I used to go to this pharmacy because it's open 24 hours. After several mistakes by this pharmacy, I decided to go to another CVS in Las Tunas Dr. It's not 24 hours but they are efficient. I don't know how this pharmacy works on transcribing an order. They made mistakes on the order 3 times already. One of the mistake was giving me prescription for hydroxyzine when the prescription was hydralazine. No wonder my blood pressure was not going down. I was taking the medication for several days when I decided to look closely at the prescription bottle then I realized it's not a blood pressure med. I went there to ask for the original prescription thinking my doctor may have wrote it wrong. Nope, my doctor wrote it as hydralazine. I spoke with the supervisor about the first and second mistake. The only good thing about this place is that it's open 24/7. Besides that, they are always understaffed. There's no use having so many cash registers if you don't have enough employees on staff to actually cover them. Also, the pharmacy is really inefficient. I pick up my dad's meds here because it was the only place around where I can pick up meds at any time of the day. However.. 1) the meds are never auto refilled all at once even though I pick them up at the same time. 2) I have to tell them which meds need to be filled AND the dosage. 3) even after I tell the the number of meds I'm picking up, the names, the dosage, AND the frequency, they still find a way to mess it up. I don't know how their computer system works, but it can't be that hard to figure out when each med was last filled. Im an RN so I know all the meds im picking up. I can't imagine why happens to people who aren't familiar with their medications and may be taking the wrong me cause of this pharmacy's screw ups. read more

I've lived in the area for 10 years and have had to use this CVS after normal business hours due to emergencies 3 times. Each time the experience has been awful and I've never written a review but the last experience compels me to do so. My husband's dentist called in a prescription for him at 11 pm. Dentist calls us to say that CVS says it will be ready at 11:30 pm. Husband goes picks it up at 11:40 pm and upon arriving at the register, is told that it will be another 40 min! He gets back in line early as the line is now so long that it is halfway down the isle and he can hear the disgruntled customers complaining of the wait. At 12:20 am at the register, he is again turned away and told "we are backed up and it will be another 40 min." He finally was able to get the medicine at 1:00am. I do have to give credit to CVS corporate office as I logged a complaint about the inefficiencies of the pharmacy on line and have already gotten 2 calls back to provide me with updates of how they are resolving this issue. I just hope this gets resolved but I doubt it as I have read alot of other Yelpers complain of the slow service in the pharmacy. You would think that CVS corp would check out the reviews and know this! read more

No matter what time you come here to pick up a prescription, you will WAIT. So understaffed! Even late at night there can be a line of 10 people with only one person at the register and one pharmacist. Used to go to a mom'n pop pharmacy, which I LOVED, but changes in my insurance forced me to come here. If you can go somewhere else, you'll be better off. read more

Avoid this pharmacy and minute clinic at all costs. The people are nice but the system is bad so you take hours waiting for the most basic things. Find another CVS close by to get it done. read more

Terrible! I'd give a "0" star. I transferred my Rx here, thought that I would be easier since they are 24hr. It was a mistake!!! It took me 10 days to fill my Rx since I Have to have one or the other manufacturer for my meds due to allergy to dye. First they called me 3 days later said they are not contracted with the mfg I wanted. Then I went there and provided another mfg I can tolerate, the Lead Pharm Tech Veronica said computer system is down, she handwritten down my request. I called the next day. Carl the Mgr said he didn't get the request! But he took down my request AGAIN, and said their inventory specialist Amanda would call me the next day. No one called me the next day. So I called again, Carl then said he has it and told me to pick it up. I showed up after work, the pharmacist and pharm tech Elizabeth did not find any meds for me!! Then she said someone will contact me the next day. Guess what?! Of course no one calls!! Then I called again!!! The pharm tech Johnny said no, he never seen any request on my profile! I requested to file a complain. Then he transferred me to a pharmacist, after he said "no" he didn't see anything, then he said he saw "something from Sandoz." And he told me to pick up in half an hour! As if I standby all week and a half to wait for them to figure out how to do their jobs right, and when they figured it out, I should drop everything and run there! It's ridiculous! This place seemed fine when we got the prescription but now they're robocalling us over and over urging us to come in to get refills on a prescription for which we have no refills. There's a special number you've got to call to stop this. Yuck. I wouldn't go back. I have enough robocalls in my life. read more

Called pharmacy. They answered the phone said they woulD be right away. 17 minutes later I gave up. Called back and asked for manager; they told me he stepped out for 30 minutes and told me nobody was in charge. Worst cvs branch. Expect to wait and wait. They don't staff that branch appropriately. The only thing good is its 24 hrs. I suggest going to other cvs pharmacies. read more

First time coming in here for there Minute Clinic. Went there to get my son a sports physical. Really disorganized and there system is completely flawed. Only one person working there which is a nurse practitioner. Went in signed in to the kiosk says it will text me and to arrive in 30 minutes, cool! Waited two hours then got a text to arrive in 30 minutes. Arrived there in 10 minutes. Upon arrival there is a sign thats says "out to lunch" so now I have to wait a whole hour. WHY send me a text if my son is not going to be seen in 30 minutes? After waiting finally she comes out calls my son and off the bat was just RUDE no mannerisms what so ever. I was trying to ask Ms Hall some questions and she was completely rude and short answered. I will not recommend going there regarding your health especially seeing that Hall chick! This is your life. Go somewhere where they care!!! Oh, why have a help desk with someone sitting there and not be able to assist with customers/patients properly. read more

Avoid this pharmacy if you have any other options,, I dropped off several prescriptions on a Sunday a.m and was told by pharmacist that my doctor would be contacted next day to clarify prescription dosage on one of the medications. As well told prescriptions would be ready next day for pick up. I called pharmacy to verify pickup and was told that prescription would not be ready for another six days because pharmacy mgr. was on vacation! This is outrageous for needed medicines; I would have never left prescriptions if told it would take week to fill them. Returned to store to pick up prescriptions to take to different pharmacy and there were long lines to both pick up and drop off medication. I asked pharmacist why I was not advised of the delay and experienced staff to be very rude. I will look for old fashioned pharmacy that can compound medications. read more

I came to buy insulin last night 6/11/16 and waited in line from 9:40pm-10:15pm at which point I was denied regular insulin, which is over the counter medication, because I did not bring a prescription. I have never had to bring a prescription for regular insulin before. The employee was very rude and dismissive of the issue. I will never return to this location again. I bought my regular insulin today 6/12/16 at Walmart pharmacy with no issues and no prescription needed. read more

I just walked off after waiting almost 30 minutes to drop off a prescription. It seems every time I'm there they are taking care of people who can't find their insurance or some thing that takes hours. I never got waited on and so my kid didn't get his antibiotics. Here's something that happened to me today that I think was pretty funny. I go into this CVS looking for a specific type of facial cleanser/wash/whatever. So I go to the beauty section where one of the female managers is putting away some things. She gives me this flirtatious look and smile. But, me- I don't think it's intended for me, so I turn around to see if it's meant for someone else. I turn around- no one there. I think "oh, it's on, baby!" and turn back to Female Manager expecting the courtship to commence (haha)! But she mistook my head turn as a sign of rejection, and gives me a bad look. After about a second or two, she takes out her radio while looking at me and somehow connects with the loudspeaker: "Security watch to Camera A, Security watch to Camera A!!" She was trying to make me feel bad for thinking I rejected her!!! ... Well, they didn't have the cleanser I wanted anyway, but at least I have this awkward story to tell. read more

This rating is merely on the experience on 1/14/16 with the lead technician Veronica. I went there to pick up the blood sugar test strips refill for my mom, then I was told Medi-care rejected it, I asked why. This lady Veronica, the lead technician gave me a print out saying medi-caid not eligible. I told her not medi-cal (mdeicaid nationally), but medi-care. She wanted me to go home to call Medi-care. I did, as expected, medicare said it's fully covered. Then I went back, Ms. V said, for some reason, they couldn't get approved, and said I can transfer the prescription. I said didn't she want to find out what the problem is? Then she went over a counter and resubmitted, she talked spanish to the girl next counter and rolled her eyes. Anyway, she called the number that I called and got the approval. At the end, she gave me some bogus reason saying Medi-care changes things. She refused to admit they did something wrong during the first submission, or apologized to having me make two trips. She's arrogant and didn't treat customer with courtesy. I asked do I need to go through the same thing again, she said because she called, next time will be fine....What??? She added, it's medicare who messed up...duh. read more
