order twice. My girlfriend found a really big piece of plastic in her food. I told the waiter and he just said oh and went on with his day. My sisters salmon was very undercooked. I also told the waiter about this and he did nothing. He said sorry and that was it. He didn't offer to replace it or for a free meal. Yep, it is a chain, but in Aberdeen it is a top spot. Wind blowing, temperatures dropping, overcast and you don't want a hassle, so in you go. A very nice, clean location with plenty of parking. Wait servers are mid-western nice. Happy, courteous, helpful and like to joke around. They are truly happy that you are there. Salad bar to die for. Lots of goodies and a meal in itself. Can get a serving rather than a side salad with your meal. Food is very good. Menu has just about anything you might want and the bar will take on whatever you order. We were sat inside on a Saturday night and greeted right away at the door. We waited a long time for our server to greet us and saw other servers walking by us. We never saw a server, but what was the biggest turn off was there is no social distanced tables (we were 12 inches away from other guests), none of the employees or customers wearing masks. My mother is in the age range which it could be high risk.We decided to leave and found a restaurant that had all employees wearing masks. Strange (we thought it was a state thing and all restaurants would be mask free then) that some restaurants seem to care about all of their customers not just a few. First off: it's New Year's Eve so I knew there was going to be some wait. For a table of three there was a wait time of about 30 minutes which was reasonable. We were taken back to our table after about 25 minutes. Upon being sat we ordered our drinks and our waitress left us. Immediately to our right we're three tables covered in empty cups, plates, and kids menus with crayons. Our waitress came back to take our order and only after that did someone finally get around to cleaning off those tables.... 26 minutes after we were seated. I don't know how long they were like that before we had got there, but it's a holiday during supper rush you would think they would be eager to clean those off to seat more people. My father ordered the sirloin (medium rare) with shrimp. And my mother and i ordered our own food. After another 30 minute wait our food arrived. They forgot the shrimp for my dads order and upon cutting into his steak saw it was well done. My father is very particular about his steak so he sent his entire order back to the kitchen. The man who brought our food out offered to take it off our bill and my frustrated father nodded his head. My mother and i ate and our waitress brought us our bill which we see it was taken off. Overall the service was alright, the experience was lacking but the food was ok. My father claims he will not be frequenting the establishment again. read more

We have eaten here in the past and have enjoyed it-- but tonight--not at all. First, we had to beg for silverware-- then after we ordered, things went downhill. We finally got the so called prime rib but it was cremated and not only was tough, but tasted and smelled funky. Neither of us could stomach more than a couple bites. We realized that we never got the apoetizer we had ordered nor the glass of wine either. ( Finally did get the wine and needed it to obliterate the taste of the hideous food!) I am not usually a complainer, but this was over the top and then some. We made our displeasure known and to the manager's credit, she was apologetic and comped the meal. I would have given at least a 4 normally but it seems some forget good customer service extends beyond face to face. I work at a hotel where they deliver often and so today I thought I'd order for myself and boyfriend joining me for dinner. The first gal I spoke to said they never deliver to hotels. I asked when that changed and she immediately asked me to hold (no big deal). Another unidentified woman answered and -in a very irritated tone,as if I were a pain when I hadn't even asked to speak to a manager or indicated much of an issue- she couldn't POSSIBLY leave for at least an hour,if at all, because it was just her and one server.
