Customer Service with proper conduct and respect Should be on the forefront of Every business; Especially, these days where there are Many companies Permanently Closing. The "Customer" is what makes or breaks a business; not the other way around. Yesterday, April 27, 2026 roughly around five pm; I walked into this 7 Eleven location (an over thirty year long-term customer, I might say, truthfully speaking) to use my T-Mobile Large size coffee coupon. I put all the fix-ins to have a Large coffee and walked to the register; "Lee - claimed to be the store manager" stated that the coupon/barcode doesn't work and that I have to pay the amount shown on the screen. I mentioned to the manager that I pressed the claim now button shown on my IPhone. Again, the barcode doesn't work he stated. I stated that I would use my earned in store points that I accumulated to pay. "Lee" the manager repeatedly stated: you have to pay the amount on the screen. This manager was "exceptionally" "Rude" where I slightly recall another episode-event walking to this same location to use my big gulp coupon digitally. Their systems was down at that time. I recall this same individual was rude to others, the person before me including but not limited to, me. He had stated that their systems was down, unable to pay electronically; only by cash. Many, including myself had to leave their items on the counter and walk away. This store manager "Lee" was extremely rude to myself and to others where this type of conduct should be addressed immediately! Correction of action should take place and/or dismissal of employment. I've stopped by the 7-Eleven on Baldwin many times. Everything is laid out and very easy to find everything that you need. You've got all the refrigerated drinks to the left wall, the hot food by the registers, and then all the snacks and convenience items in the aisles. What always impresses me the most is how efficient and quickly the workers at the registers do their job. When I'm there in the morning, it's pretty busy but that worker is able to bounce between the two registers to help accommodate more of the customers and to be able to get them out of the store soon as possible as well. Came here to redeem my free pizza slice and four mini beef tacos from the 2019 Detective Pikachu promo game that they got going on. (Download the 7-11 app to play the game). Parking: Free and spacious. This 7-11 is adjacent to Keewah Bakery. Doesn't look sketchy from the outside parking lot around and it's pretty clean inside. There were two employees working that Sunday (4.28.19). The female employee was nice, cheery and instantly greeted me upon entrance. The younger male employee looked rather aloof and miserable working there. Didn't even noticed that I was standing right in front of him at the cashier stand until I said a pleasant, but loud "Hello!" Afterwards, he was more alert and attentive. As for the food... I got a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was pretty good! Not too greasy and satisfying. It had three pieces of pepperoni and it was quite cheesy, yum! The pizza dough and crust itself was hearty and crispy. I would get this again, especially since it's 2 slices for $2 at regular price. My four mini beef tacos were tasty as well. Crispy taco shells and again, not greasy either. The beef filling inside was flavorful and mild. Regular price is 10 pieces for $4, not a bad deal. Yes, I would get this again too! Tried to rip me off again with the Nats Sherman $4.00 for 1 pack coupon price. Tried to charge me $5.71 as if my coupon was a $4.00 off coupon their total price...WTF?!?! Should have been $4.91/$4.92 total, out the door. $4.00 for 1 pack .91 or .92 for sales tax of full price. I didn't notice any TVs but I believed there was background music. The place was kept clean which was always a major plus. Attire - Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, Arcadia's 7-Eleven location on Baldwin Ave. managed to distinguish itself from other locations with its cleanliness, friendly service, and decent parking. It stocked all the items you've come to expect such as snacks, libations, toiletries, etc. and the prices were pretty standardized. Truth be told, I mainly rated each store based on their Slurpee selection and this one in my opinion was good with six flavors - three of which were your standbys. The cashier half-rung up an older guy in front of us, and while the guy was getting out his cash, the cashier impatiently motioned to us to put our stuff on the counter so he could scan it. My friend came to this particulate spot on Baldwin to buy some snacks for the movie Spiderman into the spider verse(now in theaters near you). Okay so I've been going to this 7-Eleven for about 7 years now (it was on the route from my home to high school, and it's a block away, so it's really convenient ) Over the years the clerks have changed from person to person, but they've always generally been pretty nice and chill 90% of the time. (The other 10% they seemed somewhat intimidating, but that was ages ago) Pretty standard fare for 7-Eleven if you've ever been to any others. The problem with them though is that they usually have a very small variety of drinks and snacks compared to the other 7-Elevens in this area. For example, they did not stock the limited edition Mountain Dews over the summer while every other 7-Eleven in the area did. This is just one example, as there are other times when I was rather disappointed. Even their grill is somewhat inferior to the other 7-Elevens. While they have all the hotdogs and taquito variants, they don't have the section with chicken wings and pizza. (Once again, every other 7-Eleven in this area has them.) So I've gotta give this place a 2 star, for "Meh. I've experienced better." But if you need a quick stop on your map for an Arizona or whatever is really common, you can get it here no problem. read more

Dude, avoid this place at ALL costs. I live just down the block from them, so I stop in pretty often. If anything is on sale, don't expect to get the actual sale price. I've tried to buy Ben & Jerry's pints which were 2 for $5, but the clerk walked over and ripped up the sale sign when they didn't ring up at the sale price. Just this morning, I bought two 1-liter bottles of Arrowhead water which were 2 for $2. The clerk (who is ALWAYS on his Bluetooth headset and refuses to speak to anyone) flat-out told me no and refused to give me a receipt. When I told him I would call the manager, he said "good" and sent me on my way. What the fuck? Also, if you pay with cash, expect to have a hand thrust into your face without being told your total, and then your cash will be promptly SNATCHED out of your hand. Oh, and don't expect a bag, no matter how many items you purchase. He'll just start ringing up the next person while you struggle with an awkward armful of items. Stopped by to pick up some late night snacks. After I swipe my credit card, the cashier starts saying to me repeatedly, "tip" . . . . . "tip" . . . . . "tip" . . . . . "tip". After about 30 seconds of this mindless mantra, I tell him that I don't understand what he wants or what he's saying. He starts getting an attitude with me, treating me as if I'm some kind of agitator looking for trouble. He finally starts gesturing spastically toward the credit card reader and then tries to explain to me that there is a "tip" inside the credit card. I now finally realize that he wants me to use the new chip reader instead of the magnetic swipe. After putting my card into the chip reader, I explain to the cashier that I know what a "chip" is, but "chip" is a different word than "tip", and "ch" is not the same sound as "t". He shoves my food over and waves me away angrily. I witnessed a similar episode several weeks earlier happen to the customer ahead of me. The guy was asking for a particular brand of cigarettes, from this same cashier. The cashier pointed to a pack of the wrong brand, looked at the customer inquiringly, and the customer said no, again giving him the correct brand name. The cashier then said, "We don't have that brand." The customer and I could both see the correct brand one shelf below the one the cashier was pointing at. The customer kept saying, "down, below it, it's there, right there, one shelf down" repeatedly, but the cashier continued pointing stupidly at the wrong brand. This cashier has been working here for as long as I can remember, for many years. He's there all the time and must be the manager or owner. Here's some advice for you. If you want to feel welcome in your own business and your country of residence, have the courtesy to bother learning the language of your customers, and don't put it on me when I can't understand what the **** you're saying. I guess one needs to have realistic expectations at a 7-Eleven store. There's probably a reason these employees have spent their whole lives working in a late night convenience store rather than moving on to something of higher ambition.
