I saw Impress Nails Christmas burgundy almond nails too. I liked browsing the pharmacy and used a $4 off coupon on my purchase there. I didn't find what I was looking for in the beginning yet I liked the items I found & wanted there especially the Milani gift boxed products. I am writing to share my personal experience with CVS Caremark and to express my frustration with what I believe has been a confusing, inconsistent, and unnecessarily burdensome process for obtaining my prescribed medication. What should have been a straightforward process became a prolonged series of phone calls, paperwork, and communications between my doctor's office and CVS Caremark. One of the most frustrating aspects of my experience was learning that medication I had previously received was suddenly subject to new prior authorization requirements. In other instances, I was informed that coverage limitations or authorization requirements had changed, requiring additional documentation and approvals. These changes occurred after my treatment plan had already been established by my physician, creating uncertainty about whether I would be able to continue receiving the medication I needed. Throughout this process, I often received different answers depending on whom I spoke with at CVS Caremark. I was instructed to have my physician's office submit specific forms, only to later learn that additional forms, different authorizations, or further documentation were required. Each time new requirements emerged, I had to contact my doctor's office again, and their staff had to spend additional time attempting to satisfy CVS Caremark's requests. As a result, I found myself caught in a continuous cycle between my physician's office and CVS Caremark. Information was frequently inconsistent, requirements appeared to change, and responsibility seemed to shift from one party to another. The process was not only time-consuming but also stressful, particularly because it involved medication that my physician had determined was necessary for my care. After going through this experience, I have little confidence that this letter will result in meaningful change. It is difficult for me to believe that the concerns of individual members receive the attention necessary to correct systemic issues that continue to affect access to prescribed treatment. While I hope that CVS Caremark leadership takes these concerns seriously, my experience has left me skeptical that meaningful action will be taken. Unfortunately, individuals like me often feel as though we are at the mercy of a system over which we have little control. Decisions regarding coverage, prior authorizations, and medication access can have a significant impact on our lives, yet the process can feel opaque, unresponsive, and disconnected from the realities faced by those who depend on these medications. I am sharing this letter because my experience has left me concerned about the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of the process. My hope is that CVS Caremark will take steps to improve communication, reduce unnecessary administrative hurdles, and ensure that individuals are not subjected to avoidable delays in accessing prescribed treatment. read more

This location could be better organized. Several of the items I was looking for were out of stock. The pharmacy was busy, but the line moved quickly. My medication was not ready and I had to return more than once to get all of my prescriptions. The pharmacy technicians provided excellent customer service. The pharmacist seemed rude. read more

I'm so done with this pharmacy. The people have no idea what they're doing and zero appreciation for their customers. I had to come back three times for the same medication - not because of something I did because they didn't know what they were doing. The first time their credit card machine was not working and they told me they would hold it and I could come back. When I came back, they told me it wasn't ready and it would not be ready again until the next morning The last time I waited in line and I was told it still not filled even though it was supposed to be filled the day before. they always have a registered down here, making the wait exceptionally slow. The pharmacist lady is never on top of the staff or has any clue what is going on. Ask her on any day she will tell you "I have no idea what's going on." That is her one line. The staff don't know what they're doing either. They'll tell you one thing that is absolutely untrue and make you come back another day and wait again because they don't know what they're doing. I am absolutely transferring all of my prescriptions out of this place for myself and my family. We will never, ever be going back and I recommend you all do the same. read more

The pharmacy staff was very incompetent and didn't pay attention to detail when working with our insurance company. They ran the Covid-19 boosters as a pharmacy visit instead of as medical visit, so it was denied, and then they tried to charge us $190 per vaccine. When I called our insurance, they said it's covered, it's just CVS staff didn't run it correctly. Then they wouldn't fit us for next appointment although it was their mistake because they were short staffed. read more

If you need a Covid test go to a different location. This location is not helpful. The pharm tech didn't provide direction on how to do the test properly. She would ask a question then walk away before I could answer. I'm sure my test will be inconclusive. Do yourself a favor and go to a different location. read more

I scheduled a Covid test 2 weeks out. On the day of my appointment, they cancelled my appointment a little more than an hour before my appointment time. I tried to call the store, but all I got was a run around from the automated phone prompts. The only actual human being that I was able to get a hold of was at a call center so she had no idea. Since it was a last minute cancellation, I couldn't find any available appointment that same day or the next day. My Covid test was for travel so I was under a time crunch. I later found out that the system was down. It would be nice if they have a back-up plan for instances like this. I ended up having to go to the urgent care clinic that doesn't accept health insurance. I hope that the insurance company will reimburse me since I'm now out $800+ for covid tests for 3 people. read more

Pharmacist this evening was rude and unhelpful at the CVS Landsdowne Center, Alexandria, VA. They were out of the medication for my son who is very sick so staff told me to wait for the Pharmacist to help me search for other CVS locations that have it. After 15 minutes, he finally comes over looking irritated and says, "Are you waiting for me help you?" I repeated the reason I needed his help and he basically says he's too busy, stand aside, so he can help the next customer. Will not be going back to this pharmacy. read more

How does this pharmacy keep customers? After many years avoiding cvs after less than perfect service I'm back as my insurance forced me to use cvs. I remember why I left. Step one: rx not done when promised. Site said my order will be done and ready at 2pm. At 430pm I arrived. My order is not done. I was told my insurance didn't go thru but I can see on web that it was run earlier. Even so, cvs fails to use my contact # and alert me of delays. CVS Pharmacies are pretty much the same wherever you go. All are pricey compared to your average Wal-Mart, Target or grocery store for pretty much everything. Some are a little bigger. Some smaller. Some cleaner. Some are veritable train wrecks. The CVS in Landsdowne Center falls squarely in the middle. Customer service can be a bit hit or miss, but I attribute that more to the customers themselves, than the service. I find this CVS extremely convenient especially when I'm grabbing some lunch my favorite pho joint. I also always seem to find what I'm looking for whenever I can't find it in said Wal-Mart, Target or grocery store. I'm not sure why I couldn't find Reach Total Care dental floss anywhere else but this CVS, but I did. Perhaps they cornered the Reach Total Care market? I paid my $4 per roll and got two. For my "trouble", I also got a CVS Extrabucks Rewards coupon for $3.50 off my next purchase. I still won't be able to buy a roll of dental floss with the credit, but every bit helps. read more

It's out of my way, which makes a huge difference in my busy life. I normally go to the Walgreen's around the corner to my neighborhood. However, our insurance wants us to use CVS, so my maintenance meds *that are not time-sensitive* are mailed through them. When I do go there, I have to be prepared to wait, though most every pharmacy is like that these days... show me one that doesn't have a wait! When they do get to me, they have been very nice. I do like the variety of products they have on the floor, especially the homeopathic meds. The pharmacist's assistant even showed me how to save $20 on my asthma medicine, and waited for me to sign up online with the site offering the discount. Good deal. Sure, it's pricier than a big box discount store, but sometimes you can get decent deals. Need a specialty product? They usually have it, and that in itself is a time-saver. read more

On more than one occasion they have gotten my prescriptions wrong or just plain out-right lied about the status of my prescriptions. Yesterday was it. This pharmacy is horrible. I needed a time sensitive medication and they informed me it was in stock. An hour later I received a text that it was on order. When I called them, they assured me it would be in the next day and no other pharmacy in the area had it in stock. I went in the next day to pick it up and was told that it was a two day order and would be in the following day! I was so upset and really panicking at that point. They told me they would be the only ones to have it by the next day without me having to go into DC for it. When I got to my car something told me to call a few stores. My magic number was 5. On the 3rd call, it was in stock less than 3 miles away at a 24 hour CVS. I was both relieved and livid that they lied. If I could give no stars I would. The last two visits at the pharmacy have been the worst ever! After waiting for 5 minutes (I did look at my watch) I nicely asked if one of 3 people working in the pharmacy could help me. I was told in a minute. After several more minutes, 3 to be exact, I was finally helped. My wife, who had been shopping, was standing at the front counter with another person - because there was no one there! The pharmacy is the absolutely worst customer service I've ever encountered. A medication I received only gave me 5 applicators and it was a 7 day medication. I called the pharmacist and she told me that she could give me two more applicators but would charge my insurance for an entire package of the medication as well!! After I asked her was there any other options she said, "it's really not her problem!" Horrible pharmacy service. I have been coming here for more than two years and the last four times I've had a prescription sent here they have claimed to have never received it from my doctor. Even though my doctor, each time, has confirmed it was sent. The last time I went I called twice ahead of time in case this happened again and no anwser. It happened again and I had to wait for 45 minutes with bronchitis in the waiting area. The pharmacist was rude and short the entire time. I am switching pharmacies. read more

I was required to get a covid swab for a non illness related doctors appointment I have coming up. I scheduled the required appointment for the covid swab and showed up on time to the drive up line which in my opinion should be a line of its own separate from the pharmacy to help things flow more smoothly. After waiting 20 min and not moving an inch in the car line I got out and asked if I could just swab inside since I have absolutely no symptoms and am doing this as a pre requisite for my other appointment. I have no reason whatsoever to believe I have covid. They told me I have to do it in the car line to which I returned to my same spot in the car line. It took about 10-15 min per car. So my appointment is absolutely pointless. No value of my time whatsoever. It should not take an hour and a half to sit in a line to perform a 20 second test. My recommendation is that they would have a separate line for appointments and not have everyone go through the main pharmacy line. This takes an inordinate amount of time. read more

I live in the area and use this CVS often. You think I would learn....but I seem to be a glutton for punishment. This pharmacy is routinely out of routine prescriptions, the staff is extraordinarily rude, and whatever you do, do NOT wait for your prescription to be filled. Usually takes over an hour. I went to this location as an emergency. My usual pharmacy is the Wegmans across the street. But they didn't have my medication in stock and I needed it that day. Also the rx is necessary to sustain my high risk pregnancy. Not only did the pharmacist give me an attitude because I asked him to check other pharmacies he said that he was doing me a favor because he didn't need to do that for my medication!!!! What kind of person and what kind of person tells a customer that they don't need to be that helpful?!? What did he mean by saying think anyway? He just accomplished making me feel more awful and distraught over the potential of losing my baby because no one seemed to have my medication. The pharmacy isn't great--they're often confused. I'll get an automated call telling me something is ready to pick up, and when I arrive they have no idea what that thing is. They sometimes don't have a med in stock, but at least they try to call around to see who else has it. I find it's better to drop off a Rx and come back later--waiting isn't good. I think they're understaffed. The drive-through option is great for prescriptions... but the sensor has been broken for a few weeks, so they don't know you're there. We used the local Safeway for prescrips until our insurance plan forced us to use *only* CVS, and we're not happy about it. Still, it's close to home and the parking situation isn't bad. read more

We've been using this pharmacy since Oct 2013, and have not experienced the problems mentioned in the other reviews. Today, Sandy in the pharmacy went out of her way to contact two physicians who had failed to phone in the promised prescriptions - even though she was very busy. Granted, the staff is not all smiley-friendly but that's ok if they help you out! I like that the store has a little bit of everything. We'll continue to use it as backup to our federal mail-in program. read more
