We came to Kauai on our first vacation with our baby and hired Shelly for a "family of three"…read morephotoshoot by the beach in Poipu. First off, she is very responsive to text and emails. I love that. She didn't leave us hanging, ever. Also, Shelly herself is a very sweet and kind person. You can just see it in her demeanor. She was so accommodating! The weather was bad getting worse when she got here for our scheduled time, and many photographers would have just said "ok let's go indoors and do the shoot" - but Shelly offered to come back again the next day when the weather was supposed to be better (and it was completely better thankfully!). It was generous of her since it meant more of a time commitment on her part, but you could tell she just wanted to make sure we got great pictures. We are really thankful for that! Now, what about the pictures themselves? After all, that is what you hire her for, right? They came out great! Lots of variety - I don't think a single pair of pictures looks similar to each other. I hate it when you get the pictures back and it's basically all the same pose of "the family looking into the camera". Shelly made sure we got lots of different poses, angles, backgrounds. She picked great spots that were easy to get to but also photographed really well. She did a great job with the composition of the shots themselves. Her turnaround time to get us the pictures was pretty insane actually! I could not believe she got them to us so quickly! We found her price to be super reasonable, too. Overall, we are very happy we hired her amongst the 8 photographers we contacted. Thanks again, Shelly!

They chose a great location and were prompt, professional and even brought props for the kids. The day of the shoot was windy and cloudy but the pictures turned out great... crisp, bright, and fresh. My daughter hates taking pictures but after warming up she had a blast with Shelly and Joe and asked to schedule another photoshoot. We will definitely be calling them again for more pictures!

There are so many good things to say about Meg and her fiancé Pete (look up Bradyhouse Media for…read morehis work)! First off, a friend of mine had found Meg's work off of Instagram and suggested that I reach out to her. Mind you, I was planning an "enchanted elopement" in less than a week and a half. Luckily, since it was an elopement -- we were pretty flexible and so was Meg! My husband and I had never been to Hawaii so we knew nothing about the islands or Kauai. I tried to research as much I could but was a bit overwhelmed. Meg was more than happy to make suggestions on different vendors, location and what was the best time for shooting. We settled for Ke'e Beach. I am so glad she suggested that because it provided us different types of photos -- jungle, beach, sunset, etc. The timing was also perfect for a natural lighting with the sun and waves. Meg's overall presence and personality matched ours, too. From previous photographers I have dealt with (from my family & friend's weddings), she did not push us to do things we weren't comfortable with. She was so laid back! Also, we aren't the most romantic and subtle type of couple. We are the loud and silly type. She was able to capture us perfectly in the photos! After she spent about 3 hours with us, we went our separate ways. Then a couple of hours later, I received a few sneak peak photos!! How awesome is that! I got the remainder of my photos in less than two weeks. She took more than she had promised too! Now, I want to add that I am in the film & tv industry. From the words of everyone in my industry, WOW! They said that I picked the perfect person for my photos and loved her artistic eyes. We are so glad we went with Meg & Pete. Since our family & friends weren't there, these photos allowed them to feel as if they were actually there. Book Meg if you want something amazing!

The food was incredible, all of our guests raved about the food with many guests saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had, especially the kale salad.
