Prescriptions are never ready on time. No one is in a hurry to do anything. I have to either wait 45 minutes or make multiple trips. I'm switching pharmacies it's just too much to deal with to get a simple prescription. read more

Have noticed this location is quite overwhelmed since Covid began. I've still been able to get med's and candy which sometimes are handy to have ...jk A recent Increase in staff has helped getting things back in order. Although there is a drive-thru, have yet to use that available source. I like walking in and looking at specials which change weekly. I came to the pharmacy right after my Doctors appointment hoping to get my Rx's filled right away because I was in a lot of pain. The staff was so nice and they expedited my Rx's and filled them right away! Everyone was great! The pharmacist took the time to give me instructions on how and when to take my meds and side effects to look for. I know sometimes going to the pharmacy to pick up meds is not always a great experience - but yesterday was an exception - Great job CVS staff in Aberdeen!!! And a big THANK YOU! The only problem I can honestly say I have with this cvs is calling. They never answer their phone and your left on hold for 30-60 minutes. They also don't listen to their recordings left by doctor offices on a daily basis as well because on several occasions they took days to get my prescription that was left on their voicemail. The staff is nice and works hard to get your prescriptions ready but I can't drop everything and go their all the time. I need to be able to call and get a response and I just don't. Called yesterday about having my prescriptions that were filled,shipped to my home.Woman said she would. Called just now to be sure that was in process,as scripts only have 2 more days to be picked up,and I have no vehicle.The woman,and her college as she called him,(I heard in background);were very annoyed sounding to me.She sent a text according to her that was to ask for my credit card info; n case of charges.When I got the text it said donot send any card info by text.When I told her,she and the man; in the background talking were saying " I dont know then." Told me to come in and add card at store Very rude.Not the first time I have encountered less than professional behaviour when calling on the phone . As soon as I can find a place to deliver,with people who act like decent humans,my prescriptions will be transfered . read more

Sad some people have a bad experience with the pharmacy. I am here to say I've a good experience in the last few days. First off I do not live here I am visiting my mom and step dad who is currently sick and needing medications. I went on a Saturday and the man who helped me was very sweet and informational. I also dropped off a prescription which I didn't need that day and at the drop off window I did not wait long and the person helping me was very friendly. I had a good encounter. I came back Tuesday for 2 new prescriptions for my step dad. There was one person at the counter and one in line ahead of me. The gentleman at the counter must have had a issue because he was taking a while so someone stepped up to the other register to help us 2 in line. This pharmacy person was also very nice and pleasant to talk to. He seemed genuinely to be a friendly person. Thank you for being friendly pharmacy team- it's been very emotional for me to be getting these meds for my step dad so I'm glad everything went smoothly. read more

My prescriptions were promised at 5:38p and 5:48p on 12/12/24. I didn't receive a notification for them being ready, so, by the next morning (12/13/24) at 11a I decided to drive to this CVS pharmacy to pickup the prescriptions. They were not ready, and I explained that they were due to be ready the evening before. The clerk asked if I wanted to expedite the filling, and I asked what the cost would be for expediting the filling, and she replied that there isn't a charge. I told her yes, and she said the prescription would be ready within 30mins and I would get a call or a text notification. I received the notification within 15mins. I am sick and needed my antibiotic yesterday evening as promised, after my doctor sent over the prescription and told me to begin taking the medication that night. I do not recommend this pharmacy. read more

This is the best CVS in the history of CVSs! Ok, maybe that's a bit of an overstatement. The employees are pretty normal, pharmacy is busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. I noticed recently during a, 1hr I believe, pharmacy shutdown for lunch, that no one was chatting on their phones or actually disappearing for lunch. It looked like they were catching up on filling orders. That takes some commitment. Lastly, if a vehicle were unavailable a person could possibly call a friend or, god forbid a taxi/ride share service. I realize that takes some planning and Uber/Lyft aren't very reliable here yet, but there are definitely options. Maybe Walmart or Walgreens would be more willing to send medication without it being paid for at time of releasing it... read more

Do Not use this CVS Pharmacy. It is extremely disorganized, slow and inefficient . Not one to shun a place after one bad ordeal. This is ow the 3rd time dealing with the slowest. Plenty of other options, go somewhere else read more

I can see a huge improvement since new management took over at the pharmacy. I went in for my flu shot. The pharmacist that assisted me was kind and professional and made sure I had no questions or concerns. the pharmacy and store were very clean and all other staff were very friendly. read more

Pretty typical CVS, decent service at the window, typical wait times. Costs a bit more for general Merchandise than say the local walmart but its clean and not usually too busy. I've had 3 decent experiences here thus far, once for soap and a couple times for general stuffs - :) read more

I inquired about price of Rx - this is a very high priced med-( no generic) . Was told a price. When called other pharmacies the price Harris Teeter quoted was much lower..... Called back to confirm Rx price and was told it was twice the the price they originally gave me. They gave no apology. I am a retired health care worker, and was treated extremely rudely during the conversation. Ill pay more to have polite service than be treated like that. Soooo off to Aberdeen Prescription Shoppe I go- and the bonus is, prescription price reasonable with very respectful service. read more

This pharmacy is understaffed due to manages refusal to bring on more staff. Mistakes happen perscriptions are delayed and no one bothers to notify you that they threw you perscription in a basket 2 weeks prior to needing it. When you go to pick it up they have done nothing to remedy the problem. Now it's an emergency for you, not them. This pharmacy is very busy and they need more help. read more

Worst service ever. Over worked inefficient staff who cares very little for their customer. Medications are the life blood of a pharmacy; however, this location is running it like a clown college. Long waits, condescending cashiers and disregard for their customers culminates into a business that needs to be shut down. I am surprised customers haven't died while waiting for ANYONE to recognize them at the register. This is a repeated problem. I am moving my business to a location where they take pride in their business. I suggest everyone else does the same. It won't be long before the lady yelling out "We're Extra" from behind the counter screws up an order and someone pays the ultimate price. read more

Pharmacy is extremely busy but they seem to get my prescription in reasonable amount of time after I arrive. Pharmacy is too small for the amount of business, More space is needed then could hire more staff. Stopped in here to get a vaccine boost shot as advertised on their website. Registered online, checked in when I got there. Was told about a 45 min wait, after 2 hours and 45 minutes, my name was called and I was told that they wouldn't give me a Moderna booster since I had Pfizer original shots, even though CDC and their company website said it was allowed. There was no signage displaying this and they didn't ask when I checked in at store. Poor management and customer support. I will not use a CVS for anything from this point forward, plenty of other pharmacy's around. read more

This is possibly the worst run business in Moore County. They don't answer the phone, they tell you you have a delivery coming out for the next day but you don't see it for two or three days. My schedule usually only permits me to shop here in the late evening. When I have visited during the evening hours the store is well staffed with friendly and helpful people. Today I made the unfortunate mistake of calling during the afternoon hours to check to see if an item was available. After following the prompts a woman picked up the phone while talking to someone else. About 30 seconds into picking up she finally acknowledged that I was on the line. I asked if she was aware if they carried the item or not. She replied that she was not sure and then went back to the conversation with the other person. I waited patiently while under the impression that she was checking. I was wrong. When she finally decided to continue our phone call I asked her if she would check for the item. At which point she told me I would have to call back and ask someone else to check. Thanks for your help. read more

Made an appointment for a flu shot; waited for 45 minutes, pharmacist who was supposed to give the shot spent over 20 minutes fielding phone calls, ignoring the people who came into the pharmacy standing right in front of her. At 45 minutes we had to be some place else so I said I'm out I need a refund, she casually nudged me over to someone else -- clearly could have cared less. Don't bother making an appointment online -- this place is not equipped or staffed to handle it. Steer way clear ... and if you're CVS management reading this, here's some former customer feedback for you -- (1) fire the pharmacist with the short dark hair because she's killing your brand; (2) take down online appointments when your operation is in meltdown; and (c) staff better because you're employees deserve better than to be swamped like that. i have dealt with all of the pharmacies in the area as TriCare switched contracts. I have never received the level of personal service as I had with CVS. I was very sorry when TriCare switched again. BTW I'm NOT in Fl but in Aberdeen NC! read more

The CVS pharmacy in Aberdeen, NC is horrible. I've had several negative experiences. But the latest one is literally the last straw for me. My doctor called/faxed my prescription last Monday (August 17,2020). What's today? Oh yea, today is August 27,2020. Guess what? Yep, you guessed it. It's been over a week and a half and my medication is not ready yet. First, I was told that they had to check with my doctor (for referral insurance to pay). The 2nd excuse was they didn't have my medicine in stock. I tried to patient, gave them all week into the next to get these issues resolved. Finally, today I called to see if my prescription was ready. The person, pharmacist, whomever I spoke to,said it was ready. I get there to pick it up and they tell me that they don't have it. What?!? The woman at the window stated that CVS did not have it in stock. she doesn't know why The other person told me this. Of course,by this point I'm not Happy. I ask if they can just transfer the Rx to another pharmacy. No she says, because this is a new RX, they cannot transfer it. So here I am. Just about two weeks later, and still no medicine. All I can say is Thank Goodness this medicine wasn't life or death. I'd be dead! I will be contacting their corporate office. read more
