I had an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience with the pharmacist at this CVS. I came in twice in one day because I needed to gather additional information and return. Both times, the pharmacist was rude, unprofessional, and openly hostile--rolling his eyes, huffing and puffing, and speaking in an aggressive, dismissive manner. It wasn't just directed at me; I also witnessed him interacting similarly with a customer at the drive-through window, as if he was waiting for that person to question something so he could pounce. The issue involved a manufacturer's coupon I have successfully used for over eight years. He repeatedly insisted I didn't understand how these coupons work and told me that because he has "been a pharmacist for years," he knew better than I did. I already knew that the only time these coupons fail is due to how they are entered or processed in the CVS system--but he would not listen. After I finally gave up and asked him to just check me out, he then asked to see my paperwork again. When I couldn't immediately pull it back up on my phone, he admitted that he only wanted it so he could prove that I was wrong--not to help resolve the issue, but to rub my nose in what he believed was my mistake. That level of pettiness and lack of professionalism was shocking. When I got home, I reviewed the fine print myself and confirmed that nothing supported what he was claiming. I have since asked my doctor to transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy and will be taking my business elsewhere. After this experience, I will no longer use CVS for my family. No one should be treated this way when simply trying to fill a prescription. read more

ONE star only because it won't let me leave ZERO. You would think if a customer in the drive-thru pharmacy line had an issue, CVS would ask them to just pull around and come inside. Instead I was next in line and waited 25 minutes (no exaggeration) to get to the window. 3 or 4 cars pulled off that were waiting behind me, and I would have to if I could've cleared the brick pillar. There is no excuse for this to happen. When I got to the window it took 3 minutes to pick up 3 prescriptions. So I'm not sure if they're filling Rx's while you wait in the drive-thru or what they're doing, but their common sense is definitely lacking for this to happen. read more

CVS has really gone downhill since Covid. The pharmacy is always days late filling prescriptions and no one ever answers the phone. Making matters even worse, the same company (Aetna) is also my health insurance and they force me to only get 30 days of medicine at a time and I am often end up buying other things from this terrible company since I need to go to their store so often. I saw news headlines this morning that they are making record profits and employees are striking, time to invest in your pharmacy employees! After sitting on hold for 15 minutes I started browsing Aetna's list of other "in network" pharmacies and got a "Search Failed" error from their website, wonder why fixing that isn't a priority.. read more

grumpy pharmacist this AM. called me then got belligerent. they are way understaffed. has been an issue for awhile. also systems are terrible - checkout takes forever and a million wasted coupons that expire before you return. etc. read more

Disorganized, uncaring. Ingles couldn't fill prescription so I had to go here to get meds. Had to wait along time for nasal sprays and antibiotics ( common stuff) . Go somewhere else if you can! read more

Update, I have used Fletcher CVS since we moved here in 2097. And of course Covid made all pharmacies a nightmare, so I am just referring to after the Covid time. Since I never got a check for not working during Covid, I don't know if the federal or state government is still handing them out and that is the reason why so many businesses are still shorthanded. But for whatever reason, cVS stores everywhere are shorthanded especially in the pharmacy. And I read an article not long ago ,that the CVS head corporation is putting a lot of pressure on the employees that are still working there. Requiring more of them with fewer less to do it. Sound familiar? Anyway, Fletchers CVS pharmacist s and their assistants or technicians(I am not sure of their exact job title) have ALWAYS treated ME with GREAT RESPECT, even when they were uninformed with phone calls and orders to fill. One employee ,Neal. Has been there the longest since we have lived in Fletchers. He is always kind, and encouraging and very helpful when I don't understand something about one of my medications. The pharmacist s also bend over backwards to accommodate me too and are very professional and kind . CVS 's problem is the CORATE OFFICE . They need to learn the word empathy for their employees and help them solve problems instead of ordering them around like they were their personal slaves. good as always read more

There are pharmacies run better when paper prescriptions and index cards we commonly used than what's happening in our small town of Fletcher, North Carolina and this CVS store. This pharmacy can't stock supply and they can't fill prescriptions on-time for critical medications. "Special orders" are so routine there should be an internal audit or investigation as to why Aetna/CVS set-up their staff to fail. There's no excuse for customers (patients) who are on their last 30-day of a 3x 30-day prescription to have to wait 9-days after their 30-day prescription when the drug is NOT in short supply. You KNOW based on prescription reviews I am coming to ask for my medication. These include controlled substances, etc.. My recommendation: The absent, incompetent, unresponsive REGIONAL Aetna/CVS leadership for Western North Carolina should be fired immediately, and replaced with competent, customer-focused, purpose-driven, patient-oriented, community-responsive leadership who understand population health and supports the overwhelmed frontline workers here at the Fletcher facility. In fact, I recommend firing the whole chain-of-command in the Southeast Region reporting straight to the CEO. If these leaders are not monitoring the company's patient-oriented pharmacies, all of them - as established professionals in healthcare - are an embarrassment to public health in America. I told the cashier (a really nice person, but completely powerless) that --- with the dozen CVS coupons that come with my late paid prescription --- I deserve a free beverage of my choice coupon so I can immediately swallow my pill IN THE STORE. Everyone around the pharmacy (including myself) laughed because everyone knew it was true and many would do the same when they got their beverage. However, after many years of store loyalty, I'm taking my pharmacy business elsewhere. read more

The poor reviews are a sad reality. Our insurance company has made a deal with CVS, so we are stuck until we change insurance. Don't call the pharmacy. They won't answer. The automated system is constantly texting me to say a prescription is ready for pickup. When I arrive at the window, a zombie says "yeah, nothing ready for you. Yeah, the system does that." "Walk-ins welcome for flu shots." No, not really. I walked in and the "pharmacist" said to the lady who tried to get me in - we don't have any vaccines. End of story. Went to Walgreen's and was taken care of quickly and professionally. Speaking of which, besides all the understocked meds, professionalism and compassion are in very short supply at this pharmacy. read more

Slow, long wait times every time I have come to this location. Never answer the phone and prescription is never ready

every time I call them for refills for prescription refills no one answers the phone. I ended up driving to the store and spoke to an very rude pharmacy tech and was able to get the refill ordered but I complained about being on the phone for over an hour and no one answered and his re was "sorry were too busy to answer the phone" i said well you should hire someone to help answer the phones and his response is "we don't hire people just to answer the phones" well they got to do something. so to avoid doing bus with them I'm now in the process to switching pharmacy's completely (and no im not going to a different CVS I'm going to a different pharmacy completely). I am done doing business with them as the customer service is poor. avoid coming to this location for prescriptions medicine. good bye CVS read more

Consistently poor sevice. I'd recommend you use a different pharmacy unless you like poor service, rude staff and people with a bad attitude. I would overlook it if it only happened once. Though this is the mist convenient pharmacy to my home i will no longer give them my business. read more
